It was a very good story. I would have done some of the things differently than our hero did, but it is hard to credit the English with that much intelligence. From the older times, that is. However, I still have nothing but Distaste about the English Lords. I have run into them several times in my travels in the various places I was sent by my illustrious government playing an American James Bond type and was treated with disrespect and scorn, as they believe it or not still refer us as Colonists. I in return happily reminded them who kicked their buts and became greater than their Sorry Assess. It was a shame about Christinas Mother, He could have easily had her captured, and sold, and no one would have been the wiser. Murder of a lovely woman was not necessary. But he got his reward in the end, and Christina her revenge.
I enjoyed all of the stories and stayed up way too reading a few of them. Each book has someone to cheer for and someone that you hope gets his due. I have not read books from some of the authors but plan on finding more from several of them.
