I read the first book of this series. I remember I do not particularly a fan. When I got a copy of audio book of the book 3, I hesitate, but I take a chance. I thought with promise of Teale sassy character book 3 will be better. But I was wrong.
Yes the first 50% I am very very entertain with Teale character. I enjoy whatever comes out from her mouth. Her effort to make Kane smile and talks more. Then there is the insta lust/ love between Kane and Teale. I thought it was too fast and not believable. No depth on the chemistry between Teale and Kane. So their love becomes very 1 dimensional. Kane is my problem. OK I got it that the author wants Kane to be brooding quite alpha male.
However in my opinion. Kane is a childish, demanding, immature character. There is no depth or complexion to his character development. And I feel sorry for Teale that she has to works hard to coax him out of his lair.
Overall this is not a memorable read. I feel everything is all over the place.

Kane...Kane, Kane, Kane. Since book 1, I wanted to learn more about him. He was broody, sexy, and oh, so intriguing. Then in book 2, we got a closer look, but it was only a tease LOL! Finally, now in book 3, we got his story and man, what a page-turning read this was!
Teale knocked him on his butt and he didn’t even see it coming. Let me tell you, I LAUGHED so hard at their banter! The things Teale said and did were hilarious! Just like our dear friend - Alaskan friend, that is - Hollis.
Teale pealed the layers off Kane, slowly but surely, and made him realize what life was really about. She was the light during his dark days and kept him going. Just as well, he gave her strength and courage. They balanced each other out perfectly.
I am so sad to see the series come to an end but man, it ended beautifully. I’ve decided I am moving to Alaska and it’s all Kristin Mayer’s fault. LOL!!

Changed by you by Kristin Mayer is the third book in the series and damn was it emotional.
Since I started the series I always wanted to get to know Kane and his story and I’m glad I finally got to. He was always so mysterious and closed off in the first two books that I’m glad I got to read his and Teale’s story.
I loved Teale and that she didn’t take any of Kane’s crap. I loved the banter between the pair and their chemistry was just off the charts.
This book had everything! A broody hero, a sassy heroine, passion, suspense and danger.
A fantastic book and a great way to end the series.

First book I've read by Kristin Mayer & now I'm addicted!! Teale & Kane's story had my undivided attention right from the beginning and I didn't want it to end.
Teale was someone that I felt I could have been good friends. She was so natural and so funny that I couldn't stop laughing. The "trophy" scene was just the best and the begining of my gigglefest. Now Kane, he was something else, smh.... Despite his frostiness towards Teale, she just kept trucking along and didn't allow him to deter her from enjoying her time in Alaska!! And the chemistry these two had was sizzling y'all!! Despite Kane's reason for not wanting to get attached to Teale or vice versa, I knew that love would win out in the end.
If you haven't clicked this beauty, then I suggest you do!! This book gave me the feels and I just could not get enough of Teale and Kane. So so enjoyed Changed By You! This story had me laughing, happy, on the edge of my seat moments, some tears and then oh so happy again! I so love this sexy, rugged Kane from the previous books but OMG Teale was sassy, feisty and so funny! I'm going to say this might just be my favorite book! So happy Devney & Hollis got their HEA! It took Teale to tame the beast or should I say the princess! Amazing ending l think we have a new book series with the second generation coming along!

This was a drama that had feel-good and some ups and downs. The narration was alright.
It didn't hit with hot-meter sexy moments or great banter, but the romance aspect was heart-warming. So...meh...it was decent.

