This is an outstanding series of book, and now also coming to audio. Each book has its own'flavour' so to speak, but all will speak to your heart. Alyson Santos is a very gifted writer.
Here is my review of Limelight:
Beautiful, heartfelt and totally engrossing, this is another fabulous book from Alyson which has gone straight onto my favourites list. Bringing us old friends and new, Limelight weaves a story of fragility and strength, of stress and courage, of weakness and strength. With wit and skill, Alyson succeeds in drawing characters that dwell in my heart long after I have finished her books and this is no exception. Jess is such a beautiful soul, Mila...what a great surprise! Parker. I am not going there. And Derrick! Thank you for Derrick! His craziness created a perfect balance for this wonderful, challenging book.

Not one to skip
This is one of my absolute favorite series of all time. This entire series deals with hard topics. It brings light to all parties involved. Not just the one suffering. It gives hope and shows the good the bad and the ugly truth. It’s real and raw. It’s beautiful. This is a series I will come back to over and over from here until the end of time. The writing is brilliant. The topics are amazing. The characters and their stories are tragically beautiful. Thank you for giving us this masterpiece.

Beautiful!
This was an amazing series with a bunch of beautiful characters that know how to suck you in and love them with all you have. It had every emotion you can think of. Also if you're like me and love music and poetry this will be perfect for you with all the beautiful words throughout. I definitely would recommend this series I couldn't get enough Alyson is a fantastic author ❤

Wow
I just can’t say how amazing this series is! I laughed, I cried, I couldn’t put it down. Each one of these characters is amazing on their own but all together it’s indescribable. The ways such serious subjects like depression and addiction were handled in such a loving nurturing kind way makes you see life a different way. I hope there Will be more to the series. This is a must must read. If I could give it a 10 I would

I adored this series. Starting with book one I knew this series was going to be a bit different from the typical rockstar romances. They were all loaded with heavy emotions and several heartbreaking storylines. Each book focused on the main character(s) fighting unique demons and untimely getting redemption and support from their love interest as well as an amazing cast of secondary characters. Just when I fell in love with one hero she slayed me again with the next one and they kept getting better and better.

Would definitely recommend!
A great box set! I liked this series lot, I think it was down to the characters and the fact that their struggles were real and it really highlighted the ups and downs of mental health and addiction. Although I liked all of the books, Jesse’s story was a particular favorite.

An incredible set!!
I originally read book 1 and was hooked and bought the whole box series. Let me just say that this author’s writing style has me committed. I seriously can’t get enough. It’s raw and emotional and will have you balling your eyes out but then laughing hysterically the next. Got to be the best box set I’ve ever read!! Just wow!! What a ride!!!

Absolutely love these books - here’s why
The themes: friendship, loyalty, love, and deep commitment. The issues: overcoming soul consuming adversity such as depression, abuse, ptsd, self-loathing, addiction... All artistically woven into stories of love and hope with wonderful characters, music, and sensitivity.

Loved the entire series
Never would have imagined the mental health issues this series described along with great rock bands. Alcoholism, abandonment, depression, addiction, but the will to survive most of all. The songs were spot on. Wish I had this talent for storytelling.

Absolutely loved this series! Alyson does an incredible job getting into the mind of each character and telling their story. Did not want to stop reading until I was through the series and even then I wanted more
