It’s mostly 3-5 main points, already mentioned in the first book, explained on around 150 pages, but in a rather funny and entertaining way (though sometimes quite exaggerated).
After 7 and half years I am leaving Norway. I wish I could’ve read this book before but anyway I know I would have never adjust myself to all these sad, depressing and absolutely useless social norms. They don’t live happy lives themselves, they feel excluded in their own culture, depressed and lonely. So I tried and after becoming a father here, my Norwegian wife and I are moving to South America to break that cycle, we don’t want our daughter to conform to these suffocating social conventions and just be herself, be loud, be warm, be happy, be her true self!
I ve been living in Norway for a few years now....i wish i knew all these things from before....a lot more would make sense ... love the format of the book and the humor
This book repeats too much the previous book I had read from this series (the social guidebook to norway - an illustrated introduction), which was pretty disappointing.
