Also, my books have little to no angst, and lots and lots of fluff! They are better read in order, because I kind of write them like a continuation of a story, and I don't like to repeat explanations over and over if I can help it. No cheating, because that makes my heart hurt, and I try to avoid things that make me sad like I SHOULD be avoiding carbs. Sorry, I just don't want anyone being disappointed if they like the angst filled heart-rippers. These read more like a romantic comedy than a romantic drama.

This bundle is for the first 3 books in the Chosen series, which is a series of shifters finding their fated-mates, where the "chosen" are those who are mates with the shifters and are able to have children and are recognized by a birthmark somewhere on their body. So, yes, there are some hints of mpreg being a possibility, but none of the characters have yet to go through a pregnancy, so it's really just barely hinted at so far.
Overall, I enjoyed these first three books. They are lighthearted, with lots of humor and banter between the entire group of characters. There is also a lot of crying - I mean, a whole lot of tears. So, yes, a bit of melodrama, but overall I think with the friends and family and then the added element of a cult out to get the shifters and their chosen mates, it's a series I will definitely be continuing!

Overall, this is such a fun series! How have I not known about this until now? It is shifter and Mpreg nonshifters as well. Bundle one is books 1-3 and I think each book can stand alone but why get one when you can get a bundle of three and save.
Book 1 Just Ridley
Ridley knows about shifters since his best friend and his mom that he works for is one, but he doesn’t know that Flyn the man of his dreams is one and the pack leader. He thinks Flynn is straight since he is in the café everyday with a beautiful woman but he just can’t help how he feels. The pull is stronger than anything he has ever felt. Flynn knows the cute human is his mate but has helped off until he thinks Ridley is in danger. When his second goes crazy and tries to kill Ridley he will do whatever he must to protect him.
I loved this story. It is a great introduction to this world, well developed and the characters are fun and well-built too.
Book 2 Grumpy Old Bear
OMG this was so funny. Thompsyn thinks he is too old for his mate and leopard shifter Bennett. Bennett may only be twenty, but he is a lieutenant and very determined to get what he wants. I loved Ridley and Flynn but so far Thompsyn (Syn) and Bennett (Ben) are my favorite. I loved grumpy old Thompson and Ben may be young, but he is tough and funny. I loved how he liked poking his bear in more ways than one. This story is funny, but it has a serious touch of action that goes with the ongoing storyline of the series.
Book 3 Sweet Sutton
There has ben a fox sniffing around lately but his scent is faint and disappears almost magically. The other shifters wonder if perhaps he is mixed up in the mess that their alphas old second and the others that have left are in. It seems to be a cult of some kind. Ron sits on his porch ogling the new human as he works in his flowers every day. Sutton watches the man parade around nude or half nude. One day Thompsyn and Barret show up and Sutton happens to be peeking out watching Rona and freaks out. When Ron gets close e realizes Sutton is his mate.
This is such a fun story. I love all the characters and the story is good too. I do feel like this one you have to have at least read the Grumpy Old Bear so I suggest this box set to get them all in order.
If at all possible, get this in audio. Kenneth obi brings this character to life with such sweet and sexy voices that distinguish them and the inflictions to each sentence and action really sparks the story.
I can’t wait to start the next bundle.

Leap House Adventures
Just Ridley: Chosen, Book 1
This book was really cute! Ridley is such a sweet klutz and I love how they would tease him over trying to destroy the kitchen while always checking out Flynn. I was giggling a lot throughout this book. I also enjoyed the light suspense throughout the book and the enemy characters that keep popping up. It gave a good buildup to the storyline and I really enjoyed how it continues throughout the whole series!
Grumpy Old Bear: Chosen, Book 2
At first I really didn't like Thompsyn, especially when he said what he did to Bennett while making a first impression, but his character grew on me. I loved his old man views and attitude. Bennett had me in stitches throughout most of the book, he was so much fun and the best part was when he laid down and played DEAD omfg I howled!!! 😂🤣😂 Bennett & Thompsyn ended up being my favourite couple out of this series! They are so sweet & amazing together!!
Sweet Sutton: Chosen, Book 3
This book was really neat, I loved the plot of the flowers masking the scent of the shifters, that was a cool twist! Ron & Sutton's story had the most drama and I loved every second of it! I thought it was hilarious how they officially met when they both figured out they were watching each other at night and acting like creepers lol too funny!
Kenneth Obi did an amazing job with this series he literally sounds like he is 20yrs old! The emotion and complexity he brings to the characters was awesome! He has definitely made my list of top 10 favourite narrators!!

First time reading this author and I’ve already downloaded the next set of books in this series! I’m not a huge PNR fan and definitely avoid mpreg books (because shifters are completely believable but mpreg is not? Sometimes even I don’t make sense to myself...). In any case, I’m now a fan of both. I love how one story runs into the next and there’s not a lot of rehashing the overall storyline but it keeps building to a larger story arc- shifter cult? This is definitely out of my norm for storylines but I am completely sucked in and can’t wait to read the rest. I love that there’s very little drama and insta sweet love! I don’t like that every main character thinks so little of themselves that they don’t think they deserve love, almost to the point of self-sabotage, especially when they mean everything in the world to their mate. Luckily it doesn’t take long to convince them how very much they are loved. The characters are all sweet and very open about their dedication and devotion to their mate. Who could ask for more? I’m in total love with this series!

There are characters I adore in this series. The stories overall are a bit thin. Mostly they are focused on the action around the mating of the MCs with a little bit of drama around them. By the end of the third story you start to see a bigger story coming together. That gives me hope. I am really interested to see where the author takes this broader story. The romance lover in me still wants the cute mating bits, and the hot bits to be honest, but it's the broader story that will keep me going.

Still like it
This is the second time for me reading these books. I wish they would have been re=edited before they were bundled up. I am sure that anyone spending their money would want them perfect. The stories are easy reads and everything you would expect to find in a fated mates short romance. I really do like J.D. Light and find her funny and this is a pretty good series by her. Not perfect but good.

I love this series. J. D. Light's books are sweet, sexy, and hilarious. In the first three books, we meet Flynn and Ridley, Bennett and Thompsyn, and Ronnie and Sutton. Their stories are intertwined, there are HEAs for everyone, mpreg, and an evolving mystery. You will smile and laugh and cry. Highly recommend.

Overall it was exactly what it said it was. It's like all the others, and I'm not mad about that. it's what I wanted and it delivered in a way that I'll continue on.

Such a fun trio of shifter stories!
These are m/m shifter/paranormal suspense/romance novels, all a part of a series that must be read in order! First off, I like the world-building, the consistency and that the author doesn’t repeat a lot between books. There’s a good story here at the base among the romance of the books! Great suspense, I can’t wait to read more!

I bought the audio mostly based on the fact that Kenneth Obi is the narrator. