Disclaimer: I received a free advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. Thank you again, Margo Ryerkerk, for the opportunity.
2ND Disclaimer: I have not had unlimited access to a computer and or internet for nearly TWO AND A HALF weeks. I wrote some notes on all that happened when I read it a week ago and I will try my best to fit everything in that I can in the short amount of time I have on the computer.

Firstly: Ryerkerk's writing keeps getting better and better with literally every new part to the series. I found myself time and time again having page after page highlighted because I kept finding my new favorite quote or relating to the feelings of Sierra and Gavin. The book was fast paced and very much filled with twists, and most importantly betrayal.

Second: The relationships built and grown in this book is phenomenal. Ryerkerk has a way of making Sierra relate to the reader on a level that most authors ignore and on top of that Sierra learning herself and her own interests among her friends is such an interesting transition because in the first two novels she lost so much and in the third novel she was barely gaining confidence in her ability to understand what she really needs over what she wants like in this novel. The relationship between Gavin and Cooper move to a new territory like Umbra and Ardere, Sierra and Callista.

Third: The problems thrown at Sierra and her friends as well as the regents are nearly the same as the last book, it is a continuation in that the root of the problems boil down to Cormac's want for ultimate power. You can see the push and pull relationship Sierra and Gavin use as a tactic to gain control in areas they lost. I almost wished that Sierra would have this unlimited resource in her power to defeat her uncle once and for all. Simply because she struggles so much with the push and pull of her own powers to fully dive head first into saving the Ardere and Umbra thrown in danger because of the greed and power hunger of Cormac and strategically controlling Lorna. Along with the problems and struggles arising in learning how to use and bond with the ancient magical artifacts.

Phoenix Call by Margo Ryerkerk a fantastic five-star read that will blow you away. This is the forth book in the Adere series and they just get better with each book, I would definitely recommend you read them in order as you would miss out on vital info if you don’t. Sierra is a character who has had her ups and downs through the series and this book is no exception. The action and drama is so far off the charts that you wont be able to keep up at times if you aren’t paying attention. If you have read the series, you need this book to get the next chapter of the story and if you haven’t read the series then go back and start from the beginning. Margo Ryerkerk is an author you need to take a chance on.

Sierra might have removed many of her uncle's generals but he is determined to keep on and get more power. Unfortunately what he is planing on doing will destroy the planet - the Phoenix Emblem was broken into two pieces 300 years ago and if the pieces are reunited a great evil will be unleashed and the world and everything Sierra holds dear would be destroyed. However half of the emblem is now found and so Sierra has to work out how to destroy it before her uncle gets anywhere near it.

Lots of drama, danger and politics in this part of the story. There were a number of blind avenues and wrong turns as they tried to destroy half of the Phoenix Emblem and then try to find the other half. There were points when I felt quite sorry for the bad guys when they were double crossed and killed. I found the story clear and easy to understand even though I did find some of the developments a little strange - maybe it will fit in with the next book when I will understand why some things happened.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Siera's power is growing. The gang is all together, and solving crime and trying to catch her uncle is on the agenda. But nothing ever goes exactly as planned.

Book 4 really sets the scene for the finally. I was so surprised with the ending. I do not usually wish the summer away, but I can hardly wait for the fall for the final book to be released.

I love this series!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review :)

This was another wonderful, exciting book by the very talented Margo Ryerkerk! I have loved the Ardere series so far and couldn't wait to read the latest installment. Here are a few of my thoughts on this book- minor spoilers may follow if you are new to the series!

Right off the bat, I thought it was pretty cool that Sierra and Gavin have become so proficient at using the lapis pendant to communicate. It came in handy several times throughout this book, too, as it seems that Sierra has way too many near- death experiences to count. That girl is a beacon for trouble, though I don't really fault her- she can't help that she a Fluidus and her insane uncle is out to get her!

Can we talk about how the Elite Ardere just need to go away already? The snobbiness of these people is totally unreal- but not unrealistic, as I assume there are probably people in high society who act this way. Nevertheless, several betrayals occur throughout the book, and it makes me wonder whose side everyone is really on.

Throughout Phoenix Call, Sierra and her friends are trying to find the other half of the Phoenix pendant before her uncle Cormac does. They seem to be just a step behind him the entire time, which is frustrating! Of course, Cormac does manage to get the pieces together, resulting in dire consequences. I cannot even imagine how this series is going to wrap up with the next book. Dark days are ahead for the world, that is for sure!

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. I think Margo is such an amazing writer! This is the fourth book in the series now and it’s so fascinating to compare the characters from the beginning of the book until now in the story. They main characters have grown and developed so much since the first book and it completely blows my mind away to think about the Gavin then and the Gavin now. Sierra has definitely changed from the first book. She’s much more mature and confident in herself. I’m so excited and a little sad that there’s only one more book in the series but I’m sure Margo will hit the last book out of the park as she did with the first four books!

