Standalone Series about three naughty roommates and their sexy adventures.
Book 7/100 for the 2023 Goodreads Challenge. My selection for the prompt "A book about a forbidden romance" for the 2023 Popsugar Reading Challenge.
Badly written, yet very hot, smut. I felt like this was written more for the male fantasy than female - there was no background information on any character or situation. Things just happened for the sake of happening. While I love being in a fantasy world while reading, it's hard when literally nothing is realistic. None of this would have happened (in Cym's world anyways hahaha - maybe this does happen to people with more money..... **remembers time I went to a medical student convocation party and all of the debauchery that went on***).
2.5 stars rounded down. Big fat MEH. Free download on Apple Books!
Sold by Gisele St. Claire a hot and heavy five-star read. Wow is all I can say about this book, It tells us the story of Tiffany Harris a realtor for Greens real estate, she is used to getting messages on her work email from men offering her different things, or just heavy breathing, she’s a pretty girl and her phot is on the website after all. But one email marks a change, it’s not got a name on it, just signed with a letter H. When H turns up at a viewing and it turns out he owns a lots of high end clubs, he rich and handsome. When the email turns into reality, Tiffany starts to wonder if life will ever be the same again, then she meets her devilishly handsome neighbour Brandon and they start a relationship. But will one man be enough, when she gets a taste at the club of something different? This book is so hot, Gisele St. Claire writes hot and sexy well, you won’t be able to read this book in public as your cheeks will be very red and your underpants may need changing.
1.5 stars This book felt very much like it was written with teenage boys as the intended target audience. It lacked depth and emotional connections in every relationship. Even the friendships felt juvenile and shallow. I am certainly a fan of quick, hot reads, but this one was completely lacking in anything resembling chemistry which just left it flat and emotionless.
And I feel like I just read one: an extremely cheap, crass, poorly written porno movie.
I don't think I can properly describe how I feel about this train wreck of a novel. From the cover and the blurb, it seemed rather interesting. Tiffany, the heroine, works as a real estate agent. When tasked with the duty of selling a multi-million dollar condo, she receives a very sexy email from a mysterious stranger, detailing all the naughty things he would like to do her. It turns out the writer of this email is the buyer of the condo Tiffany wants to sell and all kinds of shenanigans lets loose from there.
I'll just keep it simple: I hated it. There was absolutely nothing about this book that I liked. Let's make a list, shall we?
1. No Plot: I like a good erotica as much as the next girl but this was...hell, I don't even know what this was. There was absolutely no story line and it was a bunch of seemingly related but not really events thrown together and called a book.
2. Characters: Not only was there no plot, there was zero character development. This was literally 14 chapters of stupid people having sex and me not caring because I had no reason. Nothing about any of them was likeable or noteworthy. They were written like they were actual porn stars: just screwing on page just for the hell it with no particular rhyme or reason.
3. The Writing Itself: I'm gonna assume the author is indie because the book it clearly read like it. I doubt a large publishing house--or any publishing house, rather--would've released this with the amount of typos, misspellings, and general poor writing. There was way too much telling and not enough showing. It amuses me how the author tried to make some kind of half assed romance out of this travesty and yet somehow, none of it made it to the page.
Overall: This book didn't have to be written and I'm kinda sorry that I read. At least, it was a quick read; that is literally the only positive about it. 1 star.
SOLD is an erotic romance story. Mr. Henry Carter aka H is a mystery man who is a dominant. Tiffany is a realtor in desperate need of some series stress relief. These two have a bit of fun then into the picture comes Brandon, a fitness trainer with some sexy tattoos. This story has a lot of twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Scenes are M/F and M/F/M. I completely enjoyed this book and found myself needing a fan to cool off after reading Sold. I love how Henry and Brandon did everything to make Tiffany feel good.
My rating: 4.6 stars **** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
This is a fairly new author to me, but my goodness, what an intriguing and captivating story she writes. This is well written, has a great plot, and is a hot and sexy read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!
The was super hot! Normally with short audios, I almost feel like something is missing. Or there needs to be more. But this was so quick and great I dont feel like there needs to be anything else. Great quick sexy listen!
A short but spicy read, I enjoyed this book and have never read a book by this author before. I will definitely look to read more of Angel’s books in the future!
