Thin Walls

Rate this book
I’ve always considered myself a strong and capable woman. At least, that’s how I felt before the shooting. After that, I turned into a bit of a shut-in. I’m not going to lie and blame the whole situation on my physical recovery. I also needed time to deal with all the emotional stuff that comes from nearly dying. Now, I, Mercedes Whitier, am ready to take on the world again!

Thanks to the thin walls in my condo, I know exactly where to start—with my irritating neighbor. The last thing I want on Sunday morning is to listen to a screaming woman, so I march over to my neighbor’s place to complain about his guest. When my neighbor answers his door in nothing but his boxers, my life takes a very interesting turn—one involving a hot British guy, his crazy ex-girlfriend, a new job, and some lunatic determined to make me forget I’m strong and confident.

It’s nothing I can’t handle, right? Yeah, even I’m worried this situation might be too much for me.

This one sounds tempting but ONLY if the particular screaming she has heard (or has EVER heard coming from the hero's place) is argument screaming, not the hero having sex with other women screaming...(lol)

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

What can I say about Thin Walls? Easy. ITS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD! Miss Cassandra Lawson does a HELL OF AN AMAZING JOB with romantic comedies! And Thin Wall is some of her FINEST work. Hilarious, witty, crackling with heat with 2 of the most brilliant characters Miss Lawson has come up with yet, I fell in major lust and love with this romantic comedy!

Thin Walls was wonderfully, hilariously fun and sassy! I fell in love with the witty banter and crazy addictive romance. I had LOADS of fun reading this book. The characters were irresistible to me and the best part...SOME OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS MADE AN APPEARANCE AND I LOOOOOOOVED THAT! GAH! This book gave me the GOOD FEELS and made me smile and laugh. This book is WORTH EVERYTHING to me!

Thin Walls gets a SASSY AND HILARIOUS FIVE FUN STARS!

This is another installment in the Reckless Release series. Mercy finally finds love and it is embodied by Spencer, her neighbor. Spencer is surprisingly sweet and the relationship between them moves quickly. I enjoyed the banter and the virtual assumption from the beginning that they would get married. They were both very chill when multiple people suggested they would be married, even when they were not even officially dating. The conflict between them came from imo surprising outside sources. I've enjoyed the other books in this series and this was no exception.

Mercedes Whitier had always been a strong and capable woman until the shooting in a robbery of her club when she turned into a recluse but she is finally ready to take on the world. The think walls of her condo give her a perfect opportunity to start by complaining to her irritating neighbour about the screaming woman in his condo on a Sunday morning - however when he answers the door in nothing but his boxer shorts her life takes an interesting path involving a hot British guy, a crazy ex-girlfriend, an interesting new job and a mad person who seems determined to make her forget how strong and capable she really is.

This is a fun story on the periphery of the Reckless Release series. The was a skilfully told romance story that had me hooked and unable to put it down. I was entranced by the latest catastrophe to befall Mercy and her hot neighbour and the whodunit that was entwined into the story as I tried to work out who it actually way. I didn't guess it right. Well told and easy to understand and feel, it was a great story that made me want to know more about what happened next for everyone.

The title is really the opener for this one with it giving you a good look at exactly what that means especially when you have them. I like the flow in this one the character takes you on a escape giving the all in the world this one has to offer. Mercedes while she tells her story will also get you to thinking on what would you have done. It has a mix this one does which makes for a fun read that keeps your attention.

Short review. Mixed feelings. The romance part was enjoyable but I found the suspense over who stalker was and why they were doing it felt lacking especially who the stalker really turns out to be. The who stalker reveal felt like a surprise twist for the sake of having a surprise twist and didn't make sense the more I thought it.

Good Solid Read

This novel was a good solid read. It was great to see that Mercedes got to have her own romantic tale told, as she was such an interesting character brought to light in previous novels. This romantic tale also included mystery, suspense and snippets of light ans bright to round out the tale.

This was a fun, romcom that sprinkled in just enough intrigue to make this a can’t put down read. I enjoyed seeing some of my favorite characters back from the Reckless Release series!!!! Awesome read...enjoyed every minute of it!!

❤️

I have to say I loved it. Mercy is strong and sassy. She says what she wants and is honest at all turns. Spencer is the same but has a weakness for all things Mercy. It’s well worth your time to indulge in the great read.

Very good

I enjoyed this story so much , I had to read it again . Mercy is a great main female character . I love everything about her and if Spencer had a southern accent , he would be perfect too ! Very good series !

Meh....it had potential but it fell flat for me. The threat was easy to figure out. The love affair wasnt as hot as I had hoped it would be. Just not my cup of tea. 2.5*ho hum*stars

Enjoyable

Liked how it started off. Lots of fun times but still had some suspense to it that just added to the story. Glad it all worked out in the end.
