I do follow this series since its beginning and I do love how it is moving, nearly each Wyvern has found its mate, so I first thought this book will be about Match, but I had all wrong and I ‘m happy to be so.
I was curious about Jett since he was introduced, he was different from his brethren from hell, even if still a cursed demon dragon. Despite his saying of having no soul, he is quite a tortured one.
So here was the book which pictured who really is Jett and what kind of woman can make him fall, and what a woman.
Yvaine is a mix of Hello Kitty and Tinkerbell, she has sometime to bend her own rules to make ends meet, but she also tries to see good in everyone, and fight fiercely for those she cares about or believes in.
It was an action packed ride, full of humor, funny banters, steamy moments, and heartbreaking scenes.
It is so far my favorite of the series.
I have only one complain, as a non English natural reader, I do think there were misplacing and edit errors, while I had sometime to reread many times some sentences to understand them.

By far the best book of the series! Jett has always been in the background throughout the series, and now finally has his own book! This book explains a lot of things that were hinted to in past books and was very well written!! Jett and Yvaine meet and there are immediate sparks - literally! They have to find a unicorn to break the spell put on him and his brothers!! Plus, who is Jett’s real father and where are Cage’s dragons and Portia being held??! When will our questions be answered?? Will Match ever find Fallyn?? Only the author knows for sure!!! You’ve got to read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jet and Yvonne are hilarious. I love all the drama as they each figure out who and what they are. Great steamy scences and lots of laughs.

This book was great. A relatively quick read with a little action and a whole lot of humor. I've not read any of the rest of the series yet but I plan to. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 only because every once in a while there are some grammatical issues that were a little annoying but nothing huge.

SUMMARY
Jett wants a soul shard, a mate, and the boost in power so he can save his brothers. He's at a bar in Germany, smells something sulfur nearby. A glowing woman comes in. No one else notices she's glowing. She sits right next to him, drinks his beer, tells him to pretend to be her boyfriend. She kisses him as 2 muscled men come in. He couldn't care less, this is the best kiss ever. "Ahem." Ninsy the barmaid tells them the mermen are getting angry. He invites the girl out the back. No thanks. Melee in the bar. Jett worries about blondie, but not a punch hits her. He sees her looking at 2 men fighting who are blocking the exit and another fight is moving right at her. As Jett jumps to her, she takes something from one of the guys and slips out. She's long gone by the time he's out.
Yvaine pickpockets to survive. She could take their cash and replace their wallet before they caught on. She'd been close to being caught when that pub had called to her like a lighthouse in a storm. Jett's money is paying for dinner and a bed tonight. Awesome first kiss. She gets chased, sees an inn with a dragon sign she hadn't seen before. A beautiful woman invites her in. Jason Momoa, but with a prosthetic arm, "Ooh, you found her." Yvaine gets weirded out, also feels drugged. But she's being chased. She lurches, the man carries her in, sets her down at her favorite dinner. "I think you over spelled her, heart of my heart. She nearly passed out." "Desperate times. He was circling. We couldn't let him get to her." "Crphrn't frnt whew?” She shouldn't be able to hear them talking. "Yes. She's the only one. Give it to her." The necklace is a shiny black dragon with a green and pink thistle wrapped around it. "Thank you, love. You'll see, it will work out. He's got good in him even if you don't believe it yet. He must." "He stole a shard, Kur. Messed up a whole lot of well-laid plans. Besides, I don't have to do anything for him, he's not mine. I don't even have to like him, and you can't make me." "Sweetness, he's my blood." "He's your bastard." "He's the key." Yvaine falls asleep, dreams of a black dragon. In the morning, she's getting coffee and pastries from a street vendor when Mr McBroodypants makes it a double and she's paying.
Jett, "I'm not going to hurt you, but there are those who will. You need to come with me before the real bad guys show up." She says no, but then the shadows appear. He'll fight but not kill them. She pulls him away from trouble, starts winding through people. Fast. He goes into a building to get to the roof. "I don't know what you are, and you don't have to tell me if you're not ready to reveal your form, but unless you're prepared to deal with the Black Dragon himself, we have to get out of here now. I can shift and fly us someplace safe." One of his cursed brothers, "Jett comes, AllFather dies. Why Jett no comes?" Jett throws her over his shoulder. He runs up the stairs. 2 brothers wait there. He sets her down. "Kiss me, babe. It may be the last thing we do." "Yvaine." "Not in vain. A memory we'll be able to hold onto in the depths of hell." "No, dummy, my name is Yvaine."
Yvaine could slip away and no one would notice. But she's not leaving Jett. She grabs his hand, flips the internal switch in her mind that makes her invisible and runs straight toward the bad guys. The two that had come for Jett flapped their wings and squawked like some sort of giant evil ostrich-bat hybrids. She leads them to the roof. Jett shifts. Her necklace glows. He snatches for her, she moves to another building without her knowledge. Jett calls for her. She starts climbing down the access ladder, the batstritches jump to this building. She falls.
EVALUATION
Yvaine is one of my favorite romance characters! She's funny, innocent, enthusiastic, blunt, a fantastic complement to Jett. Jett is trying to lead a revolution, gets side swiped by love and revelations.
Where did the demon dragons come from? Where did the Black Dragon come from? Why didn't Jett swear fealty to Cage?