It took me a few chapters to get into this novella, but once I did I quite enjoyed it. I do like menage novels and this had an original story line which was good. I thought the first sex scene between Tiffany and H was a bit cheesy and too explained at times, I didn't care much for H to begin with but once the story unfolded more he grew on me, I would've liked this book to have been longer as I felt the characters weren't developed enough for me to any connection between them. But if it's a quick dirty, sexy read you're after then this is the book for you. I received this copy free for an honest review.
Sold by Angel Devlin is a MFM Ménage erotic romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Veronica Fox and Liam Sanderson. This is the first book in the Double Delight series but each book can be read as a standalone.
The book does come with a warning “If thoughts of two men at once are too much for your heart, better to leave this one alone. Other than that come join us...18+ erotic romance.”
All I can say is Wow!!!! If you love erotic romance this book is for you! Angel did an amazing job on this storyline. I loved that you got all the steamy scenes but a great storyline to back it up. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series Submit to get Kayla’s sexy adventure.
Veronica and Liam did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would highly recommend this book if you love MFM Romance, Erotic Romance, or Steamy Romances.
This is a new to me author, I just may have to pay more attention to Gisele St. Claire and her SOLD had me very intrigued. I sat and read through it in one sitting Because it just caught me up and the way its written I’d assume there will be others and this Story is the first in a series.
When girls night out commences what is usually the topic of conversation? Sex and more sex or the lack of sex. As is with these three roommates all busy working lives. Chit chatting over pizza and wine giving each other a run down of their week and upcoming plans.
Tiffany a high end realtor is ready to show a condo and encounters a extremely rich Sexy client that seems to want a bit more than a tour. She is of course suitably shocked but the lack of sex makes her second guess her first reaction.
H - you know he’s the hot money man and wants things his way but he’s honest enough to know what that costs. He is taken in by the beautiful agent and wants more, he lays out a plan and sits back to see what will happen.
Brandon - the hottie neighbor just moved in next door. That is in all the right places at the right time. He and Tiff knock the boots is it a one time thing? Where does H fit in?
Grab the book and see how it all plays out. Very cool storyline, likable characters. Hot dreams even hot encounters, a bit of a club scene. Passion and love. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily read and reviewed. Enjoy.
So this was an interesting read all together, and here is my honest review for receiving an advance reader copy of this book.
Tiffany is a high-end realtor that receives an email from some called H. It intrigues her and also puts her on high alert. So when she has to go and show a condo she is a little surprise when it is H that she shows it too. H- is his own man. He has secrets and is a little controlling. Brandon- the guy next door, he just might change the course of everyone's life.
This author has good blurbs, and enticing covers. But her stories are always huge with plot holes and weird descriptions of sex. This has the craziest "plot twist". This story is majorly convuluted.
Words not to use in sex scenes: (Authors take note.)
1. Snatch. 2. Pubes. 3. Man milk.
The main character refers to herself as a slut twice for liking sex. Let's just not. Ever. Ok?
This is definitely one girl who not only got her cake, but got to eat it, too!
I received an Advance Reader Copy for Sold written by Giselle St. Claire and voluntarily reviewed this book. Physically built much like a real-life Barbie doll, the lusciousness of Realtor Tiffany Harris catches Henry Carter's eyes as soon as he sees her Realtor profile, and he begins to make plans unbeknownst to her.
Tiffany receives a very lewd and explicit email from a mysterious admirer, signed simply as "H" at her workplace, Green, a high-end real estate firm. She later meets a rich client, Henry Carter, to show a condo, and it is revealed that he is "H." They engage in a very lascivious tryst, during which he endeavors to perform all the acts detailed in his email.
Upon digging deeper into H's background, it is discovered that he is the owner of a very-exclusive, members-only club named "S," and she spends an evening there via her newfound connection to H. Her eyes are opened and her sexual appetites whetted by all she witnesses that evening, especially for a ménage, planted into her fertile brain by H at the end of the "showing."
Soon thereafter, she meets Brandon Bailey, who just moved into the apartment across from hers, and they begin to date seriously. But her curiosity for much more is always at the back of her mind and in her thoughts. Where are things going to go from here, now that she has that deep-desire seedling planted into her brain?
