Meg Ripley is an author of steamy shifter romances. A Seattle native who’s relocated to New England, she can often be found whipping up her next tale curled up in a local coffee house with a cappuccino and her laptop.
I like dragon romances, perhaps more than some because they're still new to me. But these were a puzzle. First, they were set in the 1980's. I get that some people find that decade interesting with the big hair, punk and new wave music, etc., but I found it to be odd that in 2019, I'm reading a story that is dated to almost 40 years before. I don't believe the era added anything to the story, and in some cases may have dragged the story down a bit.
I found the stories to be slower moving than I expected. I've read this author's books before and really thought the "romance" part of the stories would be noticeable in the first half of each. Instead it was not. The actual romance, and these books were after all billed as romance, didn't show up until over the 50% mark. In my opinion, the romance needs to be present from the very beginning. In this case, the attraction was there, but it was ignored by the H and the h of each story, almost as if the author wanted us reading a dragon story, rather than a romance. And when I say romance, it doesn't have to be sex. In fact that's only one small part of romance (contrary to what writers of "steamy contemporary romance" think). Romance is emotions, and while some were present, there needed to be more.
The pacing of the stories was, overall, very good. It slowed in a couple of places where it probably shouldn't have, but I was pleased by the pacing and story arc as I was reading. It just needed some romance injected along the way. The character development was good also, especially of the girls. In each story the heroine was well developed, with the H following closely behind. I was a little disappointed that the physical description of the dragons didn't go into more detail, but that was something I could live with. Overall, it is 3-1/2 Stars for this Goodreads review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I own all of these books individually and can tell you that you will love this series! The set includes: Damien's Nanny, Jackson's Nanny, Blane's Nanny, and Cameron's Nanny. Below are reviews of two of the books so you can get an idea of what these are about.
*** Reviewing BLANE'S NANNY *** Courtney Welsh stepped out on the crowded deck and looked around for her boss, Blane Vinson. He was quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s popular actors. A blonde stood close to him, oblivious to the fact that he would move on to the next woman before his fans even figured out her name. Courtney’s job as his assistant for the past two years was not an easy one; with increasing fame, Blane was even more difficult to deal with. She told him once again that he made himself too accessible to fans and reporters which could be dangerous, despite his being a shifter. She was again questioning how long she could continue in this job, not living her true dream of becoming an entertainment lawyer. At least the job let her save money for her education and put her in proximity of the celebrities who would one day be her clients.
With a horrible hangover, Blane could not even get out of bed. But Courtney came storming into his room and handed him some clothes. He wasn’t going to be on time for the rescheduled filming, but she was trying to at least get him on the set. As he made his way downstairs and opened the door to walk to the limo, he saw a basket of blankets in front of him. He read the note attached telling him this was his baby daughter, Amanda, and her mother could no longer care for the shifter baby. Fortunately Courtney was right behind him. She picked up and cuddled the child, read the note, and took charge as she always had. Whether Blane realized it or not, this life-altering event would require some serious changes in his life and a new awareness of how much Courtney really meant to him. Were they up to the challenge? Would they face this together or would Blane be alone for the first time?
This was a really good story. It was fun to watch the change from party guy to responsible grown up dad – but not without lots of help. Throw in the added distress of dealing with a stalker, and the pressure is ON!
*** Reviewing CAMERON'S NANNY *** Cameron Collins, a successful film producer, flew through the night sky, thinking about Tess who had been gone for four years now after an incurable dragon virus took her life. She had just given birth to his son, Andy. She would have been proud of his success; she always knew he would make it big. He still talked to her in his mind, missing her presence in his life.
As he flew back to his home, Cameron noticed quite a few lights on upstairs and downstairs. That was unusual. But Andy’s nanny was waiting in the kitchen, still fully dressed in her daytime clothes. She asked him to sit so they could talk. She had gotten a call that her mother was dying and she decided to return home permanently. Cameron would miss her very much and had no idea how he would ever replace her. He felt she was a part of his family.
Samantha was packing to join her friend, Jane, in California. A dark spirit had continuously visited her and taken her to a battle somewhere. When her fiancé saw her act out her struggle with the spirit and tear apart the room, he moved out and told people about her. With everyone aware of her scary spirit abilities, it was difficult to deal with their mistrust and nervousness around her. It was affecting her job and her life in the community. She would move away, start new and hope for the best.