He could not have guessed that the beautiful young woman would change his life so much in a very short time, she filled his life with sparkles her beautiful amethyst eyes were simply like her “Out Of This World”. She was so special when he was with her she simply filled his life with love, beauty and goodness with her his darkness failed to exist and it was apparent that her magic and the fact that they were mated would enable him to break his curse and to save his brethren from his father, the King Of Hell. However, first they had to discover exactly what or who the magical being was that resided within her, it was essential that they discovered her full magical abilities so that they understood how to use it in his effort to save the other dragon held in incarceration by the King of Hell.

She’d been living on her wits for longer than she cared and today she seemed to have picked one pocked too many, she had run into the pub and had picked the largest man to sit by, then had propositioned him after finishing his beer by kissing him, then it was as though the whole world had flipped and everything had suddenly become full of sparkles and rainbows.
Then she has had something really strange happen after leaving the pub she had been strangely drawn to a guesthouse, her bag was there, a meal was on the table and a beautiful bed and room were waiting for her almost as though they knew she was coming, it continued to be strange when she woke up and she was wearing a dragon necklace and according to the reception was not even booked in.
Being raised in the orphanage without any family no one had any information about her origins so she only knew she was different from most humans, she knew she had some magic abilities but had no idea that she was special and that she had a “Fated Mate” and that together the hopefully would be able to break Jets curse and hopefully help his brethren escape. She also had never before been loved by anyone in truth until she had kissed Jet in the pub she had never even really been kissed, but boy he could kiss!! it “Blew Her Socks Off”.
This is a wonderful read you cannot help but love Jet and Yvaine, they are so wonderful together and she is making he feel as though he can help others, that he is more than a black soul that in her eyes he is her guiding light, the very enter of her world.

What do you do when you are sitting at the bar trying to drown your sorrows . When a beautiful blonde catches your eye and she heads straight for you and plops down beside you drinks your beer and pleads for you to be her big protective boyfriend . Well if you are dragon shifter you go along and get pulled into a woman who can change you into a dragon with just the touch of a hand . That is what happening to Jett the cursed dragon shifter . When Yvaine walks into his life and turns his life upside down . She is special and he knows that she is his but does a cursed dragon deserve the love of a beautiful woman who is special in her own right .
Out of all the dragon shifter books the author has written , I will say that Jett's story was the one I have been waiting for. I have been intrigued by Jett's character since I first read about him. He is brooding and oh so sexy, you either want to slap him upside the head or climb him like a spider monkey . Then there are times you just want to wrap him up and tell him everything will be ok . Its great to see him a little off kilter when it comes to Yvaine .
Now lets talk Yvaine , she is so funny and yet in a way she is naive when it comes to men like Jett. But there is more to her then meets the eye . She is really strong and can kick butt when she needs to . Also she is sweet and kind and can't swear for the life of her . Which is hilarious to read. I am not going to spoil it and tell you what mythical creature she is but i was in awe when I found out . Jett and Yvaine are fun characters on their own but when they are together they are not stoppable . They are stronger together then apart .
This I will admit is my favourite book out of the dragon books . The characters are so well written and they are complex . You will laugh with them and cry with them and the twists and turns will keep you reading all night long . I started this book in the afternoon and couldn't put it down . The author has a way of sucking you into the story and keeping you entertained the whole time you are reading . I also love that the heroines in the books are curvy girls with junk in the trunk and curves in all the right places . So if you like curvy girl romances with hot dragon shifters this is the series for you . Trust me the Dragons of the Wvyren will have you hot and bothered all night long .