With proportions as dictated in this story, there is only one way to go...smoking hot episodes, with emphasis on the smoking! Good storyline with a bit of secretive intrigue thrown in for H's background, though nothing is left hidden by the end of the story. I am hoping that H's story is in the grand plan for this series, because he is a force on his own, and I would like for him to find someone for himself ;-D
5 stars overall, 5 stars story, 5 stars narration Her wildest dreams came true
I rarely listen to very steamy audiobooks, but this one is an excellent 3-hour MFM menage. It has all of the possible activities of an MFM book with many graphic bedroom scenes and a little romance. Thankfully, there is very little angst and drama involved. The heroine Tiffany is very likable, although I question some of her decisions. Her lover Brandon is a wonderful guy. Aside from a few cliches like gigantic male organs being better somehow and a stereotypical bossy millionaire, the story was very enjoyable. Tiffany’s two best friends were excellent minor characters. Their congenial banter made me interested in reading their forthcoming stories in this series. This audiobook novella has a lot of bang for the buck.
There were a few possible triggers. There were two instances of possible sexual harassment in the workplace. There was a highly questionable violation of privacy via a secret camera. The book contained a lot of graphic language and a bunch of voyeurism. Thankfully, all of the sexual situations were fully consensual.
Most of the story is told from Tiffany’s perspective (narrated by Veronica Fox), and only a couple of chapters are told from the perspective of one of the men (narrated by Liam Sanderson). The narrators each gave a masterful performance. I am especially impressed by Veronica Fox, who is extraordinary at her sexy men’s and women’s voices. She is a narrator I will search for in the future.

Book given in exchange of an honest review by the author. http://thesecretworldofbooklovers.blo... This is my first book from the author and I really enjoyed it! Her book has everything I like, great sex scenes, amazing alpha males and oh yeah... threesome scenes!
If you are not into that kind of sex scene then this is not the book for you, but if you do enjoy a little bit of MFM and a lot of hot dark sex then get this book now, you won't regret it!
Tiffany and her friends where just hilarious, I had a lot of fun reading about their quirks and adventures. We really get to know them in a few chapters and that's what creates a strong connection with the characters and the plot. I felt part of their little group and wanted them as my BFF too !
We then meet H, he is mysterious, dark, sexy, rich and he knows what he wants. He didn't hesitate to take it when he could and I just went crazy with their first scene together. The control he had over her was something that couldn't be faked, they had insane chemistry.
Brandon is different, he seeks a real connection, mind and body; we can tell it's not just sex for him, he really likes Tiffany.
She was my favourite character, she had no inhibition about sex and felt free to just hook up and have fun, a girl after my own heart! She knew she needed more and when the opportunity presented itself she never hesitated she went for it and because of that she experienced perfection!
This was a fast paced sexy story, unrealistic, but if you can put yourself in a fantasy world, it's not bad.
What I liked: I enjoyed her friendship with the two other girls. I seriously want to have girls night once a week! I just don't have any girl friends :'(
I enjoyed the sex scenes they were steamy, kinky and fun
What I didn't like: This was super unrealistic, which I can get over but VERY, VERY unrealistic.
It doesn't really bring anything new to this genre.
This is the second book that I've read recently, where a rich guy owns a secret high class sex club. Where the fuck can I find one of these places?
That she just accepted that B was 'pretending' in the beginning. She had no issues with it because it turned out in the end.
That they got after only a few months. Maybe I'm just salty because of my own relationship LOL (not funny *crying*) but way to soon.
Overall if you want a sexy fast read, here you go. Would I pay money for it? Not really, there are TONS of free erotica stories on Amazon. This is nothing like a full fledged story I'd pay money for. You really don't connect with any of the characters. The only connection I felt was the girls friendships being strong and I envied it.
OK yeah, I'm not sure about this one. Maybe 2-1/2 stars? Creepy rich dude (I'll call him CRD) calls real estate agent just so he can screw her. He knows he can't give Tiffany more, but he just can't resist. And apparently she can't either. CRD even had a camera installed in her room! And he had a dude installed across the hall to give her something to "do" while he couldn't give her attention. CRD also owns a sex club (of course), and she and her roommate are curious so he gives them memberships. Somewhere along the way, CRD has also inserted this idea of a threesome, but Tiffany isn't sure until she sees it at the club. In the meantime, she and across-the-hall dude have gotten really close when she finds out that CRD basically set the whole thing up. But that doesn't really get in the way of anything -- especially not a three way with him and across-the-hall dude. His wedding gift to them is having a threesome with them on the stage at his club. Such a hardship for him, I'm sure. At one point during the book, it implied that CRD was married and that's why he couldn't give Tiffany more. Turns out his wife and child died at some point and he feels like he'd be betraying their memory if he did more or something. Um, OK. I dunno... probably won't read more in the series.