Cameron stopped in to see his friends at Indulgence. Blane, an actor and friend, was there and encouraged him that he might find someone to settle down with, but Cameron said there was no one like Tess and he wouldn’t want a woman who only wanted him because of his business success. In the meantime, he needed a full-time nanny rather than temps. When the door at the celebrity club opened, Cameron’s eyes locked with a beautiful woman entering with Blane’s sister, Jane. They walked over to Cameron and Blane and introductions were made. Cameron wasn’t sure he wanted to shake Samantha’s hand because she was making his brain feel fuzzy, and he felt electric sparks move up his wrists. His dragon was fighting to get out! Although most of the movie crowd knew he was a dragon shifter, he didn’t let it be known to others.
Blane told his sister that Cameron needed a nanny for Andy, and Jane immediately recommended Sam since she had been a pre-school teacher. She might even be able to help Andy with his stuttering problem as he became more comfortable with her. Cameron liked that she was more concerned with his child than with just securing a job. He knew she wasn’t “normal” in some way, but he couldn’t figure out how she was different. Touching him, she had felt a surge of psychic energy but released her hand before the vision came. But after a few weeks of peace, the dark spirit found her again. Digging claws into her, it urged her to fight, but a dragon flew down and she came out of the vision. What did this mean? Was someone trying to get a message to her? Would Cameron find out about her visions and ask her to leave?
This is another wonderful book in this series that takes the reader into the home of a dragon shifter. The story line is good, with a touch of mystery about what the dark spirit is trying to force Samantha to do. The characters in each of these books are well developed and likable. To have them all here together is fantastic! Enjoy them – they are really great!
i read this box set as part of an arc program. This set is set in the 1980's and is about a group of friends who are dragon shifters who find love with the nannies they hire for their children. This set includes Damien's Nanny, Jackson's Nanny, Blane's Nanny, and Cameron's Nanny.
Damien's Nanny- Damien has recently divorced his wife and got sole custody of his daughter. This story takes place during the eighties. Damien wants to raise his daughter Stephanie full time, but he is a scout for a record label and he needs to work. When Damien runs an ad looking for a live in nanny, he looks overseas because he is well known and wants someone who is not looking to be famous. Brianna is from Ireland and is looking for a way to move to LA so she can work to make money to make a demo tape and realize her dream of being a singer. Brianna is hired as Damien's nanny and soon she only cares about raising Stephanie. Brianna is a great nanny and she settles in great. When Damien overhears Brianna singing Stephanie a lullaby, he is shocked to hear how great she is and he wants her to audition for the label. Brianna and Damien also are fighting their attraction to each other, which everyone else sees and they deny. I liked Damien and thought he was a really good guy. Brianna was so happy as a nanny that she forgot her dream to be a singer and didn't want Damien to think she was using him.
Jackson's Nanny- Jackson owns a number of clubs and is very successful. One night he arrives home to find his wife packed and telling him she is leaving him and their children. Jackson is shocked but thinks he and his wife have been distant for some time. Jackson tells his friend Damian he needs to find a nanny for his children and Damian's wife tells him about her best friend from Ireland, Cathy. Cathy agrees to come to the US to be a nanny for Jackson, only to find his children more than a handful. the children have never had any rules or structure and Cathy is having a hard time getting them to behave. Jackson is spending most of his time at work and dealing with a rival businessman. Jackson also is attracted to Cathy and finds it hard to resist her, so he is keeping his distance. Cathy find Jackson attractive, but thinks he needs to spend more time with his kids and teach them rules. When Jackson's rival threatens his kids, he knows he must take action. I think Jackson and Cathy are great together and really want to raise the kids right. I love how the kids begin to thrive under Cathy's care and how Jackson notices.
Blane's Nanny- In this book, actor Blane is getting ready to head out to his job at the studio where he is filming a new movie when he finds a baby on his doorstep with a note she is his daughter. Blane has no idea who the mother could be and leaves quickly, leaving Courtney, his assistant to care for the baby, Amanda. Courtney does everything for Blane but she has no idea what to do with Amanda. Courtney dreams of going to law school and was working to save money. When Blane tells her he will double her salary to be a nanny also, she thinks it will be quicker to her dream. Courtney calls for helpful advice from a friend and soon she has everything the baby needs. Courtney was left an orphan when she was young and Amanda brings up past feelings. Courtney wants to care for the baby because of her past. Blane misses Courtney when he is at work and starts to realize everything Courtney does for him. When Blane starts to care for the baby also, they fall into a routine. Blane also starts to have feelings for Courtney. I liked this book. I think Blane was an immature playboy and the baby made him grow up. I also think Courtney had feelings for Blane and caring for the baby made her want more in her life.