That was such a good read. We’ve read about Jett almost from the beginning of this series. He played both sides, being both evil and good. Didn’t like him at first, until we get to know him.
He needed to free his brethren, they all serve the Black Dragon, albeit unwillingly. But Jett wants out for himself and his brothers.
Yvaine is a pickpocket, only taking from those to can afford it. She’s being stalked, she needs to escape from the guys who are following her. And the cutie in the bar could help distract her stalkers.
It’s instant attraction for both of them, Jett doesn’t believe in mates (well not for him and his demon dragons) they don’t have a soul, so how can they have a mate?! And these warm fuzzy feelings he has to protect and care for Yvaine there are just nuts, he has to got time to care about her, his brethren should come first.... shouldn’t they?
We catch up with Jett in a pub, he’s meeting someone to break the demon dragons curse, what he gets a whole lot more.
We get more story about the origin of Jett, and the demon dragons (who in previous books really aren’t very nice) over time they are growing on you, we find out, that they are cursed, so don’t really have a choice in what they do.
Loved how we keep what Yvaine is a secret until the last few chapters. Catching up with previous characters from other books is always fun (except for Maych the leader of the Red Dragons, he needs his mate)
So does Jett get his happy ending? Will Yvaine find out who she is? Will Jett find out what she is? And will they both be able to break the demon dragon curse?

We catch up with Jett in a pub, he’s meeting someone to break the demon dragons curse, what he gets a whole lot more.
We get more story about the origin of Jett, and the demon dragons (who in previous books really aren’t very nice) over time they are growing on you, we find out, that they are cursed, so don’t really have a choice in what they do.
Loved how we keep what Yvaine is a secret until the last few chapters. Catching up with previous characters from other books is always fun (except for Maych the leader of the Red Dragons, he needs his mate)
So does Jett get his happy ending? Will Yvaine find out who she is? Will Jett find out what she is? And will they both be able to break the demon dragon curse?

Book 6 of 11
An 11 book series is ambitious, but each book is an easy read (each book is about 3-4 hours). With each book, the through-plot is advanced and more characters are introduced. Details and history of the long conflict are being revealed to the characters and reader at the same time.
Book 6, I’ll admit threw me off my game. I thought I knew how things would play out, but this one inserted a new element. It is about a side character from previous books but moves him into the main group. It harkens back to how I found this series by introducing the MMC of the “spin-off” series Black Dragon Brotherhood. (Which I haven’t read because I realized I would need background info from this series to understand it.)
The MMC in this book is a black dragon and he finds his mate, who brings another supernatural species into the series. At this point there are a lot of characters to keep up with and you might need a scorecard. Nevertheless, the story keeps moving along at a good pace.
Something I don’t remember mentioning in my previous reviews for this series is the wit and internal banter of main characters. Some of their thoughts actually make me laugh out loud. The MFC of this book has a block/limitation that is hilarious!

Ms. Aidy Award has just compelled me to keep reading paranormal romances. I used to only read these types of books and honestly started to lose interest in this genre. That being said... She has single handedly sucked me right back in with her incredibly creative storyline, complete with the characters that match to perfection. Seriously addictive sexy romance right here in the latest installment to this series.
Follow along as this Wyvern finds and keeps his mate. Jett is different from the others but in the best way possible. Yvaine just can not get this gorgeous man out of her mind and has difficulties accepting that he could be interested in her.... but if proof is what she needs, trust that he will be the only one to deliver.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Defy Me in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Ms. Award. Trust that this is one powerfully talented Author.

I'm giving her 5 stars but...
I will give her 5 stars because the characters Jett and Yvaine were too cute she was a flipping unicorn and her very extensive vocabulary of non curse words had me chuckling..however I did highlight several errors through out the book that really should be fixed..but I didn't particularly care for her twist on the first Dragon and the white witches relationship basically the first Dragon had Jett with a Galla Demon before Ianna saved him from hell. Their whole story is so confusing to me which really makes it frustrating when reading these books because it makes you feel like okay I should know what's going on but there is no way to get that information. So far all the little tid bits she's released in the stories about their history is very slowly adding up but then again it's not really adding up at all so I would have to say that right there was my least favorite thing about this series so far. But I will continue to read since they're free for KU members..

