A treasure to travel through at your leisure. Comprehensive and highly informative - particularly on the various regulations governing rye, grain, Tennessee whiskey and everything in between - and presented in an accessible and entertaining way. His tasting notes are engagingly descriptive. A book to savour, like a crisp, cool Bourbon on the rocks 🥃.

This is a must-read for anyone interested in spirits. Although it deals with American whiskey makers, it's a fascinating combination of road trip and distillery visits - two of my own favourite activities! He meets some really interesting and really knowledgeable people, and it's well-written too.