Cameron's Nanny- Cameron is a film producer and a single father to four year old Andy. When Cameron's long time nanny has to leave to go back to Germany to care for her ill mother and Cameron has to find a new nanny. Samantha is a preschool teacher and she is a medium. When word spread about her gift, people thought she was evil and her fiance left her. Samantha wanted a new start, so she moved to California to see her friend Jane and Jane introduced Samantha to Cameron. Cameron was attracted to Samantha and after talking to her, decided to hire her as Andy's nanny. Samantha was haunted by a spirit and tried to escape him, only to have him continue to haunt her more. When Cameron's dead wife Tess started coming to Samantha, Samantha knew she wanted to get a message to Cameron. I really enjoy this series. I liked this book, i liked Cameron and thought he wanted to be happy, but was scared it would mean he would forget his late wife.
I really liked this set and think they all were great stories.
Meg Ripley is one of the USA's best selling authors for paranormal romance stories and this is a brilliant collection of dragon shifter stories that are sure to please. All so very well written with fabulous characters and unique storylines. The stories included are :- Damien's Nanny:- Having finally got his cheating ex wife out of his home and life [as much as possible] dragon shifter, Damien, realises that he needs a nanny for his gorgeous little daughter, and dragon shifter too, Stephanie and he hires Brianna from Ireland. She's desperate to have a career singing but being a nanny will suffice for now but she needs to get to LA and so this job as nanny for Stephanie is perfect. But can she keep her heart guarded from the gorgeous Damien? Jackson's Nanny: When Cathy is bored out of her mind and not earning much she is delighted to hear from her friend Brianna who has landed in LA and lets her know that a shifter needs a nanny for his two children asap! She packs and leaves excited to be on an adventure. It helps that her boss, Jackson is delicious eye candy too - swoon time! His wife has left him and his two little dragons to fend for themselves on a whim without a goodbye never to be seen again. Jackson certainly likes Cathy as do the children. But Jackson has a rival in business who will do all that he can to bring down Jackson's elite clubs. Cameron's Nanny: Dragon widower, Cameron, is still mourning the loss of his wife Tess and has their beloved son Andy to keep him focussed. But it's a life and not really living. That is until Samantha comes on the scene. Samantha is a teacher but who is also a medium which upsets her fiance. She is so unsettled that she accepts her friends invitation to come out West and this is when she meets Cameron who needs a new nanny for Andy. And when they met - wow! Blane's Nanny: Blane is a dragon shifter out in the open for all to see at the cinema. he's a bit of a playboy holding extravagant parties on his yacht and basically doing as he pleases. Don't get me wrong. He is a generous man with not a mean bone in his body. he's also alpha male and gorgeous. At least most women think so apart from his assistant, Courtney, who just ignores as best she can how lovely he is as she is keeping him on track and organised so he is where he should be at the appropriate time and everything runs smoothly in his life. But she's only there till she makes enough money to leave and go to college - he doesn't know this. So when a baby dragon is left on his doorstep who does Blaine turn to and is she prepared to help him now? It's rather difficult for me to choose which is my favourite of these, but if I had to then my choice would be Cameron's Nanny. All fun reads that keep you turning page after page and I certainly didn't want to put the books down until I'd finished then all. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. However, as I enjoyed them so much I purchased my own copy of this terrific collection. Most Definitely Recommended
A STEAMY, suspenseful paranormal collection destined to be an epic READERS’ FAVORITE! Author Meg Ripley has what it takes to get readers involved and loving her quirky, flawed, but good-hearted characters and I’ve been honored to read the four novellas which make up the complete collection of “BEVERLY HILLS DRAGONS”. In each story, the fact that those characters were also paranormal didn’t really make that much difference, except for the one or two scenes that become REALLY important – but you’ll have to buy the collection, “BEVERLY HILLS DRAGONS,” to hear more about that! Back to the characterization – which is marvelous BTW, as author Ripley leads her readers through a variety of scenes and circumstances, so readers can determine if a particular character is kind-hearted or grouchy, rather than being told so in an author’s narrative. This voyage of discovering