A Huge Edge of the Seat Read. 4.5 Stars!! 🌟🎉

Well that was one heck of a read!! 😃 Fast paced, Twists, Turns, Betrayal, Death ... No births though, Hmmm or is there?? 😉😂

Sierra & Gavin have settled into their relationship much better now. He's really quick to back her up & show her support rather than undermine her!! She's a little unsure, mostly that's because of all the trouble still surrounding them & her age, if they have a 'forever' future, she thinks so but isn't ready to fully commit to it yet. Gavin is trying really hard to respect that, Yay 💙💖

There is so much story in this book. The political side heats up. It was bound to with the Regent, Lorna, declaring that Umbra are to be integrated back into full Ardere Society !! Calista's presence is causing a huge stir too. An old foe emerges & a deceased parent makes an appearance with vital intelligence!! 😱😉👻

A third artifact is brought to light & no one knows it's true power. How or even if it could possibly be activated!!! 😳 The chase is on to find it & capture Sierra's Uncle Cormac & Paola before THEY can find & unite it's two halves. Umbra gangs, working for Cormac, are murdering Ardere all across London. It's dividing their focus so Lorna steps in & issues the core group with more focused tasks 👍

A truly engaging, beautifully written & heart pounding book. I can't wait for the final book to be available, I actually wish I could've just read it straight after as the ending - Argh 😳 I could've screamed!!! 😂

I received a copy of this for a fair and honest review. I knew she would end up with Gavin but I was still hoping for Cooper. Oh well. This book was so intense and I know the final book is still a ways off but this novel had me all tied up in knots. There are moments that had me holding by breath and I did not even knows. Come on now I need the next one please.

Phoenix Call is the perfect continuation in this series written by Margo Ryerkerk. In my opinion this is one is the best one so far in the series, but also the darkest. When you finally think everything comes together, it all falls apart, slowly but surely. The author comes up with an even more intricate plot in this book and finds a way to keep you glued to the pages. The pace is just right, never leaving you with the feeling that the author is trying to rush you through the story, nor does it ever drag out. There is always something happening making it very difficult trying to find a spot to take a break with this book.

Sierra is really coming into her own now. She constantly grows and you can finally see the person she was always meant to be. It is nice that she is no longer that annoying girl she was for a little bit and is finally matured, yes not perfect but who is. I also enjoy that Gavin is starting to grow some more, trying to mend his broken friendship with Cooper. It is amazing how much character development there is still going on "behind the scenes" while there is so much action going on.

This book ends in the biggest cliff hanger to date, I think at least, and I for one can't wait to see how they are going to get out of this mess !!!

This book starts again from Sierra’s point of view. In the previous books Sierra took away the important generals from her uncle Cormac. Even tho her uncle stays determined to get more power. In this book the phoenix emblem is shown a piece her uncle wants to rule and destroy the world as they know it. Sierra, Gavin and Cooper are racing against the clock to find and stop him.

The half that is in the hands of the arderé has to be destroyed and not like 300 years before in 2 pieces put completly. If the half would come together it will release a great evil and will destroy it all. There is even talk about the second half.

Also in this book the love between Sierra and Gavin plays a big role, Gavin keeps doubting if Sierra’s hard time of committing herself to Gavin is because of Cooper. Because all he wants is to stay with her fort he rest of his life.

In phoenix call there’s al lot of action, drama (as always :D ), plot twist and of course how else could it be politics between the rulers.

Reading the arderé series was an amazing journey, when I’ll read it again I will quote from the Hobbit : ‘”I’m going on an adventure”. So to everybody pick up the series it’s a series you do not want to miss out on.

I received this book as an ARC and this was my review

Ahhh the ending!!! So, this is another fantastic installment in the series, but I have to say geez to the ending! Everything was starting to heat up and BAM the end! I neeeeed more! Lol.

The book picks up where the previous one left off. Sierra is trying to figure out a way to capture her uncle before he obtains some important artifacts that could bring about the unspeakable. Gavin is there by her side along with support from Cooper, Pia, Calista, and Jillian. I have to say I kind of got annoyed with Sierra in this book. She’s so hesitant to take things to the next level with Gavin and keeps saying she’s too young, but has faced more in her “short” life than many do in a lifetime. I feel like I would have the opposite reaction to what she’s been through and probably jump in to experience life to its fullest! So honestly had a hard time relating to her this time around. The book flowed nicely, but I have to admit I got a little confused a couple times when POV switched, but it didn’t take long to get back on track.

Overall, I recommend this one! Great installment and definitely excited for the next one!!

I received a free copy of this book directly from the author Ms. Margo Ryerkerk. Thank you Margo, this is my review.

Her power keeps on growing with each novel and new experiences. Sierra really is coming into her powers and able to hold her own. I enjoyed the drama of this novel; and really enjoyed seeing some of my favourite characters return.

