Being A teen is hard

I give A Sinner’s Redemption: Searching For My Soul 3 out of 5 stars. This book brings back some memories of growing up as a Christian and how hard it was. This young lady had the normal teenage things happening to her but had to deal with the curiosity of finding out who she was and what sin was and why it was bad. This family was a typical Christian family with many secrets that won’t stay covered for long. It’s sad that even when we know something is wrong we still sometimes need to experience it for ourselves to really understand why. Life is precious and we often take it for granted just to show a good look and this book proves that. I wish there was more detail and things happening in this book because it seemed like some things were missing. I’m also not understanding what happened with there being errors and words misused it may be because it’s the kindle version I’m not sure. Well buy the book for yourself and read it from beginning to end and don’t forget to leave a review.

A relatable story

The author weaves a tale of a young girl who grows up longing to experience worldly life but is stifled by overly religious parents. And her father is a minister. Eventually she learns how to get freedoms by lying and conniving and ends up biting off more than she can chew. This story is relatable. Too many restrictions usually cause a person to buck up to get his way. But the kicker here was that the father was doing his own dirt and the mother knew, sending mixed messages throughout the household. This book would have been much more powerful had it been edited.

Amazing read

I enjoyed this refreshing book. Not all Christians will understand how this author explained her experience. Everyone goes through things differently. Great job