the characters allows readers to be inspired, admire, abhor or connect to a particular character as I connected to Brianna in “DAMIEN’S NANNY.” She made me smile, and although it may have not been on purpose, I could hear her Irish lilt as I read the dialogue! Additionally, Ripley’s use of dual narration had me rapidly falling in love with both Cameron’s and Samantha’s characters from “CAMERON’S NANNY.” Then adding little Andy to the mix was sheer genius! (Who doesn’t just melt when a 5-year-old flashes puppy-dog eyes??) In fact, all of the novellas within this collection are ENTICING, exquisitely romantic and a slow burn towards a STEAMY end. Written in Ripley’s captivating and descriptive prose their character-centered plots allow readers to experience the positive transitions of the children involved when each nanny is just the right match for the family involved. Like watching Jessica and Johnathan bloom out of their shells in the story of “JACKSON’S NANNY.” Also, readers get a taste of the Hollywood charm as each of the males in these Epic paranormal tales is part of the scene, either directing, producing, or being the A-list movie star in a parallel world where shifters are an accepted part of life on Earth! Within some realistic and some highly unexpected twists, the stories collected in “BEVERLY HILLS DRAGONS” will delight readers with romances they can root for as they are worth the cost of admission at any price. While “BLANE’S NANNY” is my favorite of the titles included in Ripley’s series, I STRONGLY suggest that you purchase your copy today to see which story your personal favorite will be! While I voluntarily read a copy of “BEVERLY HILLS DRAGONS” and this is my honest and voluntary 5+STAR review, this is one feel-good collection I plan to purchase and place in the FAVORITES collection of my Kindle to be read again and again. I STRONGLY suggest you get your copy of “BEVERLY HILLS DRAGONS” today. Happy pages! 😉
I have voluntarily reviewed these stories previously, they are highly entertaining.
Damien's Nanny This is a wonderful story, it's well-written with a really sweet storyline. It's quick to read with a HEA. Brianna comes to LA from Ireland to be a nanny to a wonderful little girl, her daddy is a sexy dragon shifter as well as working in the music industry which is what Brianna dreams to do. Damien has a cheating vengeful ex wife, and while the rumors are flying about Damien and Brianna keep their feelings for each other unknown until danger strikes.
This book kept me entertained and wanting to know what happens. Loved it.
Jackson's Nanny This is the second story in the Beverly Hills Dragons series, it can be read as a standalone but I think it's best to read book one first, as some characters are in this one. Jackson Casey is a successful club owner, single father and a dragon shifter, he's in desperate need of a nanny for his two children, Cathy Brennan comes highly recommended by a friend, but can this sexy human woman cope with the two wild children. When danger comes into play this big hearted woman proves she fits into the family and is a perfect match for Jackson. I can't wait to see what else Meg Ripley has for us....
Blane's Nanny Oh my, this is definitely a case of not seeing what was right in front of him the whole time. Blane has had Courtney as his assistant for a couple years now, but didn't realize how much this spunky dragon shifter does for him until a a baby girl turns up on his doorstep as his daughter. Courtney steps in to look after the beautiful baby and soon helps him with a stalker and then creeps into his heart.
A wonderful well-written story, great memories of the 80s. Highly entertaining story.
Cameron's Nanny This is another good story in the Beverly Hills Dragons series, it can be read as a standalone story. Cameron's a single dad after the passing of his wife, now his long-term nanny is leaving and his son is in need of a new one that can help him. He meets Samantha, a nursery school teacher and a medium who is need to start over from her home town. The chemistry between them is sizzling and she falls instantly for little Andy as well. There is lots going on in Samantha's life but meeting this family is the best thing so far. Definitely entertaining, wonderful characters.
Damien's Nanny Good quick read if you have a hour or so. Damien has just divorced and has a daughter to take care of. He decides to hire a nanny for her so he can be at work. Brianna lives in Ireland and wants to be a singer one day and wants to go to America. When offer a job as a au pair position, and can't wait to go to America to do this job and maybe send a new demo out of her singing. Will Damien keep her as a nanny after 30 days? What will he do if he finds out she wants to sing? Will Brianna use him? Will she work out will for the nanny position? Will something happen between the two.
