Fan-favorites Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf take the spotlight in this special preview for their upcoming mini-series adventure! Check out a sneak peek of their next adventure as two of the newest and already most beloved Sonic characters team-up! Also includes a recap of Season 1!
Review- For a preview of what's to come, it gave lots of information with its story. I can say the artwork is very good but the overall type of story its telling is not one of my favorites. I will most likely not pick up this series.
Wait, who the fuck are these guys? Tangle and Whisper? I've never seen these two before in my life...... they are probably characters that are from the main series of Sonic comics that they have been pumping out, and by not reading those, I'm probably gonna be lost on who these two are and a bunch of important plot points that are gonna go over my head......... then again, when has that not been the case for me reading comics on this website? Also, over half of this issue is just a recap of the events that happen in the main Sonic comic series, so..... that kinda sucks. Oh well, I guess it's good for those who are unfamiliar with what is going on, so it's a good way for them to get caught up...... which I didn't bother reading. Look, if I'm gonna be committed to going into this completely blind and confused, I can't read up any of this, ok? That makes things more entertaining for you all.

Excellent! I don't usually read comic type because a lot of the time the writing is too sporadic for me, and I get headaches and have to give in to wearing my glasses..However, my cheeky arsed son decided to put this in front of me while he sorted his tablet out and said “look Mum the writing can be made bigger, it was meant to be especially for old people like you who remember Sonic back in the day!” 😂
Just as I was getting into it, it had a bloody advert for the rest of what’s to come... So it was ok, what I got to read of it. Thanks, son you cheeky little shit! 🤪
Sonic: Tangle and Whisper has the complete case you expect from anything Sonic. The ending is a little light on dialogue and heavy on the story telling using a lot of words in place of a visual telling. Overall the art is cute and the story has action for a light hearted read.
This is just a short introduction to give you an introduction as to what’s coming next and what has happened previously. Provides a decent insight to the characters and the premise of what’s happening.
I don't think this was necessary to the plot really, so you could probably skip it. I would only read the first part of Tangle getting ready to adventure, but the second part is just an extra long "what happened last time" wrap up.