I love Gavin and Cooper; their friendship means so much to me and I'm happy they are moving forward with their friendship...even if it is slowly. This novel picks right up again with more action and more destruction in the wake of Cormac's path.

It was really cool readying from his perspective, and seeing his evil thoughts. The ending of this novel was shocking as a reader because you know nothing good will come of this.

This novel really pacts a punch as the penultimate novel in the series. I'm excited to see how this adventure will end who will have a happily ever after.

This series always has betrayal and lies; and every time you think you know the motives of all characters...you are sorely mistaken. I can't wait to find out what happens to my favourite characters moving forward.

This is the fourth story of the series. A well written storyline that doesn't lag at all. I only read the third book and this one but I liked it. The main character continued to grow during the story and the supportive characters did too. The story is filled with characters you will like and hate at the same time. The plot is filled with danger, action, magic, betrayal and a little bit of humor. This story picks up where the third book ends. I would recommend this book.

New enemy arises. Perfect storyline, powerful supernatural characters. I'm so ready for the final book. Can't wait for the fall when book #5 releases.

Part 4 of the epic story of Ardere, we continue to follow the fight against Cormac, who tries to destroy the empire. The guardians find one half of an emblem that if joined with the other half can destroy the planet. It becomes Sierra's task to destroy their half, so it may not be used against them. Guardians and Umbra join in the effort.
A great continuation of the story and I cannot wait for the last part of the story.
This book should not be read independently - it is part of a larger story and should be seen as that.

Beware of the Phoenix call! Amongst it all action, we have love and betrayal. So much going on, really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the final book.

Take a deep breath before reading the even the first word of Phoenix Call because you're gonna need it. Much like its predecessors, this one is non-stop, no time to catch your breath from start to finish. With Sierra facing all the insecurities that come with her age, she's also got an evil uncle still on her trail, politics within the Ardere society, a relationship that she wants but isn't sure she's ready for, and a new artifact to worry about. The story is full of twists and turns, betrayals, schemes, danger, and magic - lots of magic. We don't get our conclusion yet, so there's another book with another danger ahead, and I can't wait to see what's next for the terrific character of The Ardere series.

This was all in all a good story but I just got a little lost. It would've been great if this book and the book 5 were combined into 1 story. I had trouble keeping pace and concentrating. With all the promotions it felt like this was a dog eat dog story instead of working together for the greater good of the Ardere society. I'm very glad that the Umbra's have been given a chance to be a part of the society again. Not all Umbra are bad and should have to live the rest of their lives in exile as Calista is a prime example. I'd like to see Cooper and Pia end up together as I feel there is an untold story there. This story feels like it has turned into a Utopian society and that is a genre that I'm usually not interested in. I, however, have committed to this series and I want to finish it up with the final book. The writing is good, clear, and precise. I enjoy this author's work and look forward to reading her additional books. I was given a review copy of this book free of charge in exchange for this voluntary review written without bias.

Seemed Cormac Foley was always a step ahead and Sierra was very frustrated with their lack of progress. Both the Ardere and the humans were being attacked and the enemies were stronger. Relying on the only clue they had, Sierra, Gavin and Cooper went after the hunt but, would they become the hunted? The action has intensified, more adventure, violence, suspense and an unexpected big twist in the story that left me eager for the next book. Like how the plot development keeps the intrigue all the time.

Sierra is looking for her uncle so she can try and stop him before he does something so drastic that it could end the world. Cormac wants to be the strongest person ever so he can rule over the earth and he will go to any length to get want he desires. Sierra, Gavin and Cooper are racing against the clock trying to find him before it is too late.

An emblem, The Phoenix emblem that was destroyed many, many years ago has reappeared or half of it has and Sierra must find a way to destroy it before her uncle gets his hands on it and does something that could be devastating.

Sierra is having a hard time committing to Gavin. She knows she loves him but she is not sure if she is up to doing the rest of your life thing as of yet. But Gavin knows what he wants and that is to be with Sierra forever. Gavin is letting doubt eat him up as he wonders if Cooper may be the reason Sierra is having such a hard time deciding what she wants.

Phoenix Call is filled with action and twist on almost every page. I really got lost in the fighting and seeing Sierra use her abilities with air and fire knowing she is becoming stronger and stronger. Oh and seeing Gavin use his blurring abilities is awesome too.

This has been an amazing journey that Sierra and Gavin has taken us on in Phoenix Call and I can’t wait to read the next book in The Andere Series. I love The Andere Series and all the characters as well.

I would recommend Phoenix Call and The Andere Series to all fans of magic, elements and paranormal. Pick up your copy today!

Celebrations may be a bit premature as more information is revealed and attempting the destruction of one half of the Phoenix emblem before it falls into the wrong hands. The action and camaraderie throughout this series makes me not want to put the book down and keeps me wanting more.
