Amazing read, brings back memories falling in love and the dating process stage - Stage #1: Attraction. No matter what anybody says, relationships are based on physical attraction. ... I disagree, Google Stage #2: Uncertainty. This is the stage where you are unsure if he/she is right for you. ... Stage #3: Exclusivity. In this stage, you make a commitment to each other to be exclusive. ... Stage #4: Intimacy. ...
Thank you, Google for the almost accurate steps.
I strongly suggest to read Charon Docks At Daylight first before devouring this gem.
God I liked this, oh young romance....*sigh* I especially am drawn to this couple. After devouring CDAD, Zoe Reed gives us a glimpse of what life could have been like for the two had the zombies not taken over. So good. Moooorreeee.....pleeeeaaassseee....
I liked this AU better than Charon Docks at Daylight. It was a light read with zero angst. While there was no plot, this is an enjoyable read. It showed us how Genevieve and Hayden's relationship progressed sans zombie apocalypse. With only 8 chapters, the book ended abruptly but didn't feel incomplete. I'm not sure if the author intends to add more one shots for this book, since the last update was 5 years ago, but I'd keep my eye out for one.
The author's writing style is one of the best out there, so I wish he* would write more books in the future. Breaking Legacies is the best one I've read by this author.
*I'm just assuming the author goes by this pronoun now based on his picture.
que paz ler sobre meu casalzinho só de boas e sendo feliz depois de tanto sofrimento no livro original. e autor bom é autor que escreve fanfic do próprio livro
This piece is so refreshing to read. Zoe really has a way with words. It's magical. I love this story where Gen and Hayden are not two broken soul like in the original story but just two people in love and discovering each other. Though I won't mind if this story was as long as the original, I'm trully happy and grateful with its existence just the way it is.
i can't stop thinking about blake and casey's words. STAR-CROSSED LOVERS. LIKE FATE. i could read about these two girls falling in love with each other in a hundred other scenarios and i wouldn't get enough of it.
using this to rate both the au of a world without an outbreak and the one shots on if the outbreak happened but echo wasn’t at fault for the death. this was sooooooo good! healed me to meet my favorite couple again but broke me a little now that it is truly over. but god, does reed have a talent for writing. i will never not obsess over cdad and the talent in writing a non-apocalypse regular romance just convinced me to read all other books of this author aswell!
After reading CDAD and absolutely loving it - I could not resist this little gem. In total contrast this was a light read with zero angst. It showed us how Genevieve and Hayden's relationship would have progressed if there had been no zombie apocalypse. It was sweet and utterly believable.
Anything and everything containing Genevieve and Echo/Hayden is pure gold and there's nothing anyone could ever tell me that would be capable of changing that.
Apparently this is my third time reading this au ever since i finished reading CDAD back in 2021… i clearly can’t get enough of these characters and their beautiful relationship and i love the Au soooo much! You are such a great writer and these characters have brought me so much joy (au and book) and so so many tears (in their normal book version).
Idk if you even read these things, but i just want to say thank you and tell you how much I appreciate the world you created and how much I love this AU. And yes, after discovering cdad back in 2021 i went on and read lots of your stuff and im so ready for whatever else you put out there. (If it’s more gen and hayden au know that I’ll be thereeee immediately lol)