OMFG!! SPEECHLESS!! JUST SPEECHLESS!! Kristin Mayer had me Intrigued from the Very Beginning of her Writing!! CHANGED BY YOU is Kane Foster's story and let me tell y'all....Have the tissues handy!! I was a Blubbering mess after finishing this book!
From the Very Beginning, it SUCKS you in and Never let's you Go! I devoured this book in ONE Sitting since its a page turned that will Leave you laughing out loud and Hot & Bothered at the same time.
Kane Foster is an Enigma of Epic proportions and never a Dull moment when Teale knocks him off his Ass!! The Banter between the two characters are Off the Charts Hot and Entertaining at the same and Not to mention with his Brother's Drake & Hollis! Plus their chemistry is OFF the Charts Smoldering!! It was such a Rollercoaster ride of TWISTS AND TURNS INTO the UNKNOWN that Have your Jaw Dropping several times! It was a Suspenseful thriller and never a Dull moment then when you think it's All over....BAM!! Epic proportions of emotional distress and Heartwreching Aches that will Leave you Breathless!
I am Really disappointed that the Exposed Hearts Series is done since I wanted More of the Fosters...lol....ESPECIALLY now I Wanna Go to Alaska which I Never thought of going there!! Thank You Kristin Mayer....I'm definitely a Huge of Yours!! ♡

Changed by You by Kristin Mayer is book 3 in the Exposed Hearts series. This is Kane Foster and Teale's story. We got a glimpse of Kane in books 1 & 2 but he was somewhat of this enigma....this closed off man who keeps to himself. But all that changes in book 3 when the sweet and sassy Teale comes to town. OMG, how Teale met Kane had me in stitches. Kane didn't know what to make of her and she made it clear " Mr grumpy pants" better get happy and fast, and do it in a warm place asap. Teale sees that Kane needs her, needs someone who can help him and she knows that is her even if he doesn't want her in his life or believe she is it. Their love journey is one full of many unforeseen twists/turns and sad to say, heartbreaking moments yet they make their way through it all together! Ms. Mayer wrote her final book in the Exposed Hearts series with beautiful touching words and emotional feels along with witty humor that will keep the reader hooked from start to finish. Kane and Teale made this story just sweet and super steamy.

This is my first book by this author and now I will need to go back and read the other two books in this group even though this is a standalone. I loved the character development and the dynamics of all the characters with each other individually and as a whole. This book had everything packed in it from the wit and sarcasm of Teale and just her energy towards life, Kane and his Grumpy pants ways, there was a mystery suspense line built in, sadness with many tears and of course the base of it all a love story. The feelings were easy to relate to and this book took me along the full cycle of emotions the entire time.

It had potential. The serial killer storyline was ok. It could have delved deeper into that story and been a more cohesive novel. Instead, it wrapped up that plot line midway through the book and started another story about Teale becoming a philanthropist. I get that the main point is supposed to be his changed heart but so little information about his backstory and his mindset (other than continually just saying he’s afraid to lose someone because his first girlfriend of 1 week died) were given that I just felt like the weird story turn just made me like the book less. I get what the author was trying to do with the characters internal debate but that part just didn’t work for me. I could have done without the part about the little boy.

I’ve been intrigued by Kane since the beginning of this series. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Drake and Alexa, Hayden and Kory, and Hollis and Devney... But Kane and Teale have stolen my heart. Absolutely stolen it!!! Who knew when this series started that Kane would actually be the sweetest and most romantic in his own way Foster? I love this man and Teale? She’s the perfect match for our man. You’ll fall in love with this story and all of these characters and some new ones all over again. Ms. Mayer provided some amazing characters I won’t soon forget. That is for absolute sure!!

I have enjoyed this series, but this is probably my least favorite installment. Teale annoyed me from the beginning, and I could just never really warm up to her. I understand she was probably supposed to be free-spirited and quirky, but she just made me roll my eyes. Because of that, I was meh about the couple and the plot overall.

Not the most memorable read.
There are some aspect of the book that are enjoyable like her sassy character but the whole story just seems a bit all over the place. I feel like the first part of the book was a crime story and the second part was drama and the two didn’t really connect. You feel like you’re reading 2 different books.