Jackson's Nanny Good short read. Cathy is from Ireland and her job is going no where. Her best friend calls to see if she want to be a nanny. Jackson runs nightclubs at night and another club owner wants his one of his business. Cathy comes to work for him and now not sure if she should have. Can she handle being his nanny? Can she show the kids how to be proper? Why does Jackson not help? Jackson thinks his kids can do whatever, but can he change his attitude? What does he think of his nanny doing what she is with his kids
Blane's Nanny Good short read. Courtney and Blane's Life are so different. Blane is a actor, who only wants to party. Courtney is his personal assistant. She does so much for him, that we don’t know if he can do anything on his own. Then one day they get a surprise. What will they do? Can Blane settle down to handle? Courtney have to deal with this too? Can Courtney deal with this too? What about this stalker?
Cameron's Nanny A quick read with feelings of miss understood and wanting acceptance. Samantha is a medium that her small town doesn't understand. She is leaving to go stay with her friend that is a dragon and start over. Cameron has lost his wife and now the only person who has been taking care of his son is leaving him too. Cameron is a famous film director. What will he do for a nanny? Will Sam's friend be able to help her get a job? What will happen when they find out the truth about her? What happens when Cameron finds out about her? Can the sparks lead to anything?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Damien's Nanny This story centers around Brianna, a young Irish woman with dreams of making it big in the music industry. The descriptive characterizations provided by the author are fabulous and in depth. There is tension in the plot created by an ex-wife and the Hollywood rumor mill. The sex scene doesn't occur until the latter part of the book and is tastefully handled, not graphic or vulgar. I loved the conclusion and the description of joyous celebration of one small child.
Jackson's Nanny In this story, Jackson's wife decides to "go find herself" and dispenses with the entire family. Brianna's friend Cathy is brought in as the nanny to Jackson's 2 children. As the plot progresses, there are threats to his businesses that Jackson must counteract. When the threat turns personal, Cathy and the children become pawns. The author has written a wonderful book with strong characters. There is some steam in the romance but tastefully written. A HEA ending and a feel-good contemporary romance.
Blane's Nanny Blane is a high profile actor who has a baby left on his doorstep. Courtney, his personal assistant, happens to be at his home when the baby is discovered. Toss in a psycho stalker and you have the making of a great story, and the author does a great job with all the components. She delivers the HEA ending in a slightly heated romance.
Cameron's Nanny Of all the books in this series, this one was my favorite. Cameron is a widower in need of a nanny. Samantha is no dragon but a young woman with a deep secret. Her visions have become all too real and affect her waking life. Because this book ventures into more paranormal themes, it stands out from the others. The problems between Cameron and Samantha are resolved in an unusual and satisfactory manner.
This box-set contains all four books in this series. I read and reviewed them separately. My ratings were split 50/50 on 4-star and 5-star so I guess this would make the set a 41/2-star. Below are my individual reviews....
"Damien's Nanny": This is the first story in Ms. Ripley's new series "Beverly Hills Dragons". If the rest are as good as this one, we are in for a treat. The story-line is very believable. Except for the dragon part, Damien could be any successful man looking for a way to care for his daughter. Brianna is like lots of girls with dreams of making it big. Bring the two together for a HEA....if they can get past the evil ex-wife. Like I said- believable.
"Jackson's Nanny": Ms. Ripley has another winner on her hands. Jackson finds himself in need of some help raising his children. Taking the advice of a friend, he hires Cathy as the nanny. The two definitely butt heads at first. As they grow closer, an enemy of Jackson's strikes. What happens? I refuse to spoil the book for you so read to find out.
"Blane's Nanny": Under his nose... Although this is the third book in the series it can be read as a standalone. Ms. Ripley did a wonderful job showing how one moment in time can completely change a person. She also reinforced the fact that sometimes what you really need is under your nose all along.
"Cameron's Nanny": Once again Ms. Ripley manages to pack a whole lot of emotion in a short story. I'll admit I was skeptical about this series when I first started it. Dragons in the 1980's.... but I truly love it! While I love both Cameron and Samantha, it was little Andy that stole my heart.

Terrific stories about Dragon shifters falling for their nannies
Damien's Nanny-- Damian had just got divorced and has custody of his daughter, Stephanie. He hires a nanny who is also a dragon shifter named Brianna. Damien ex-wife it's making all sorts of trouble for him. Will you do something about the attraction he feels for Brianna?
Jackson's Nanny-- Brianna's friend, Cathy, took the job at Jackson's nanny for his two kids. Their mother just left them to go off on her own. Cathy and the two kids are kidnapped by a dragon named Babcock to force Jackson to selling these two clubs. Can he save them?
