The potential was there, the execution wasn't the best.
First of all, what is the point of having body guards if all they do is fuck you, bicker like kids making you the time out kindergarten teacher and the greatest transgression, they slept through her being kidnapped and it wasn't that they were drugged.
Then, I just couldn't mesh with a society where humans were top of the food chain. It just didn't make any sense. The supernaturals are stronger, faster etc, even in this world, but somehow they are being subjugated by humans?
Cyran was a smart mouthed dick. Maikoh was number 1 on the list of pre-schooler behaviour. Then Asher and Jace being thrown into the mix towards the end and so far only Jace hasn't fucked her, didn't make sense. I didn't read the attraction between Nessa and any of the men. She even initially started off by fucking Maikoh+Cyran more as scratching an itch than anything else.
Then, what was the point of insisting on condoms with Cyran, Maikoh then she just raw dogs it with Asher and from there it is a free for all, for all?
Then she was more of a talk a good game but delivers 0% boss. She was either delegating, mouthing off or being told by Aaron what was actually going on in her own organization when the whole point of her being Boss was to lead and she doesn't do anything remotely related to this apart from the posturing meeting with Edmund.
Then she gets raped and is back fucking the guys less than 2 days later?
There were so many disconnects in the story I was rolling my eyes towards the end. Not continuing with book 2.

Don't mess with Vanessa!
She's young. She's a widow. She needs to find her way as a new mob boss in a world dominated by violent men. Can she do this? And, can she do it on HER terms?
Where does she start? A right hand man. And some personal guards. Oh, those guards! They are as different as night & day. They don't particularly get along but do have to find a way to work together to keep Nessa safe from a rival boss... will they succeed?
Isabelle gives us a punch in the mouth from the get go! No slow burn here! Between Nessa's men & the mob trying to get her in every possible way you have to hold on to your seat! And, grab a fan, it's HOT! I can't wait to see where this goes next!

Cool paranormal mafia RH
Paranormal mafia RH isn’t the typical trope, but it was a welcome surprise! I liked the dynamic of the shifters (especially Jace - whoa!) and vampire with a woman mob boss. Vanessa was tough but also insecure about her role and sensitive especially with her trauma and growing feelings for her guardians. Fast burn RH w/ super hot M/M. The book was just enough serious and light, but mostly on the more serious side. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next book!

If you like a damaged but really strong and compassionate leading lady, then this book is for you. I enjoyed the dynamics between the characters and the storyline was interesting enough that I pretty much didn't put the book down from start to finish. Also, those smexy times were smoking hot.

This was the first book I have read from Isabelle G. Snow. I was hooked by the end of the first page. I couldnt stop reading. It has action, excitement, and a burn you cant away from. The characters are amazing, they blend together to come up with a awesome story. This is a must for anyones TBR list. And I will be looking for more of her books. Hoping there will be a book two and three. I wont spoil this book for any one, but will say read, love it enjoy.

I really liked this story. The characters are pretty interesting. Everyone has a background that lends to each character's personality. The main character has a fire about her and the people she chooses to surround herself with have a uniqueness that not only sets them apart but makes them all fit into the puzzle of her life really well.

This looks like the start of a great series. The main character is a female who is in charge, the author has done a great job with the plot to this book. All the characters are well rounded, and it does seem as if some have further stories waiting to be told in future books. I thought this was a good book and having a strong female lead made it a slightly different read for me.

This is the first book i have read from this author and is the first in the series.
Vanessa has recently become the head of a Mafia clan and has a lot of people after her so decides she needs protection. Enter Maikoh, Cyran, Asher and Jace.
This is an action packed book and has some very hot scenes in it. It is a RH paranormal book and is definitely worth a read. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

Red Widow: A Reverse Harem Novel by Isabelle G. Snow is a wonderful story to read. This is book number one in this wonderful new series and is writen by a brand new author for me. I highly recommend this to everyone who loves a reverse harem story to read.

Strong heroine, hot guys
This had a few typos and missing words but the story itself was interesting. Nessa seems like a seriously tough character and I think I'll grow to like her even more on future books. The guys are hot and just the right level of damaged. Basically, it was an entertaining read and I'm already looking forward to reading more about this cast of characters.

Wow this was great. I love the way the story progressed and how much the character grew in such a short time. Just finished the book and already can’t wait for the next one!!

This was a really good book. I can not wait to finish the series. A werewolf, a vampire, a harpy, and zombie oh my. The characters are well written and too irresistible not to love!!

Love a good female badass. This is it. It is a lil dark in some places, however don't let that push you away. It's definitely worth the read.. Leaves you ready for for more.

I loved everything about this books from the beginning to the end. I loved the fact the the female lead is a black plussize woman. I've just recently gotten in to the RH genre and I don't see a lot of that. Vanessa is one badass female. She's been through so much, but hasn't let it break her. The guys are hot and just the right level of damaged. I think my favorite is Maikoh.
