London was such a sweetheart, just an all around great guy. Chante was lucky to have met him, despite their differences. Nicely written with good dialogue between characters.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. London and Chante were meant to be together. I was captivated with your details. I felt a part of the storyline as if I were at the dinner or party. Great read Authoress. Thank You
A well written book about love at first between two individuals at different stages in their lives. Meet Chante, a single divorced career woman who meets a younger gentleman by the name of London. Take a journey with me as yummy London breaks down all of the barrier walls of hurt and pain that Chante has around her heart. Can Chante get over the age difference and trust her heart again? Purchase this book and find out, you will NOT be disappointed.
Chante has it all, except the love of a good man. Meeting London unexpectedly sets her off kilter especially considering the age difference between them. Will this be her chance at getting this love thing right, or will she take an 'L'?
I enjoyed this storyline and always love the older woman/younger man trope. The characters were developed and quite relatable. I could see some of myself in Chante and London, he was definitely bae quality! His age was certainly just a number!
For a novella, I must say the plot was progressive and the conflict was resolved by the end though I wish there was more to the storyline itself. The reason I'm giving this a 4 is because I feel the story was already painted out for me by too many miniscule details being mentioned. Like actually writing every thing the characters do in each scene, instead of me just using context clues to fill in those lil tidbits. Example: getting out of bed, walking to pants, retrieving pants off floor, taking contents out of pants, going back to the bed, etc.
London may have been younger in age but he had it going on! Chante wasn't ready for that stallion at all! He whipped her so bad she didn't know what to do! That son of hers needed his butt beat and his daddy was doing a piss poor job of raising him! Brandy was a little thot but I bet she got her mind right real quick, thirsty heffa! I loved this Valentine novella, it was a great quick read! Just goes to show age sometimes is a non factor! Great job Ms. Black and thanks Cole Hart!!!!!
This book made my heart happy. To find unexpected love in a younger man had Chante feeling some type of way about the 10year age difference. London was young but he was a grown man on his grown man shit. I loved how he put Christian in his place about disrespecting his mama. Lil slut puppy Brandy should have had several seats cause London didn't want her. I'm glad Chante didn't let Brandy's pettiness tear them apart. Great book💝💞
Glad Chantae put the 10 year age difference aside and gave London a fair chance. Finally Chantae had love and respect from a man in her life (London). All Christian needed was a male role model to put him in check and get him on the same page with his mom. Brandi was a thot and I'm glad Chantae listened and didn't react to Brandi actions. Love that Chantae gave London two kids and married
Yes yes come through Anna Black I appreciate the introduction of the romance goes to show judging a book by the cover could cost you a great story. That's what impact I'm talking about young and bossed you London on the team Christian isn't breaking no laws. I'm glad love won it seems weird when a woman does it but baby she did that send me London 😍😍
This author knows how to write a great story. I so loved London's character. He has a good head on his shoulders and a perfect example of a man. The way he had his nephew to rough Christian old disrespectful punk tail up had me laughing. Brought the yes ma'am out him. Chante got a great catch thank god she was starving that day
Loved it. This was a really good read. I'm glad Chante stopped over thinking this age thing because London turned out to be just what she needed. London all I can say is wow. Now Brandy just couldn't let the desperation go but she finally got the go t after her last attempt.
Im.so glad Chante dropped the age thing cause London was the man... im glad she gave him a chance... im glad he gave her som some act right cause he really need someone to beat him he was too disrespectful.... im.goad chante put brandy in her place she had some nerves lol....
This was a very good Valentine short story I couldn't put it down until I was finish but this goes to show age difference doesn't matter as long as it's legal and with Chante and London he was very mature for his age she was only worried about what others would say I'm glad about the happy ending good job on a good short story.
ANOTHER 20 Stars for my Fave ,This STORYLINE was fast paced and sweet ...it touch my heart with the age difference and true love ...that disrespectful lil bit would have caught these hand and Change found love and happiness yes .....This Author caters to my spirit never a dull moment ....PAGE TURNING DRAMA,FILLED WITH ENTERTAINMENT...OUT FREAKING STANDING
It was a great read. I love how he wasn’t playing about her. He even got that disrespectful son together quickly. Brandy was trouble. This book is a good way to say age ain’t nothing but a number
Omg that brandy chick is something else she was really creepy like get over it he dont want you girlfriend at least Christian finally straighten up..they definitely had a great valentine great book I've enjoyed reading about chante and her man they deserved each other
London and Chante were the perfect couple.... Age ain't nothing but a number and love came exactly at the right time!! 😍 I'm glad London gave Christian some act right because I wanted to jumped though this book and whoop his..... Awesome Read A. Black
Man I completely understood where Chante was coming from. I would’ve shut a man down that was 10 years younger than me too. I’m glad she gave him a chance. Guess the saying “age ain’t nothing but a number rings true here” good read.
Let me start by saying Brandy the creep type and need that ass beat smh. Omg Christian I kinda understand where he coming from but his disrespect makes him look bad! Glad Landon And Chante Got Their Happy Ending
I’m happy chante gave London a real chance. Although young he was very mature and he was able to get Christian together. Which i don’t understand why his daddy never put his foot down. When Chante checked brandy that was definitely my type of petty. Over all good read.
This is one of the best Valentine's Day novella. Chante' and London were incredible together. He showed her so much respect it was so touching. But truly amazed me was London guiding and showing her son how to be respectful. This book is awesome.
I glad Chante have London a chance. Brandy really tried her best to get London to notice her but it didn't work. I glad Chante and London didn't let Brandy break them up from that stunt she pulled. I loved the ending. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Really enjoyed this read. I felt the storyline was something that is not openly discussed so it was great to see it come to life. Something different. Amazing job as usual.
Aww I really enjoyed this story!! I could understand where Chante was coming from with London and I probably would have said the same thing. I'm glad they decided to pursue the relationship. It was very well worth it.
This was an awesome read. London is the man. He proved that she ain't nothing but a number. I was so happy when he put Christian in check. If my son ever talked to me like that, he would be picking his teeth up from where I knocked them out. I'm so glad that Chante came around. She was about to miss out on a great thing. I loved the way she put Brandy in check. A great read.
Chante and London were made for each other. The age difference came up a few times, but Chante got over it after a while. She realized that London was the man for her. He was more mature than the older guys she dated in the past. He also had an old soul thanks to his upbringing.
This is one of the best sensual Valentine's novella I've ever read thus far. Reading this story gave me so much pleasure, because it was definitely for grown folks considering on the maturity of the reader. It almost had a Terry McMillan vibe, but quite different in way where Chante and London were on the same level mentally, spiritually and deliciously so physically. The flow of the story was so on point that it played as a movie in my head. This was really an awesome read for me. ReneeG 👍
This was a good read it's like u can never go wrong I was in my bed loving it deep chante got her groove on I am so glad she gave him a chance London child what can I say all in all dam it was good