Blane's Nanny-- Courtney is Blane's personal assistant, who helps him with everything until the day that the baby arrived in a basket. However, Blane has the stalker. Will they ever get rid of the stalker?
Cameron's Nanny-- Cameron is the director who produces Blane's movies. Samantha used to be a teacher of preschool that move to California and she is best friend with Blane's sister. Cameron son it's called Andy and he has the problem with stuttering. Samantha is the nanny who is special because she also is a medium, seeing dead people ever since she was a child. Will is Cameron and Samantha end up together?
These four dragons shifters knows each other and are strong personalities who love their children and their nannies. Each story is unique and different in the characters and the plot. They relate to one another and are added at the stories relate to one another. I like that in this stories that shows the relationship but are stand-alone. These stories are sold separately oh, but I'm glad they're sold as a bundle. The author is very creative in blending these friends together. She makes them very relatable and believable. I highly recommend the stores
This is an OK set of dragon shifter romance novellas, but they are all a bit too short to have enough character development. There is some backstory on the characters, but not enough for my taste. Since the stories are so short, the romances are a bit too much instalove for me. In each story, the h goes to work for the H, they have a few issues at first, then all of a sudden they are in love. It just wasn't very believable. Each story was basically the same, with minor differences in the issues faced by the h/H -- this made the stories seem a bit repetitive by the time I'd read all 4 of them. My rating is 3 stars for the set.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
Four very good well written stories that I enjoyed reading. These are the stories in the set. Damien's Nanny = Dragon shifter Damien Van Buren, his daughter Stephanie and Brianna Murphy's story had me turning pages. Jackson's Nanny = Cathy Brennan's best friend Brianna phones her and tell her of a job in Beverly Hills as a nanny, Cathy takes it. Jackson Casey is the father of two precious children Jonathan and Jessica and they are who Cathy will be looking after. There is suspense, drama, danger, kidnapping, and a very evil man. Blane's Nanny = Courtney and Blane's story came alive after baby Amanda is left on Blane's doorstep. There is suspense, drama, danger, a baby that needs her dad to love her, and romance. And Cameron's Nanny = Cameron Collins and Samantha Parker's story is well-written and a story I was not putting down until I was finished. This mini review is part of a listicle by Erin that can be read in its entirety at The Smut Report
Folks, I’m pretty sure that Holly found this series for me when I was on a dragon binge last winter and it is wild. There are plenty of questionable goings on in these books; HOWEVER, they are about dragon shifters falling in love with their nannies and they are all set in the 80s. Are they paternalistic as hell? Yes! But they are also absolutely bonkers! Blue eyeshadow! Perms! Crimping irons! Scrunchies! Denim jackets! Ridiculously OTT climactic moments! I can’t exactly recommend them, but I totally kept reading them because what even is this?
I’m fairly new to the shifter romance genre, but I always enjoy books from this author. This box set contains four stories involving four sizzling hot dragons finding their way as single dads and discovering love where they least expect it. Each story is very loosely tied to the next by some cross-over characters but each also works as a standalone book. Each story is unique, with intriguing and endearing characters and lots of shifter action and passionate romance. This box set has it all for fans of the shifter genre - a little action and suspense, a lot of humour, loads of steamy romance and some adorably cute children. Add in four hot, sexy, alpha dragons and the strong, feisty and sassy women who steal their hearts and you have a charming and entertaining set of dragon shifter romances!

Who could ask for more. Book 3-This is a cute book. More dragons and more babies. This book focuses on Blane and his personal assistant Courtney. You get a stalker, parties and one awesome assistant. Courtney has some good arguments with Blane. They made me laugh. A quick read. Book 4-3 stars. A sweet book. I enjoy reading this dragon series but this book felt rushed. It was not as good as the others but it is still a good story. It’s has a little bit of Hollywood, dragons, a medium and a cute little boy.

And trying to be a single parent! I enjoyed this series a lot. It is set in the 1980s, with only a couple of things I didn't feel were available at that time. There were only a few steamy scenes in each story. Even though each dragon is a single father, their situations and storylines were different, but connected. We see the same characters in the different stories. I liked that continuity. The pace is fast for each one, the tone is upbeat, the storyline is character oriented with some action, and the characters, including the kids, are vivid and appealing. You get the whole series in this one box set. If that sounds good to you, then get this and enjoy!