Shadows and Sunshine
This story was pure joy to read. I was smitten with Jett and Yvaine from the get go. All Jett wanted to do was enjoy a brewski at the local bar and mope and brood about wanting to have what the other dragons had. A soul shard, a mate and to save his brothers. Was that too much to ask for? As he sits sullenly minding his own business, he is jolted out of his miserable musings when a blonde spitfire of a woman enters the bar and rocks his world. Her name is Yvaine and she is a sight to behold. All hellcat witha smattering of everything rainbows and lust. Jett's dormant libido makes a remarkable comeback when he sees her.
Jett and Yvaine tweaked my funny bone on more than one occasion reading this book. It was action packed, naughty pants packed and was a delight to see the push and pull of these two wild and crazy characters. I hope we will be able to revisit with them in future books.

Have fun storming the castle!!
Gotta love that Princess Bride line. Kinda fits for this story. It's a whirlwind 4.5 stars. It would be full 5 stars if the editing were on point. I had to stop several times to re-read to find out what words should have been used. But the story... Aidy has built this amazing and I'll admit, a smidge confusing world but each cryptic clue, off hand remark leads us closer to the big picture. Can be read as standalone there are no cliffhangers really but you're going to be lost on the back story if you've missed the others. The others are great, if you missed the others what are you waiting for, go read them. Jett is entirely too sexy and yummy and he really does have his heart in the right place. I love me a misguided soul, it's so rewarding to see them find their self worth. Great next chapter in the war! I was given an ARC copy to volunarily review.

Who is Jett really?
Yvainne is a mystery to everyone even to herself. She was raised in an orphanage and is seeking the answers to work she is when she meets Jett. She then runs and hides but Jett tracks her down. The black dragon and his cursed demon dragons then converge of them both. Because of the attack, Yvainne discovers that she has a couple other superpowers.
This book was entertaining and elaborated on Jett's personality and what he is striving to accomplish. If you have read the previous books, sometimes Jett seemed to help and sometimes he seemed to hinder the other dragons in their war. Now we find out what is happening and who Jett really is.
I recommend that you start from the very beginning with this series, because even though this is a new couple, you need the background information to really understand what is happening.

This book is humorous
This is book six I. The Dragon loves curves series. It is definitely a rom-com book. The humor threw me for a loop at first, but then I became comfortable with the writing style. Yvaine is a talented pick pocket and a lover of all things unicorn who needs room and food for the night. She meets Jett in a pub and starts her tactics to take his wallet. Yvaine thinks Jett is so handsome and they end up sharing a kiss. She is on the run from some bad guys. Yvaine has powers but has no idea where they come from or how to navigate them. Jett is trying to save his dragon brothers from a curse and the evil dragon. Now these two have futures that are intertwined and they have to figure out how to defeat the evil dragon. There is a happy ending. Read On!

I am so, so, so, so happy that Jett's story is finally written! I've been waiting for it. It can be read all on its own, but having read the other books in the series first, it's really gratifying to see him get his story. Plus his mate is a hilarious, sassy, and inside-and-out beautiful character. And while the sex itself was steamy hot, the conversations before, after, and around, it were more entertaining. It made me giggle on the metro (and I didn't even care when people gave me the side-eye, it was that engaging). If you loved the rest of the series, you'll love this one too. And if you're just getting into the series, it's a heartwarming, hilarious, and amorous tale of true love and what it means to have a soul.

I loved the chemistry between Yvaine and Jett from their first meeting until the end of the book.
Yvaine knows someone or something is chasing her but she has no idea why. She knows she has the ability to become invisible and move from place to place in the blink of an eye.
Jett is on a mission to get the key to breaking the Black Witches curse on his brother Demon Dragons.
Thinking he was soulless, he never expected to find a mate of his own, but could he be wrong?
This book is filled with funny scenarios, some violence, and some really steamy scenes.
Aidy Awards is one of the best "Curvy Women" writers I have had the pleasure to read.
I highly recommend this and the whole "Dragons Love Curves" series.

