Now, all three books in this spine-tingling erotic trilogy are together in one book. Mystery, suspense, secrets, and murder, along with BDSM parties make up this page-turning thriller.
Logan

We all have certain authors that are a definite favorite, and when they release a new book, you can’t wait to read it. Well, for me, one of those authors is BJ Wane. The first book in this trilogy did not disappoint and kept me on the edge of my seat with the pages turning with a large cast of characters.
Logan, Hunter, and Ryder Lemaster lost their parents when they were young boys and was raised by a confirmed bachelor uncle, Jim, who share the proclivities of a BDSM lifestyle, making sure they understood the rules of safe, sane, and consensual. They own a private island, Magnolia, with a pre-civil war restored home that they use to host BDSM parties. There are rules and guidelines for areas that are open and then those that are closed to the guest. After a night of fun with a group, the next morning will come with the shocking discovery that one of their friends, Lynn, has been hit in the back of the head and left dead on the beach. That will set this tale into motion.
Next door neighbor, Melanie Barnes, has been in love with Logan since she was six years old, and twenty-two years later, those feelings haven’t changed. But Logan sees her as the little girl next door, and not the full grown woman she is. Mel has spied on him and his twin cousins, Hunter and Ryder, and their wild and explicit parties through the hedgerow while growing up. When word breaks about the murder of a woman on Magnolia Island, Mel will go to offer comfort to Logan. But when Mel is attacked outside of a bar, it will be Logan there for her.
The plot will have two people brought together under trying circumstance, emotions are raw, deep-seated feelings have been hidden, and temptation and daring moves will change things and relationships. Life and death situations for a co-worker investigating the case will add suspense to the unsolved murder of Lynn, and now another life hangs in the balance. Logan and Mel will take their friendship to another level, but he warns her his sexual preferences is intense. “As for her not being able to handle his sexual appetite, she relished the chance to dine at that table and sample all his tastes.” “You win this battle. It remains to be seen if either of us will win the war.”
Melanie proved she can be open to Logan’s proclivities and learns more about herself in the process. “More than one storm brewing that threatened the waters surrounding their island retreat.” Is one of their friends a murderer? Did Melanie overhear a conversation that puts the Lemasters family on edge? While the story does not end with resolutions, it isn’t a total cliffhanger either, and the next book, Hunter, will be out later this month.

AND THE PLOT THICKENS
My, oh my, we get deeper into this mystery, and still must wait for answers. The murder of Lynn is still full of dead ends, unanswered questions, multiple suspects, questionable secret relationships, and the deeper they search, they more unsure they become. Not only that, the lives of others are now in jeopardy.
Another private party weekend on the island is supposed to allow the Lemasters a chance to watch their friends and see if they possibly can determine who might have had a grudge or tryst with Lynn that leads to her death. When heavy tropical storms are coming their way, the guest must leave early to get back safely to Charleston, leaving Hunter and the two veteran caretakers to stay on the island.
Chloe Markham was best friends with Lynn, and she is determined not to rest until the murderer is caught and justice has been served. Lynn introduced Chloe to the BDSM lifestyle and Club La Rouge, where she became involved with a Dom named Jake. After Chloe was in an automobile accident that damaged her knee, requiring surgery and pins, Jake told her she was useless as a sub and broke their two-year D/s relationship. Reeling from the accident, the breakup, then the death of Lynn has made her determined to get answers. Meeting up with Kim and Molly also subs at La Rouge, they tell her they can get her invited to join the party on Magnolia if she just shows up.
The plot will have Hunter looking out to the sea and seeing a boat in trouble during the storm. Rescuing the woman and bringing her into the house has him angry with her foolishness. Getting honest answers won’t happen over their two days riding out the storm. Not wanting to give away her friends, she refuses to tell Hunter why she is there. Hunter recognizes from Chloe’s demeanor that she is a submissive and takes her to task. Getting Chloe back to Charleston is one thing, but having her haunt Hunter’s thoughts is unsettling. Learning more about her will have him pursuing her.
Hunter is a player, but there is something about Chloe that makes him want an exclusive relationship. Chloe is willing to accept whatever he is willing to give after he proves he cares about her as a person and not just a submissive to use. Another weekend on the island with the rest of those present during the weekend Lynn was killed will bring more questions than answers. Jealousy, mistrust, angst, anger, mysterious phone calls, threats, and more will keep this tale in suspense. New threats will have the Lemaster men on high alert, especially when it comes to the welfare of Melanie and Chloe.
While the story does not end with resolutions, it isn’t a total cliffhanger either, and the next book, Ryder, will be the final story in this trilogy and to learn who the killer is and why. The story is full of BDSM, spanking, exhibition, and explicit sex scenes.