This is the 3rd and final book in the Exposed Hearts Series. Changed By You is Kane and Teale's story. Kane Foster has always had an incredible relationship with his brothers, Drake and Hayden. The banter and the hysterical ribbing continues. Kane seemed to be somewhat of an enigma in books 1 & 2. He continues with his standoffish, non communicative self when he meets Teale as he is helping a friend. Teale is the perfect match for Kane. He doesn't know what hits him but the enemies to friends, to roommates to slow burn hot chemistry lovers and ultimately needing a second chance makes this an incredible love story. The connection between Kane and Teale is great. The sarcasm, humor, giggles and laughs, tender moments, and incredible passion. Teale seamlessly helps Kane be his authentic happy self. They also understand each other, but have a bump in the road during a terrifying time and after due to not communicating. Teale falls in love with the Foster family as well as Hollis and Devney. Truly this family makes this such a great book. A perfect HEA ending.

Best book in this series
I feel that this is the best book in this series. It can be a standalone but it’s so much more enjoyable if you read the first two books. Those books were really good and you will have such a greater appreciation of Kane’s character.
I loved almost everything about this book. I adored Teale. She was beautiful, funny and confident. She handled Kane’s gruffness perfectly. You couldn’t help but fall in love with her. Kane is my favorite hero out of the three books. I absolutely loved him throughout this whole series (except for two major instances which I will explain).The build up of their romance was written perfectly. I loved the mystery around who the killer was and this book had an amazing and satisfying HEA.
There were two major things that I didn’t like—SPOILERS here so don’t read further if you don’t want to know....,
First of all, I hated that it took Kane five months to go after her after she went home. Especially since he knew she was in love with him and she left because he wasn’t in love with her. Even though he really was. He let her think that for five long months.
Secondly, she takes him back right away and goes back to live with him in Alaska—which I was very happy with. But someone close to them dies. ( a little boy who was a cancer patient that Teale was sort of mentoring). This happens two weeks before their wedding and Kane starts to slowly withdraw from Teale because of his insecurities of losing someone he loves. This really pissed me off. He had no consideration about Teal’s grief—and he hurt her more by pulling away after everything they went through together. Luckily this doesn’t go on for too long. Teale hunts him down and totally coddles him and pulls him out of it. But honestly someone needed to just tell him to grow the f—k up. That whole scene just really bothered me.
Anyway after that... the rest of book was awesome. I loved the ending. I will miss these characters and the whole family.

Hello Ladies. Are you a fan of EXTREMELY emotional romance? Well then, Changed by You is definitely the book for you. This book really needs to come with a warning label, “Tissues not included with purchase price”. Believe me Ladies, when you read this book, you WILL need them. There are also many “LOL” moments, as well as lot of “aww” moments. Ladies, I just freaking loved this book.
I FREAKING LOVED Teale Delaney!!! She totally saw the real Kane, she looked right through his gruff, “Mr. Meanie Pants” exterior, to the soft marshmallow inside. She saw things that even his family did not.
Kane Foster was NEVER going to become the “Princess” that his brothers had. Love was not for him… again. Nope, sorry ladies, I am not going to give anything away. Kane is working with the FBI to find the a serial killer, dubbed the “Lumberjack”. The killer is aware of Kane helping the FBI, it was his plan all along because…. Sorry Ladies, this really is a fabulous book, and I do not want to give anything away.
Kudos to you Ms. Mayer, I do not know how you could write some of the parts of this phenomenal book and not break down. I literally had to put my reader down because I was crying so hard and could not see to read the words. My heart broke in a zillion pieces at one part.

This was an EXCELLENT read! There was a lot going on though and during one part, I felt it moved way too fast, but other than that I definitely enjoyed this read!
I actually feel a little dumb, I read the first book in this series and did not even realize it until halfway through this book. Then it made me appreciate the characters and the story even more!
Characters:
Kane- closed off mountain man type that is uber broody. He prefers to keep to himself, but absolutely loves his family and has a huge heart even though he does not act like it. He had something big happen to him in his past and refuses to do relationships or opening himself up to anyone who is not family.
Teale- a bright eyed Olympic skater looking to find herself in Alaska after a breakup with her longtime boyfriend. She is bubbly and fun and says exactly what is on her mind.
Plot:
As I mentioned before, there was a freaking lot going on in this book, but I totally dig it. I enjoyed the flow even though I felt as if one of the scenes felt a bit rushed (let me know if you can tell which!). Kane and Teale and fire and ice and she has this natural way about herself that dug under his skin and basically refused to leave. I thought it was freaking adorable.
Steam:
Wowzers, maybe I should move to Alaska if that is how they make their men. Kane might not be the relationship type, but he definitely can be super hot and the scenes between him and Teale are freaking fire!

