If Luna thought her first month at the Guild of Shadows was tough, then she’s in for another ride.

Her guardians are deadest on unlocking the information her parents buried in her mind, believing it to be the key to defeating the Serpent Brotherhood. Except Luna’s finally found somewhere to settle down, a home, and answers to the questions her parents hid from her. The last thing she wants is to jeopardize that by releasing the evil inside her.

But she can’t escape her past when the Brotherhood is siphoning the power of the veil, weakening it, and allowing all sorts of terrors through to Earth to keep the guild busy in fighting them.

Enter Gable, the dark and mysterious runaway from the brotherhood. One of the enemy baring the same tattoo as her. The last person she wants to align herself with. But he might be everything she needs. The way to defeat the threat against the guild. Or he might be her downfall.

Wildfire is book 2 in the Guild of Shadows, a slow-burn reverse harem academy series.

If Luna thought her first month at the Guild of Shadows was tough, well, she hasn't seen anything yet! While she's trying to play catch-up and hold her own with her fellow students the Brotherhood keep slipping in and tearing down her defenses. Two of her guardians are deadest on unlocking the information her parents buried in her mind, believing it to be the key to defeating the Serpent Brotherhood. And the third seems to hate her with a vengence and there's nothing she can do to prove herself to him it seems.
Luna has finally found somewhere to settle down, a home, and answers to the questions her parents hid from her. The last thing she wants is to jeopardize that by releasing the evil inside her.
But she can’t escape her past when the Brotherhood is siphoning the power of the veil, weakening it, and allowing all sorts of terrors through to Earth to keep the guild busy in fighting them.

Just when we think we've got it all sorted, and all the players have been introduced, enter Gable, the dark and mysterious runaway from the brotherhood. Considered one of the enemy and baring the same tattoo as her can she trust him enough to align herself with him. But he might be everything she needs- or it could be a masterful lie.

Wildfire is book 2 in the Guild of Shadows series. This does have a great plot and interesting storyline that will grip you from the beginning. There is a decent amount of action and magic elements that will keep all paranormal fans happy and even more steamy scenes that will have you reaching for a fan! The characters are quite believable and they continue to grow. They are continuing to form bonds with one another that are unique and authentic. I can't wait to continue with the series.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Whoa buddy things are really getting good now!! Luna is still reeling from being attacked yet has no real time to relax as one thing after another is thrown at her in the days to come. With everyone being pulled in so many directions it gets interesting as they try to figure it all out though that does not stop them from being attracted one another eventually making it necessary to deal with budding feelings. If the last book was all about Cole I have to say this one I give to Blaze. I so need a fan now. Perfect for fans of paranormal reverse harem books with a cure gargoyle owl you will love. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

This series just keeps getting better and better! Carrying on from where book one left off we are once again thrust into the action as we jump onto this rollercoaster ride with Luna! It’s exciting, fun, adventurous and don't forget steamy, action packed and has some great characters, can’t wait to read book 3!

Book two picks up without missing a beat. Luna is trying to figure out her powers and not get caught my her family at the same time. Plus add in all the mystery that is happening around her that no one seems to know what to do about. Enter Gable and his even more mysterious past than hers and sparks will fly. I am really curious to see if everyone is going to be able to work together or not

I must admit I observed significant progress in the second installment when compared to book one, although I was still not fully satisfied.
Threats around Luna are tightening, with the ominous danger to the Guild becoming much more palpable than before. Nevertheless, even though it's obvious someone is harming the Guild intentionally, Luna is still surrounded by more questions than answers. Moreover, her private life is becoming a bigger and bigger mess, with the forces attracting her to four different men making her head spin and her heart ache. She, together with her friends and guardians, have to find a way how to stop the evil from spreading and do more harm than before.
The story itself develops really fast and deepens, providing more backstory and unraveling the various attachments and links. While some secrets resurface, more secrets become obvious. I liked the amount of action and drama in the story, building up the tension nicely, escalating the feelings. On the other side, I still can't fully connect with Luna and her general attitude. Sometimes she acts like a true hero, and sometimes she is just a pathetic woman missing her brains, sorry. Also the romance, even though it got much better than before, did not get rid of the awkwardness completely. And while I really like the complications coming the way of Blaze, Cole, Gable, and Talon, lusting for the same girl, I can't shake the feeling of some scenes being too much cliche, the feel strengthened by the language used. So I'd up-rate from the previous book to some weaker 4 stars. Let's see what the last installment brings.

Wildfire is book 2 in the Guild of Shadows, a slow-burn New Adult Reverse Harem academy series with plenty of steamy scenes.

This is a wonderful addition to this thrilling series!
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with that adds so much to the story.
Such a thrilling read that I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read more of these.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Better editing please!

