Finished this book back in February of this year and I have to say, that I love it when authors name drop football players and put forth the effort to describe different eras of a college or pro football team. And Rob Suggs did those things within this book.
Me being a lifelong California football follower (high school, college and pro), I am so far away from Georgia. But through TV, the media and of course this book I got a refresher course on UGA football.
It sucks that even though Mark Richt did a heck of a job as the UGA head coach from 2001-2015, it was never good enough for the UGA fans or administration. I hope he kills it at Miami as to rub his success in the UGA fans and administration's collective faces.
Yes I'm a grown man and I know how the coaching game works in the SEC. You don't win or challenge perennially for SEC division and/or conference titles, challenge for or win a National Championship then whatever you're doing as a coach aint s*** to SEC fans, administration, and media.
Rob Suggs' writing style and all those facts and name drops he laid out in this book, made it hard for a football obsessed person such as myself to put this book down.
