I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC Copy of this book.
This book was totally a surprise to me I really loved the blurb and wasn’t disappointed by the story at all.
Sarah and her brother Bryan’s story has been hard after losing their parents they grew up within the system but they have made a life for themselves. She’s a respected school teacher and he’s has been training as a doctor that is until he goes missing leaving a pregnant girlfriend behind. Sarah is determined to find him no matter what he is the only thing that she has that makes her life worth living and she will stop at nothing until she finds him even if that means she is putting herself in danger. She meets Fergus while investigating at a bar knowing that her brother used to hang out there when she gets injured he steps in and they strike up an unlikely friendship that develops into something more much to the displeasure of her over protective friend Seth. But Sarah just keeps getting herself deeper and deeper into a life that she knows nothing about can Fergus stop her from getting hurt or worse and will they find her brother before it’s too late.
Fergus is not what he appears to be well at least not what Sarah thinks he is but he sees something special from the start and when she assumes he is a bartender he goes along with it but it soon becomes apparent that Sarah is in more danger than she thinks and for some reason he wants to protect her from everything, it’s a feeling that he has never felt before and he will do whatever he can to keep her safe no matter what it costs him. The day that she walked into his bar and his life was the day that everything changed he just didn’t know how much. But when she vanishes he will do whatever he has to, to keep her safe and claim her as his not just for a night but forever if he gets there in time.
There was everything in this story drama, suspense, friendship and so much chemistry. I was in from the start and can honestly say I really really loved this book so much that I had to buy it and all the others that she has written. Highly recommended read.

This was an enjoyable read. Sarah is looking for her brother. While at a bar she meets Fergus. He ends up helping her try to find the brother. However, the people she is looking for are not good people. So he ends up having to try and protect her. Of course while spending time together they fall in love.

Light forest green colored eyes have the Irish bar owner dazed and intrigued.
Fergus' turn to meet his soul mate. He sees her when he's bartending. Sarah shows up at Fergus' bar. She is on a mission to find her younger brother that she raised. He has disappeared and her greatest fear is that he's rejoined the gang he had been in. But while at the bar a fight breaks out and she ends up getting badly hurt that Agatha takes her to the hospital. Fergus thinks that she'll be suing him for getting hurt but that notion never crosses Sarah's mind.He notices her the next day and starts chatting with her and finds out that she believes he's the bartender. She has no idea that Fergus owns that bar and also a few restaurants. He is intrigued by Sarah. She shows up at the bar but with no intentions of drinking. Instead she opts for apple juice which he finds odd. So it makes him curious why she shows up at the bar. But Sarah doesn't have good luck at that bar. Danger follows her which Fergus gets involved in and brings in Agatha as well as the rest of the guys, Zayn, Ian and Philip who happens to be on his honeymoon with Charlotte. Sarah's main goal is finding Bryan her brother. So her life is filled with mystery, danger following her, a new male interest, an extended family involvement, getting involved with Fergus, and for the reader a humorous book with all the guys and Agatha involved in each others lives. Fergus is very protective and possessive. So he finds himself taking care of Sarah and making sure she is taken care of. During all her visits and the danger that has befallen her, she has worked her way into his heart. She has to get used to his alpha personality but she is taken by him. They all join in trying to find Bryan and try to keep Sarah out of danger. The guys tend to accept that fact that she belongs to Fergus and she is his soul mate. Again there is so much happening in the story, it's a page turner. You can't help but laugh at the guys' antics which makes the book all the more enjoyable. So I definitely recommend this book, along with The Wrong Groom. I'll be reading these books over again just for the laughs. Great stories Emelia Blair.

This is another hit for this author. I love this book! Once again sharp writing and witty humour combines with suspense and danger to entertain on all levels. Sarah is a beautiful, loyal and independent heroine, who is determined to find her brother no matter the risk to herself. Fergus is definitely one of my favourite heroes. He is a charming, smart, silver tongued alpha male - who doesn’t shy away from a fight - especially to protect those in danger. The author again brings back the “friends”, Ian, Zayn, and Agatha (and even Phillip makes an appearance) from her first book as supporting characters and once again we are treated to the amazing camaraderie, loyalty and teasing these characters all share - adding a wonderful touch of humour and a bit of fun to the story. The chemistry between Sarah and Fergus is sizzling and the romance is steamy and hot and full of fun. Add in a whole lot of action, intrigue and danger, along with a surprising twist, and you have a story that grabs your attention from the first chapter and holds you hostage right to the end. I can’t wait for the next book by this author. This is a fantastic read! Absolutely brilliant!

This was great – I love a hero. A woman regardless of threat will do what is necessary to make sure her love ones are out of danger, as it should be; it just helps when a strong alpha appears to make sure nothing happens to his love. This is a story about Fergus and Sarah. She is a kindergarten teacher who is caught in the middle of a bar fight and is saved by Fergus while he is working there as a bartender. She frequents the bar, as she is looking for someone but Fergus notices that she does not belong there. They kindle up a friendship but he then comes to her rescue once again when someone try to drug her. Not to give the story away, but it does have a happy ending to it even though it could have been extended with a marriage or pregnancy. Along with Fergus and Sarah, other characters that are a hoot in this book include Agatha, Zayn, Ian and Phillip. I hope there is another story with Agatha and Ian, but also one of Zayn falling for someone with his bad self. Second book in the series. I loved this romance and I recommend it.
Fergus and Sarah meet by chance in one of Fergus' bars. He doesn't tell her he owns it, he lets her think he's one of the waiters, and she doesn't tell him why she's really there. It wasn't what they planned, but their lives are intertwined, and they don't want to lose each other.
I love Sarah. She doesn't think about the danger she can run into, she only wants to help her brother. She doesn't want anything to stop her. Bryan is all she has. She always thinks about others first.
I love Fergus too. He would do anything for his friends. He knows he shouldn't go near Sarah. He knows he's not good for her, but he can't help it. She makes him happy, like he hasn't felt for a long time.
I love them together. I love their easy banter. They are able to see the other. But I don't like Fergus being so possessive.
I loved seeing his friends again. I love Ian and Agatha.
I look forward to the next book.

