Ginger is a kind giraffe and a good friend. When in trouble, the animals can be sure of having Ginger around for help. A book about the friendship and other important values that little readers need to learn.
I get completely laid-back whenever I read children's books, they're extremely charming with beautiful messages and with cuteeee pictures. 😍 I'm soo loving them these days. I so wish I could have read them in my childhood as well. And the other reason for indulging in these books so much is because having so fewer pages and providing subtle information about realities in the world, they have got always something to teach. 😊☺️Maybe this book is one amongst them.
So, this book embellishes about one, friendship. two, how animals are threat to danger in the regions of savannah. three, the importance of rain in these regions.
Oh my Goddd, I would love to read more children books and also on animals.🤓🤗
I liked the message of being helpful to your friends. Even though Ginger didn’t have problem in finding food like other animals, she went out of the way and travelled with them so they all can have food and water.
It was easy to read. The descriptions of Ginger, other animals, and forest was well written. All pages were colourful and illustrations and expressions of animals were perfect and beautifully pictured.
There was a nice giraffe who was so helpful to the other animals. Everyone herd what King Leo said. Just the time they were leaving they got what they need. This was a nice book.
A very amazing book for anybody. The main character is Ginger, she is a friendly and always helpful giraffe. While ginger is eating, Mickey her friend comes and collapses by her feet, she finds out that he is hungry and because it has not rained for a year there is no food left. The book also does a great job introducing an different ecosystem, and weather patterns. As the story continues Mickey and Ginger meet there other friend Leo and and fell this heat coming on them and since Ginger is tall she extends her neck and notices that with lighting there is a fire and she spots a safe place where there was no fire. Has the animals all followed Ginger she was the first one noticed that water hot her head and everyone noticed that it started raining. After 1 month the jungle was green and beautiful. As everyone around them noticed that now there was enough food for everyone.
This book can teach children's the benefits of sharing and having respect for everyone. It also showcases all ecosystems and the importance of water and introducing how we humans effect animals populations. It would be a great book to introduce many conceptse needed in life.
Ginger the Giraffe is a story about survival amongst animals in the savannah. I can see this being a cute modern day fable. The wise lion along with the resourceful giraffe was a joy to read. Having a happy ending always makes me smile. I would recommend this book to be read to Kindergarteners through 2nd grade and read to self for 3rd through 4th grades.
This book is so cute for young readers. The book includes anthromorphism, where the giraffe along with other animals talks throughout the book. It talks about the Giraffe and what he does. I think this book is important for children to read.
This book is quite charming. Not only does it share bio facts, but it delves into the important lessons of friendship and perseverance. This is something I would feel comfortable sharing with families!
Delightful story. Makes you realize how much we forget after growing up. Like, savannah is also called a grassland, and lightning can cause a fire in dry grasslands. Sweet and memorable.