ANOTHER LEMASTER GOES DOWN
The story is the third and final of the Murder on Magnolia Island, and with it, the plot thickens, the suspects are numerous, infidelity, betrayal, threats, and in the end, more questions with answers. While this third book will read as a standalone, it gives enough back story to keep the reader up-to-date, to fully understand the dynamics of all the Lemaster men and the women in their lives, it is best to read them in order.
Jada Michaels works in the IT department of the police force where Ryder Lemaster is a detective. These two have skirted around each other for two years now. From a drunken kiss at a Christmas party, they now avoid each other. There is an attraction that is evident, but not acted upon. Jada has been trying to get assigned to the detective unit, and the only reason she is working the murder case of Lynn Baker’s death is that Ryder must be excluded due to personal conflict, since it happened on Magnolia island, and he and his brothers are still on the suspect list.
Ryder enjoys playing with submissive women, and will even indulge in ménage scenes at their parties. The one thing he avoids is a commitment or becoming involved in an exclusive relationship. Of the three Lemaster boys, he was the one who married, but his wife Patty died in the first year of their marriage from breast cancer. He will play but refuses to allow another person to become that close to him again. Jada is like forbidden fruit, something he is tempted by but tries to avoid.
The plot will have Detective Combs taking two weeks vacation and placing the Lynn Baker case on hold and sending Jada back to the IT department. Jada will convince Ryder to allow her to continue working secretly on the murder and even to allow her to attend kink parties at Magnolia. It will include him and her exploring, where she will be subjected to bondage, dominance, and his control. Ryder doesn’t see her as a submissive, but Jada’s response and cooperation prove her determination to try and help find the killer. Keeping their emotions out of the equation may be the hardest part of the deal.
Each of the friends who attend the parties on Magnolia will be considered suspect, and Jada will attempt to try and see if she can help catch the killer since she is an outsider to the group. Only a few people know that she is with the police, and it must remain a secret for this investigation to find a conclusion. There will be jealousy among some of the female guests for her being with Ryder. She will overhear a conversation, witness angry glances, and find clues. Could one of the Lemaster’s party friends be a killer?
The story is full of angst, betrayal, secrets, deception, infidelity, dubious consent, danger, and has a shock and awe ending. It will also have Logan and Melanie marrying. There are multiple spankings, BDSM scenes, explicit sex, along with mystery and suspense. With this final book, the killer is revealed and why she was murdered. Once again, BJ Wane had delivered a wonderful and spellbinding tale full of suspense. I can’t wait to see what will be next.

I picked this up to review because I had read the first two books (Hunter and Logan) in the trilogy when they came out, but missed out on Ryder. I was curious about the solution to the murder mystery.
As is usual with BJ Wane the relationships are appealing and developed. The sex scenes are excellent. I enjoyed the characters and the interplay between Jada and Ryder.
I was disappointed in the solution to the mystery. Without spoiling anything it seemed rather far-fetched and designed to get almost everyone off the hook.

