For generations, demons have been ritually bound against their will to serve exorcist-warriors in a great battle against the forces of Hell. Now a demon has entered our realm to serve voluntarily... But why?
The latest chapter in this webcomic reveals some crucial backstory, with flashbacks to WWI. We also get plenty of cuddly times with a boy and his demon. And did I mention that it's NSFW? I love the artwork, and appreciate how the story continues to develop in complexity. If/when this is released as a book, I'll be first in line to buy it.
Same review and rating for all the first three parts, because I started and I couldn’t stop until I finished everything available at the moment (which is somewhere into the fourth part).
Full disclosure: my entire experience with comics centers around being raised on Walt Disney themed comics and later on spending several years reading any manga I could put my hands on. That’s to say, I’m no expert and I’m used to very different kinds of drawings than the ones I found in Exorcism Academy, but I loved it anyway. I loved the art and I loved the story, which is only getting better as it progresses. My only real complaint is that I can’t buy my own copy, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the future. My other complaint is that I’ll have to wait for the biweekly updates from now on, but I’m choosing to consider a pro the fact that I’m very eager for the next update.
Fascinating world, well drawn. Demons from hell as captured slaves, used as batteries. A lot of darkness in this one. Demons treated badly, also question as to the Demon's nature. It's complex and interesting. There's plenty raunchy action (aka p0rn) but there's emotion in this one; pain, grief, hoplessness. Could end many ways.
This series continues to be awesome. I guess I wouldn't recommend it if you actively dislike smut, because I don't want you to get a cock in your face and be mad at me, but there is an interesting story and really well-developed, diverse characters.
Two definite strengths of the author: 1) Gradually divulging more background information, plot developments, and character nuances at the correct pace (which I'd imagine to be especially difficult in an ongoing serial). 2) Shifting between tones (eg humor and sorrow) without reader whiplash.

(But why DO demons produce so much semen? I thought the author told us they were all made by Lucifer and no pregnancy was involved, so biologically... Oh well, maybe we'll find out later.)
Backstory to break hearts and make us love these characters more! But the real heartbreak is going to be waiting for weekly updates now that I've caught up to real time.