I understand the rush of getting a new book out but it’s so difficult for the reader when sentences don’t make sense or the wrong word is used and you’ve then got half an eye on the grammar and are not fully engaged with the story.
Secondly, there’s a fair amount of sex in this book, which is actually quite well written. However, the constant reference to the sexual attraction is not subtle and detracts from the story.

I think this series is different from the rash of academy stories around at the moment, with an interesting storyline, an engaging heroine and flawed heroes.

But despite this, in my opinion, the sexual content and bad editing changes a great read into a mediocre one and I won’t be rushing to get the next book.

*Spoiler Alert*
Book 2 in this series is just as action-packed as the first one. Luna (FMC) is still trying to find her place at The Guild which is difficult as the majority of the folks there distrust her expect Cole and Astra (a new friend). Blaze and Talon blow hot and cold throughout this book. Drives me mad! The claws come out from Coles Ex- Nelle who truly is a right cow, lol. Loving Brimstone - Luna's owl-goyle. Hes such a cutie. This series is hitting its stride now and with the addiction of Gable the sexual tension between all the characters hit a new level. Im enjoying reading this series so much. Loving reading it

This storey is developing nicely and beginning to make more sense and i am definately falling in love with this storey, the more you read the more you are drawn in.
Luna is growing as a person but also she is developing and understanding her Magic a lot better whist finding herself with developing feelings for her 3 guardians - lots of sizzle and steam.
The storey is brilliant with lots of twists and turns just when you think its going one way the authors throw you a curve ball giving you something unexpected.
Very good storey - still slow burn ish - and i still want my own Owl-Goyle.

Luna is really taking things to the next level, not only in her personal life but also in her magic. She is learning to trust her instinct more when using her magic. She is willing to whatever it takes to protect the guild. I really like this story. I'm enjoying how things are progressing with the story and with the characters. I still love Brimstone. He's so cute. I'm interested to see when and how Talon's attitude with Luna changes. You know it's going to happen.

A Superb Story!!!!!

The second book in the series is excellent. It again jammed packed with action, drama, suspense, and a bit of mystery. It keeps you guessing and has you wondering what is going to happen next. It is extremely well written and the characters have grown and have amazing personalities. The only thing that drives me just a little crazy is Luna at times acts extremely childish and does really show her true potential. Otherwise, the story is magnificent and intriguing. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I enjoyed book one, and as I thought, this series is getting better and better. I feel that Wildfire kicks this series up a notch.

Book Two Wildfire starts off where book one leaves off. Luna is still dealing with being attacked. She has not had a chance to settle down yet as things just keep happening. She is kept on her toes and deals with everything as best as she can. Things are heating up with the guys and progressing. We do a heat level up here. Book one centered more on Cole, so book two seems to follow more of Blaze. Luna gets a curve ball from her grandfather that sets a course in this book.

So if you are looking for a good paranormal steamy romance with a good storyline? I have found just the series for you!!!

An exciting sequel with built in intrigue

Luna, the new recruit with a dark past, has been accepted into the Guild of Shadows Academy and is torn by her feelings for Cole, Blaze, and Talon, the men assigned as her defenders. As the story progresses another man enters the scene to complicate matters further, it appears that the danger is coming from multiple directions, and failure to listen and trust each other may put the world in jeopardy. Skyler Andra’s Wildfire is an exciting sequel with built in intrigue and blurring of lines for this YA/NA paranormal academy read. This time she has filled in the background and added more temptation for our characters.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Finally Book 2

So glad to see there was a follow up to book 1 despite 9ish months. Good story. Luna still kind of bugs be with her wishy washy-ness but I really love the storyline and characters. Some typos/errors but easy to skip over. Medium burn RH with potential.

Terrific Read

The characters are so intertwined. One thing leads to another. There is so much action that one must keep up with. It makes the reader wonder how the Guild members and students could keep up with the onslaught on them.
Can't wait to read the next book in this series. This is unusual for me since I like my books to be completed in one novel.

Action and more

So much action! Combined with amazing twists and steamy scenes, this book is bangin’! There is a small element of cheating in this one, but it resolves before the end of the book.

Okay, so while reading the second book I am starting to come around to Luna. Is she still a bit of a child at times? Yes but not nearly as much as she was in book one. I can admit she is starting to grow on me a little.
Can't go wrong with the owl-gargoyle either 😍
This world is just built perfectly, with plenty of twist and turns that will make you not want to put it down. Bring on book number three😍

I have to say that I enjoyed book two even better than book one. This book goes more in depth about Luna and her family. We get to see the relationships developing more but I love how they all develop at a different level and I enjoy what Gable bring to the story..he will be good for Luna but it sure makes it interesting with the other guys!! There are still some things I feel a little in the dark about but I am sure more will come out in the next book! Cannot wait for book three...highly recommend!!