The lifeless body of Lynn Baker was found on the sand as the water lapped away the last breath. Six hours earlier Logan was just finishingHis fun for his 35th birthday with his cousins Ryan and Hunter would soon be leaving to go back to Charleston. He could wait to plan the next party of sun and fun on Magnolia Island. Melanie was at her parents home on the Magnolia tending to the garden and hoping to see Logan. Especially since the death of the young girl . She remembers meeting the boys when she was younger but especially Logan. Melanie would look through the hedges when she heard noises and she sees Logan and the cousins having sex with the ladies. Melanie got caught by Logan while she was watching the cousins. Logan told her to never do that again or he would spank her. Now the present day she was hoping to see Logan if he showed up. Melanie was now a food critic for the Charleston paper. She also wrote freelance pieces for various magazines and brochures. Melanie went out to have a drink or two just as she left the exit a strong man grabbed her and. She let out a scream and she felt something his hand go around her throat. Then she sees someone running towards them when he drops his hand from her throat and something hit her face. Ryder called Logan and told him that she was in the hospital. Melanie could not help but drive Logan crazy especially when she walked into his showe and took charge. Logan is feeling once again unsure about Melanie and their friendship. Logan and cousins were going to have another party and Melanie wanted to go but Logan was insistent that she not go because she couldn’t handle it. Logan took her out to his friends restaurant where he asked her to do something that he thought would turn her off. She was insistent that she goes to Magnolia to possibly help the guys find out info on George attempted murder and Lynn’s murder. Logan takes her to their Uncle house on Magnolia Island to see how she could handle his predilection. Logan tells Melanie run around the maze nude so she could get use to being nude in public. She also found a lot of swings and benches for outside play. Logan took Melanie outside onone of the bondage equipment. Logan and Melanie went to the party that they had the following week. She was getting to know his friends and they were pretty open about their sexuality. The only one that seemed a little uptight was Claire. Melanie is feeling much better since Logan isby her side. Logan and Melanie were getting closer and he knew he would never take her gift of submission for granted. Meanwhile a storm is brewing and they all left the Island except for two of the caretakers. While sitting at the bar at the club the cute little blonde sub Lynn was trying to get his attention by calling him Master Hunter. He told her at his party he did not stand on protocol. Lynn was always one of the players that would do anything asked. Hunter took Lynn and put her on the bench. Hunter took his flogger from his belt and made a nice bit of of bloom on her cheeks. Hunter couldn’t remember when his lifestyle choice started to wane. Ryder was helping Hunter pleasing Lynn and then Logan came in. The next morning Hunter awoke and couldn’t find Lynn they looked all over until they found her laying on the beach dead. Hunter stayed on the island even though the storms were bearing down. He watch to see the last boat the had Ryder, Melanie, and Logan going to the mainland. Hunter looks out as he is shutting the house down with the shudders. He spots a small boat that came out of nowhere and was floundering . He gets dressed and goes to see about the boat. Chloe couldn’t believe she had gotten a late start and she knew it was getting bad so she huddled in the boat. Hunter couldn’t believe someone was still in the boat. Chloe was a friend of Lynn who had been trying to get her to the island when they threw their parties.Her friends Molly and Kim nudging her to go on this journey. Now she was on the island it was going to be hard to figure out who was also on the island at the time of the party. Hunter could believe she would lie to him about why she was there. He had no idea she came to find out about her friends death. Hunter was getting use to having Chloe around but he knew she would would be leaving that day but, he wanted her one more time. He still wasn’t sure what she was doing there. Chloe is back in Charleston with her friends at The LaRouge Club. Kim and Molly were waiting for her. She wounds up with their friend Chris and she saw her last Dom Jake there watching as Hunter comes in and sees Chloe getting spanked and her position with Chris. Hunter was angry as he could see she was not turned on and her knee was bent out of shape. Hunter was taking her back to Magnolia with him the next day. Twists, turns, and threats