I really enjoyed these stories. They were well written and had great characters. There were shifters in the stories but, they didn't take away from the storylines. And, they weren't mainly about shifters and shifting. They each had very different characters. The men, women and children from each story had very different situations. That means even though you know what each is about, a nanny, they are all very different, unique situations. I did not want to put it down until I was finished reading the whole book and was left with a happy feeling. That's hard for a book to do but, this one did. I'll definitely be checking out more of this author's work.
I had already read Cameron's Nanny and I loved that story so much that I knew I had to read the rest but I hadn't been able to yet. Having them all in a box set is great! All the stories are a little different so you're not reading the same thing. It's great seeing the 80s from the author's eyes as well and it takes you back to that time. You find yourself rooting for the characters and are so happy once they realize they are meant to be. I like that dragons are normally accepted and are in the public instead of hiding. The dragons can also speak while in their dragon form. This was great!

I absolutely loved being back in time to the eighties! It was nice to read and remember a time when for me (in a child's mind) the world was right! Following along while these 4 dragons navigate the world of fatherhood was amazing! I also loved that they each were strong enough to admit that they needed help for the sake of their children! This box set really has it all, a bit of action, lots of laughs (and shenanigans), and even more love, romance, and passion!

Reading all four books in this series is nothing short of mind blowing. Each book is a stand alone but together, the series was so beautifully written, that it touched my heart, mind and soul. It has drama, sizzling connections, heartache, laughter, entertainment and wonderful happy endings. Just make time over the weekend to do nothing but read this series, because once you start, you won’t be able to out it down.

A really good set of Dragon shifter reads. This is a sweet set of reads the characters make you laugh and cry a little with their antics. The characters have a lot of chemistry and passion. I love the way that Meg has written the past into this series giving us a glimpse into days gone by. As always it is at a fantastic price for the complete set. I recommend this as a really fine way to spend a few relaxing days.

The Beverly Hills Dragons books are all interconnected and it’s fun to see the characters from earlier books pop up in the newer ones. These dragon shifters all work in the entertainment industry and for various reasons need nannies. Their relationships develop naturally, beginning with friendship. These are fun fast reads with genuinely nice main characters (including the children). I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Go on indulge yourself, have a good night in and enjoy this book set
Big strong dragon males that have been put through the ringer by life. They're all brought to their knees by their little ones. Little ones that would melt even the hardest of hearts. These stories will give you the warm fuzzies. After all who could resist these tiny children that are dragons with huge hearts. Go on, close the blinds, mute the phone and grab yourself a drink - spend the night the way you want to.
This has four dragon shifter books that were well written. Each book have the dragon shifters falling in love with the nannies they hired to take care of their children. Each book has wonderful characters and storyline that flows smoothly and kept me entertained. I enjoyed the friendship they have with each other.

This set includes Damien's Nanny, Jackson's Nanny, Blane's Nanny, and Cameron's Nanny. Meg Ripley has what it takes to get readers involved and loving her quirky, flawed, but good-hearted characters. All the books are about a specific dragon shifter, his life, heart aches and eventual HEA, but they intertwine with each other in such a way that they read as one.

This is a great collection of four stories. Although all four stories are about dragon shifters who need a nanny, they are all different and the characters are wonderful and interesting. Two of the nannies are dragons and two are not, but the nanny in the fourth is something else. I would have liked a little more discussion of what she is and what her talents are. Definitely worth the time to read.

Damien's Nanny He's in desperate need of a caretacker of little Stephanie, she wants to get her singing career going... Together they find what they're looking for and so much more..
Jackson's Nanny Cathy seems to be exactly what Jackson needs - a Nanny for his brats... Since his wife left him, his life literally is turned upside down. Si, it's a very good idea to get some in-living help in form of a caretacker... Jackson and Cathy get to know each other over the weeks and months and with some sudden thread to the family everything changes. The sole dragon-part of the book is a little mire accomplished than in the first book of the series.
Blane's Nanny Blane, the Hollywood superstar is nothing without his Assistent Courtney keeping him in track... When suddenly his life is a little turned upside down, Courtney's again the one bringing back structure. A very lovely story about two people falling for each other.
Cameron's Nanny Oh my. Cameron's story is a little bit sad but actually it is the best one in the series.
Sweet! Meg Ripley knows how to captivate the reader from the very first letter and right through to the end with her steamy stories containing enjoyable characters you'll fall in love with instantly. These four stories is no exception.