Teale came to Alaska to figure out what she wants to do with her life. When the heat goes out in the cabin she rents, she calls the number her landlord gave her. Kane doesn't do relationships, he doesn't do warm and fuzzy. For heaven's sake, he doesn't even like talking. So he lives in a cabin out of town with just his dog for company. His job as a hunting guide suits him perfectly. So when he gets a phone call from the out of towner that she is going to freeze to death, he is put out to say the least. When he can't fix the problem, she commanders his truck and forces him to take her to town. When the weather makes it impossible to get her to the hotel, he has to take her to his house. With her personality and her non stop talking, she wiggles her way into his mind and heart. The question is, will he let her stay?
I have been desperate for Kane's story since I read the first book in the series, Intoxicated by You. I knew that the woman he needed would have to be special, would have to be persistent and strong. He was so closed off, so resistant to anyone coming into his life. Teale is exactly that, she is all sparkle and sass. She doesn't let his grumpiness stop her from driving him crazy. She kinda takes a wrecking ball to his life and it is so much fun to watch. Kane doesn't know what to make of her but he can't help himself from liking her. Kristin left me a bawling, sniveling mess with Kane Foster.
Kane had always intrigued me throughout the previous books. Drake was easy to love, Hayden kinda grows on you and Hollis has always been comic relief. But Kane was always the one lurking in the background, never having too much to say or wanting to be noticed. So when Teale shows up and throws everything we know about Kane completely off kilter, we love her immediately!
All she was wanting to do was to get away and clear her head, but when the furnace goes out in the middle of a blizzard, it's Kane to save the day (he's looking after the place for a friend). But when she refuses to do anything but leave with Kane to stay warm, it's all downhill from there for Kane, Mr "I'm a private person and don't do relationships".
We've all read these kind of stories before, the kind where they weren't supposed to fall in love but they did. And that is true to this story too but there is so much more to it than just that. For one you have to acknowledge that this is the Fosters and we love Amie and Ike so dearly, we wish they were our parents, so how can anyone not fall in love with the whole family. Add to it, Kane has been working with the FBI on this unsolved serial killer case; and when the killer calls Kane out by name, he does everything to protect those around him he loves. A trip to Montana. A children's hospital living vicariously through Teale's stories. One special terminal child who changes this world forever. See? This is far from your normal "I don't do relationships" story.
Kristin has made me love this family and made me hope for more to come (since the family might expand and all) ;)