WOW!!! The best one of the series!
Funny, sexy and no boring fight scenes. I loved this book. I actually didn’t read it in order as I didn’t fancy it but I actually loved it. The one tiny tiny negative about this book is the spelling mistakes. Half words, wrong words and missing words are annoying as they throw you out of the story. But like I said it’s a tiny negative in this brilliant book.
Jett thinks he’s all evil and doesn’t have a soul as he doesn’t have a soul shard. He meets Yvaine and she makes him feel like he could be anything he wants to be. Jett’s character is brilliant. He’s sexy and so caring and loving that I actually felt jealous of a fictional character.

Jett is a product of Hell and believes he is doomed to live a solitary, soulless life. His goal is to lift the curse on his half-brothers and rid the world of the Black Dragon. Then this gorgeous thief steals his wallet and his heart.
This answered some questions about Jett and filled in some blanks. Great story and I love all the new characters. Jett and Yvaine are a great couple, and she fits in perfectly with the other ladies!

I love Aidy Award’s curvy girl stories I think that well actually I know that she’s the queen of curvy girl stories and this is a fantastic addition to the Dragons Love Curves book 6. Wowser Jett is so sexy and I absolutely laughed when Yvaine sat next to him and drank his beer actually there are quite a few lol moments. I absolutely loved it and I loved them as a couple they fit perfectly, sorry guys I’m not going to give any spoilers but if you want to know more then read Aidy’s Blurb well it’s actually a sneak peak. This is an amazing story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

OMG!!!
Aidy Award has done it again! She's delivered yet another smart, feisty, powerful, and brave female lead to admire and created the perfect storyline for her to shine. Pure in spirit and speech (but VERY dirty in mind), she's a very able foil to Jett. He's full of integrity and focus but humble regarding his own worth; it's great to see him get his due in an out-of-nowhere surprise twist. This story is sometimes humorous and always engrossing, and the world-building is complex and fabulous; even the editing lapses fail to take the enjoyment out of this read! I'm rushing to "Surprise Me" for a bit more of this couple!

Biblically, Hell is the grave. According to false people, it's a fiery torturous place where the wicked go. To the Black Dragon, it's under a volcano or any hot place under the ground. The Black Dragon wants revenge. After 6 books, we're still not sure for what. But it's clear he has been convinced he has no soul so he can never have what the warrior dragons do which is new found mates. Do you believe in dragons? Mermaids? What about unicorns? Jett gets to find out if they are real or not. No cheating or cliffhanger and you get the beginning of another satisfied dragon and his mate. Enjoy 🤓

I really enjoyed Jett and Yvaine’s book. You get a couple revelations and get to see Jett come into his own. I laughed out loud a couple of times. Yvaine’s difficultly with swearing was hilarious. Jett is searching for a way to help his brethren and Yvaine is trying to find out who she is after growing up in an orphanage. She is something supernatural, but nobody knows what. The White Witch and the First Dragon have their hand in this match as well, but the White Witch is unsure. It was a good read, but there are a lot of typos. Now I just need Match’s book.

A kickass book with plenty of action and romance done dragon style. Jett is getting his story told and the higher powers will definitely be pulling strings to bring him as his mate together. But how can a demon dragon with no soul find his soulmate? Then comes in the beyond quirky and bright light of Yvaine. I loved this character she was so open and innocent but able to take care of herself all at once. And the whole way she talks is just so funny. You have to love her. Another great story to the series.

Very good book
This is the best book so far in this series. Really like Yvaine. She is so confident and such a badass. I also really like her happy optimistic view on everything. Such a ray of sunshine. She’s very good for Jett. Jett is great also. Very broody but so caring of Yvaine. Great development in the series plot and I’m very interested in seeing how it progresses and ends. Thanks recommend this book. Lots of action immediately from the start, fun times shared between them and several funny moments.

Great book about love & knowing you are worthy of it. The dedication really sucked into Jett & Ivaine's story. Jett has been so mistreated & misunderstood that believing he had a soul mate with what he thought was no soul took all the innocent magic Ivaine had.
I especially love Ivaine's sense of humor and the fact she can't verbally cuss. She was completely innocent but also fearless. She knew what she wanted and fought for it, inside & outside the bedroom.