This is a hot, sexy, hilarious romance! It is a fast pace page-turner that is emotionally deep, beautiful, witty, funny, and extremely steamy. It is packed with surprise twists and turns, suspense, and witty banter guaranteed to keep you interested and on the edge of your seat. A great solid read that is well written with a well-developed consistent plot, lots of action, and danger around every corner. The chemistry between Fergus and Sarah is burning hot; the sparks are so explosive they will melt your kindle. There is an overlapping of characters from the first book in the “Sexy Tycoons” series and this adds much more substance to the overall quality of the book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Emelia Blair has become one of my favorites, especially now that we got Fergus's story. Fergus and Sarah were funny and super hot! Holy moly, my phone practically melted from the heat. The suspense was great too in trying to figure out what was going on. I love that everyone else also made an appearance and it was more than a passing mention. I can't get enough. I also can't wait to for the next story and I am wishing we get Agatha and Ian; I can sense they're just going to burn my phone right off the bat.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This lovely romance is about Sarah, with an "h," and Fergus. They meet a Fergus' bar. Something comes over Fergus. An intense need to protect Sarah. Ms. Blair's story offers plenty of action and suspense, and some pretty hot sex scenes! Can there be an HEA? This reader read and read to find out. Also, I'm thinking Ms. Blair may have some additional books coming from this crew. The supporting characters were well fleshed and I sure would like to learn more about them in the starring roles! Great book!

Perfect story
This was SUCH a great story. I loved the characters, even though there were so many for such a short story, I had trouble remembering who is who. The smut was steamy, and there is a twist that I guessed shortly before the reveal, but it was still great. I thought there was going to be another twist, but I was wrong. I wish this was a full length novel. I absolutely loved Fergus, and I found myself smiling constantly as I read this. I wanted to throw my Kindle at one part because of the heroine's stupidity, but she did something smart to counter it. I genuinely loved this story, and definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quick read. 💕💕💕

A fantastic well written romantic read. This storyline is an emotional rollercoaster with its suspense, humor, danger, betrayal, drama and great sizzling hot sex scenes. This strong plot and sizzling hot chemistry has Sarah and Fergus unsure whether they could or should get involved in a relationship. They both are scarred by events that have happened before but as there are threats and ups and down they form a friendship on their journey.

This is my first novel by Emelia Blair & wow she writes great novels! The type of story where you're pulled into it from the first page to the very last page. Fergus is filling in as bartender where he meets petite & innocent-looking Sarah, wondering why she's in a bar by herself. He becomes her protector when she's asking questions, trying to find her brother. There is suspense, steamy romance, danger & a HEA. I'm looking forward in reading more of her novels. I would recommend reading this book.

This is a good story that has romance mixed with a little mystery. I love this story. The story has a bad boy who meets a good girl who is trying to solve her own personal mystery. I was surprised by the ending but it was a good ending. The characters were well developed and had a gradual change over the story. I can't wait for the other characters stories.

Thoroughy engrossing!
From the very beginning, this book drew me in and had me turning pages without stopping. Fergus and Sarah are such a hot couple, their chemistry palpable. The story line was well developed and the other characters fit perfectly. I enjoyed "Unexpected Protector" immensely and would recommend it to anyone who likes a strong, sexy alpha. I look forward to reading more from Ms. Blair.

Fast paced passionate read that keeps interest from beginning to end. I believe is second book in series the way main group of characters are portrayed. This is about bad boy Fergus and quiet school teacher Sarah. Sarah is searching for her brother and trouble follows her. Fergus is there for her. Hot intense romance for Sarah and Fergus with spine-tingling suspense included. Sarah threw Fergus for a loop with her sweet innocence. She wasn't his usual type but he couldn't help himself. Has all the good feels. Surprising twists. You must read Unexpected Protector by Emelia Blair, it is superb.

Ferguson and Sarah are an amazing couple. Particularly, Ferguson and his love and caring for Sarah. Add in gang retaliation, kidnapping, assault, murder, and the ultimate deception proves to be an excellent story and very strong characters. Very good read!

A fight breaks out at Fergus's bar and Sarah ends up under one of the fighters. As soon as Fergus sees Sarah he knows she's going to be different than any woman he met. He also knows she's keeping secrets. Will she let him in and help her or will she keep him at arms length? I really am enjoying this series. The main characters suck you in. Can't wait for the next book.

Yes yes yes! definitely must read this is my first book by this author and I loved it literally could not put the book down read it all in one sitting and I'm already ready to download all of her other books. Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

I loved this book! Sarah is a teacher looking for her missing brother. She spends most nights in a bar trying to get information on her brother and ends up falling for the amazing and protective bartender. This book is fun and hot and has a great twist! Loved this book!!