“Kane oh Kane, 5 stars”
Since Intoxicated by You I have wanted Kane’s story. There is just something about the mystery brother that always intrigues me. I patiently waited for what felt like ever and when I saw Changed by You sitting all pretty on my kindle, I pushed aside all the other books I should have read before it. I absolutely loved Kane’s story and can honestly say Mayer gave him the perfect woman in Teale.
Teale is a figure skater who is taking a break and trying to decide what she wants to do next in life. Does she continue with her career or does she hang up her competitive skates? When she took a vacation to Alaska she expected to make her decision. What she didn’t expect was the brooding Kane.
Teale managed to turn Kane’s quiet life upside down in a matter of a few short days. Will he let her in or will he keep her at arm’s length? One thing is for sure, Kane wants her but years ago he learned his lesson where women are concerned. Will he let her in and give her a chance?
I loved everything about Changed by You. They balanced each other out so perfectly and never tried to change the other. Add in the fact that there is a little mystery and suspense in the book, and I’m sold. So I gotta say I loved this book but I just felt like it went a little long. I mean the last 4 or so chapters could have been shortened to an epilogue. Oh and my other complaint was I was expecting the final scene with the killer to be a lot more and it just fell flat for me. I was disappointed to say the least. I love Kane and how Teale broke thru his walls. She changed his way of thinking and talking. She made him see the good in life and how to have fun again. These two butted heads so many times but it was hilarious. Kane is an all american Alaskan man. He hunts, takes people on hunts and displays his kills in his house. He loves his family hard and is happy when his siblings are. With all boys you can only imagine how this crazy this household is. I mean by the end they were sightly out numbered. I gotta say how funny things turn out. I liked how we got both Kane and Teale's point of views. Also I liked how certain characters which you thought would cause trouble just faded away in the storyline. I mean Teale was escaping life and her boyfriend when she ended up by Kane. The boyfriend made an appearance and that was it. I liked the element of suspense but unless I missed it, I didn't know who the killer was.. I get why he was so mad at Kane but it wasn't worth killing for. This book has some seriously sweet moments in it. I mean the parts with Judson just melt your heart and have some tears coming down. That part killed me. Kane and Teale are just so much fun together. I really did like this book, I just found some issues that's all.

Changed by You by Kristin Mayer is book three in a series of stand alones. For maximum rewarding experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous books are Intoxicated by You and Wrecked by You; Drake and Alex and Hayden and Kory Foster's stories.
This is Kane Foster and Teale's story. Kane is the last single one of the brothers. He's broody, intriguing, doesn't look halfbad too, but his grumpiness keeps everyone away from him. Til Teale Delaney shows up in Alaska. She's an olympic goldmedalist hiding out in a cabin in the woods. She becomes his houseguest and slowly she drives him crazy. She puts his whole world upside down. Everything could be peachy, but both are the target of an serial killer.
It took exactly one chapter to get me hooked on the story. I read the book, cover to cover in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. I want to be honest here, at the beginning I didn't much care for Teale, she was annoying and high energy - to high energy for me. Reading about her mototrmouth gave me whiplash. But she changed and became bearable and lkater on lovable. Kane is another story. I loved, loved his character. His grumpiness, his longing for solitude and his skills as tracker and guide. I ooved how he changed from sworn bachelor to someone who's helpless when hurricane Teale rolls over him.
The story is fantastic and gave me all the feels - and the writing is excellent. I recommend the book and the series and give 5 stars.

I thought Changed by you was really good it would be the Fourth book that I've read by the author and so not the last . The story line really drew me in to what was going on with the characters and hoping by the end it would be a happy one . Kane and Teale are so opposite but compliment one another really well . The hero is very closed off only wants to interact with those he is close to not looking for a relationship he has a kind heart but doesn't show it . The heroine is so bubbly and says whatever is on her mind you can just see the emotions through her eyes she's just that open . I really liked this couple is just wooooow love the quirky banter they got going on and the steam oh my the STEAM .
This is a story you don't want to miss out on one click as soon as possible along with other books by Kristin Mayer .

I so loved loved loved this book. I recommend this book to all romance lovers. This is a stand-alone book
but to get the full experience I recommend reading the other books in this series...Intoxicated By You and

Kane, Teale, and Mariah. Kane is basically your run-of-the-mill Alaskan-mountain man. He loves to hunt, fish, camp, and build things. All with his trust sidekick Mariah by his side. Kane has sworn off love, and for good reason. He’s also seen how his brothers are with their wives and says he never wants to become like them (if you’ve read intoxicated by You and Wrecked for You, you’ll know why…it’s actually hilarious.). Teale is looking to get away and Alaska is her destination. She’s an Olympic figure skater, with great parents, a cheating ex, and she’s a motor mouth. Her and Kane come into contact when she texts him about the heater being out at the cabin she’s renting out. When he comes to solve the problem and realizes that it can’t be fixed, Teale bulldozes her way into his life and space.
At first I wasn’t able to gear which way this would go. From the previous books, we saw Kane being the silent, stand-off ish one of the three brothers.
