Rod Loy's unique approach to leadership has led him to and through many exciting adventures, one of which was working as a volunteer lifeguard at a water park. Rod pastors a church in North Little Rock. He and his wife Cindy have two sons, Parker and Tyler.
Immediate Obedience released in summer 2014. His previous book, 3 Questions: A Powerful Grid to Help You Live by the Grace of God, was released in 2011.
This book is filled with wisdom and practicality. Rod writes with the depth and integrity of living these principles out and with the heart of a pastor. Having spent time with Pastor Rod, this book felt like sitting down and having a conversation with him. Every time I have a conversation with him, I leave better, and this book is no different. You will be better by reading and living this.
I absolutely loved this book. I listened to the podcast where he basically gives the contents of the book as a lecture/sermon twice before finally reading the book. The book goes into much more detail. If you're in leadership, especially church leadership, this should be required reading.