Ryder’s wife died of cancer before their one year anniversary. Ryder was happy to play with his friends at their house on Magnolia Island. Otherwise he just wasn’t interested in finding someone. Jada worked with Ryder at the police station so she was definitely off limit he also could not see a submissive bone in her body. Hunter and Ryder liked to play with Lynn he slipped out of the room before they woke. Ryder was pulled out of his sleep by the phone ringing. When he picked it up it was Hunter concern because he could not find Lynn. They found Lynn face down in the sand bloated and a big gash on her head. Hunter and Ryder could not believe one of their friends had done this horrible thing. Two and a half months after her death. Ryder was on his was into work and he had the plastic bag with the note that was left on the boat for Chloe threatening her. While at the precinct at the Christmas party Ryder wound up kissing Jada while walking her to the parking lot. He had not forgotten that kiss but nothing happen after that. He knew he had to bring the note to Detective but he brought it to Jada first. Ryder was always cordial to Jada. Jada ever time she would see Ryder that same old feeling came back to her. Jada kept checking Ryder out and it felt like it was unrequited. Jada heat looking at Ryder with hunger but he was oblivious.
She knew that he hadn’t dated anyone in a long time and especially someone in his precinct. Over Christmas at the celebration Jada went out to her car. But, Ryder interrupted her because he thought that she drank to much and he told he he would drive her home. Her friend Staci came out and told her she would drive her home. She was so turned on but it seemed after that kiss that he went out of his way to avoid her. He found her really hot but kept his distance. He had no idea she came to find out about her friends death. Hunter was getting use to having Chloe around but he knew she would would be leaving that day but, he wanted her one more time. He still wasn’t sure what she was doing there. Chloe is back in Charleston with her friends at The LaRouge Club. Kim and Molly were waiting for her. Ryder was on his was into work and he had the plastic bag with the note that was left on the boat for Chloe threatening her. While at the precinct at the Christmas party Ryder wound up kissing Jada while walking her to the parking lot. He had not forgotten that kiss but nothing happen after that. He knew he had to bring the note to Detective but he brought it to Jada first. Ryder was always cordial to Jada. Jada ever time she would see Ryder that same old feeling came back to her. Absolutely loved this triology in a boxed set, it is brilliant. While the mystery travels over the three stories, it leaves you thinking and wondering who might of
murdered Lynn Baker, who was murdered on Magnolia Island while the three Men were there with their group of friends.
Logan: Logan has had a thing for Melanie for a while now but refuses to cross the line between friends and lovers especially given the fact that he his preference of kink is BDSM. But when Melanie is hurt and he cant ignore how he feels, then her work colleague has a meeting with a informant with information about the murder, but is found with his head beaten. Logan takes her to his house, and decides its time to show her his lifestyle, But at the for most he is aware that a murderer is on the loose and he has to make sure that Melanie is safe.
Hunter: Chloe has taken a boat to sneak on to Magnolia Island and join the party, only to discover that a storm has come up and struggles to hold it when she falls overboard. Hunter rescues Chloe, and recongies her as a submissive. He loves her lush body, but she wont tell him the truth of why she is on the Island. After the weekend on the Island with Hunter been her Dom Chloe really would like him to become her Dom full time. But going back to the club she gets herself into trouble by not telling her Dom about her Knee, Hunter comes to her rescue and decides that she is his, and takes her to the Island only for her to get into trouble again, this time maybe with the Murders.

Detective Ryder had been attracted to Jada Michaels however there had never been any real interest shown and as she decides to investigate the murder case even though Ryder had tried to dissuade this idea because he thought there might be repercussions. Ryder is almost certain that Ryder has not a submissive nature and so when the occasion arises and he has to punish her backside he was surprised just how well she responded to him.
Ryder had already lost one love to cancer and had sworn not to fall in love again however, when another man showed interest in her this changed his whole abstinence, there was no way he was going to let another get his girl, he would do whatever he believed was necessary.

Hunter - he rescues Chloe from a boat caught off the island during a storm. Damsel in Distress sort of thing, except all is not what it seems.
Ryder - is a cop. Jada is an IT Tech who has decided that the Murder on Magnolia Island should be investigated. She needs to get in line, since the previous two books are all headed in that direction.
Someone has been murdered, on an island where there is a finite number of people. The three books follow the course of this mystery, with the ending with Book 3, Ryder.
I enjoyed this book. It needed to be tightened up in places, and it was tough knowing what to expect as I was reading. But it kept my interest, I love a good mystery/suspect story. Some of the BDSM was just kinky sex, but that's ok, because the story didn't lose anything because of it.

