How were economists writing about the US economy being a “giant business” and our American society being “high consumption low savings” in the 1980s without seeing any red flags?? This book is lowkey American propaganda that uses dated economic concepts and is irrelevant compared to the shitshow that is the global economy now.
If the author only knew about e-commerce or OnlyFans as a business — let alone 2008 — he’d be rolling in his grave.