3.5 stars overall for Angel Devlin's Book 1 of her Double Delight series, Sold.
This was my first audiobook from Angel Devlin and I thought they did a good job bringing the steam in this short menage sexy story. I enjoyed the storyline (I thing with H threw me a little in the beginning and I was happy to see him back). If you are looking for a steamy listen, this one does a good job. Some of the scenes were pretty quick/unrealistic but this was more a contemporary erotica than a contemporary romance in my opinion.
I think for me the narrators took me out of the experience a couple times, mostly Veronica's steamier moments. I think her rendition of the dirty scenes threw me off which her going high-pitched and slightly nasally. Also her interpretation didn't get me going if you know what I mean. Sometimes the way she delivered a particular line felt like a cheesy video you might watch alone...at night 😉. It went a little over the top for me, but that could have been the point for all I know haha. I think Liam did a good job, nice tone and made it believable. Good inflections and domineering or vulnerable when he needed to be.
If you want a slow burn romance and depth of character, this isn't it. If you want a hot, quick, easy to read, very erotic escape from reality, with a lot of sex style book, then this is probably for you! With a mix of f, mf and mfm, to be honest we didn't really get to know the characters personalities very well, but I can safely say I'm on intimate terms with their bodies :-D Tiffany was confident in her body which was good to see. I didn't like H much at the start, he seemed a little stalkerish and I can only assume she never found out what he did in her apartment, but he grew on me. His circumstances were quite sad actually. Brandon was sweet and fit!
All in all I liked this dip into threesome erotica, but perhaps (and I cant believe I'm writing this) there were a few too many sex scenes, but then I guess that is the point and everyone needs a hot fantasy every now and then ;-) 3.5 stars
This was quick but enjoyable listen by a new to me author. It was definitely very high on the steam level. And had good characters and some unexpected plot developments. But I must admit, I was hoping for a different ending. I found this ending to be pretty good, satisfying even. But not what I wanted to happen. I don’t want to give anything away especially since this was a fun listen and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something quick and steamy. And while I realize that sometimes I am not going to get the ending I want, it doesn’t make it any less of a minor bummer when it’s not what I hoped for. I was extremely happy with the narrators though. Veronica Fox in particular has been popping up on my radar more lately and I am really enjoying what I hear from her with each new performance. I didn’t get to hear much of Liam Sanderson in this story but what I did hear didn’t leave a bad impression. I would like to hear more. 🎧The Flock🎧
Sold An MFM Menage (Double Delight, Book 1) By: Angel Devlin Narrated by: Veronica Fox, Liam Sanderson
Sold. The title let me wonder what it was going to be about, but once I met the characters, I understood completely! Tiffany is a real estate agent, looking for her next big sale. What she gets is so much more. This story is definitely steamy. The MFM factor is hot! But there is a great story to go along with all the passion. The characters of Tiffany, Henry and Brandon have an interesting relationship. With a few twists and turns in the story, it has a fantastic ending and leaves you wanting more. Kayla's story is up next with Submit and I can't wait to listen.
Veronica Fox and Liam Sanderson voice this sensual fantasy. They are fantastic and bring all the feelings alive with their narration. I look forward to hearing more from them.
Title: Sold Author: Angel Devlin Format: Audio Narrators: Veronica Fox, Liam Sanderson Genre: Erotic Romance, MFM, Billionaire Standalone: Yes Part of a Series: Book n of Double Delight POV: Tiffany and H Steam Level: Hot 4/5
Sold is a quick, erotic romance about Tiffany exploring her whether or not she would like to be with two men at once. This is not a typical MFM (that I've read) where all three are in a full-time relationship, in fact a good portion of it is Tiffany with one of the guys. It was a fast story and didn't really build their relationships. One minute Tiffany was on her first date and the next they've been dating for several months. Overall Sold was okay, not great but not terrible either.
I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession and Pink Flamingo Productions. This is my honest and voluntary review.
