There are certainly some awesome stories in this one but I'm not sure that my own contributions were quite as good as some of those on offer for others. This was my first foray into writing mystery, so was a bit of a challenge for me, and I used my experience in the legal sector to give me realistic experiences to draw from, about how murders play out, why people commit crime, how they get away with it and the kinds of things that can happen. I'm often surprised about the degree of difference between actual crime and what people perceive crime to be, and by providing that realistic element I think that I added some depth to the stories. I'd be curious to know if people thought that my stories were realistic. If they don't think they were, then the reader is probably pretty out of touch with how crimes really play out. Just the same, I think that there are certain expectations that many readers have about how mysteries should play out, even if their expectations have little or nothing to do with how real crimes actually play out.