This was an incredible trilogy, hot, hot sex and not one but three mysteries that weave through one or all the books depending on which one it was. The romance between the three owners of Magnolia Island and their respective subs were really wonderful and each one was unique. Melanie and Logan had been friends forever but he was worried his BDSM lifestyle would frighten her away. Chloe was into the lifestyle but her previous Dom had destroyed her confidence after she was in a car accident and could no longer “kneel” to him and she had gained a little weight which he described a making her fat. Hunter loved her figure and the fact she wasn’t perfect. Ryder and Jada worked together which was one strike against their relationship, added to the fact that she was not into kink and they faced an uphill battle.
What ties all three couples together was the murder on Magnolia Island. Melanie because her colleague and mentor on the paper she worked for was attacked following a lead. Chloe because she was the victim’s best friend and Jada because she was in the police assigned to the lead detective on the case.
These are fast paced novels that draw the reader in and at times are incredibly sexy, at times funny and charming and all through they are teasing the reader with clues to the main murder and the anciliary mysteries. A thoroughly enjoyable read and as a box set there is no waiting for the next book to find out what happens.

Chloe is submissive but really a only with sex, as a trauma surgery nurse she is a strong person. She is determined to find out who killed her best friend Lynn, but hasn't relized that what she knows could help.
Logan and Melanie she knows what she wants and has waited 22 years to get it. The murder of a friend is the catalyst to life altering changes for the Lemaster men. This is the complete series in one book. Thank goodness! I started reading while on my lunch break. I figured I would finish the first story when I got home. Which I did and then started book two. The ONLY reason I stopped reading was because my Kindle's battery died! There is no way I would have survived reading these when they came out individually. I needed to know what was going to happen and who committed the murder. As you may be able to tell, I loved this book!

The complete set is in this one book and I love that! Three cousins turn their island retreat in to a BDSM club and unfortunately someone is murdered whilst staying there. This is a really interesting plot that I found enjoyable to read. Kink and a murder mystery, what could be better?! Each of the three books is a separate story that predominately concentrates on one of the cousins and the female they fall for. Whilst running through all the stories is the murder mystery. A really great read!

I received an ARC copy and it is a pdf which is not ideal on kindle
I am less than 20% into the book and I cannot put this down but the pdf is slowing me down as I digest this!

So good! This box set is the perfect way to get all three of these hot and suspenseful reads at once. Murder, drama, BDSM and romance are blended into each well written book. Each of the books focuses on its own couple but the overall mystery continues throughout the series. I loved these very enjoyable reads that offer lots of scorching scenes, intense emotions and a page turning whodunit. This is my sincere review that I am posting by my own choice.

A great trilogy that's now available in a compilation rather than having to get them individually. I did read them when they released but think that given the overreaching story arc in these books, it makes sense to have them available in a single set. Each book singly is wonderful but they each build to a very satisfying conclusion.

Murder on Magnolia Island is an excellent murder mystery. BJ Wane throws in just enough suspicion to keep the reader on their toes as to who might have committed murder. There are plenty of clues to go around and the erotic get together are a nice part of the story. This was an excellent story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I loved this series and now it is available as a box set! The stories are fast-paced with loads of drama and suspense. The chemistry is off the charts hot and the story draws you in from book one with Logan and Melanie all the way through to Ryder and Jada. Entertaining read, I loved it!

A really enjoyable series
The three Murder maGnolia Island books were a joy to read. BJ Wane includes great characters, good story lines, suspense, and great kink. I'll be looking for more of her books.

Exciting, smokin' hot BDSM erotica. Very well written, fast paced, intimately described sex scenes, with likeable characters. Sexy, responsible, Dominants, strong, caring subs. Excellent stories with hot sex and HEAs. So worth your time and money.

Loved this book!!!
I only read group sets of books. This is one that you will not put down. I loved every bit of it.
BJ Wane is an awesome author. She really takes everything down in suspense and then you just take it for a ride. So good and so are her other books!

I had enjoyed reading this trilogy as separate books, but it was even better reading them one after another. Brilliant writing and difficult to put down.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. I love BJ Wane books. This is a collection of full length stories. These are Logan, Hunter, and Ryder's stories. Hot, alpha men who are panty melters for sure. Their retreat on Magnolia Island is the perfect place until a murder occurs. If you like your BDSM with intrigue, you will enjoy this read.
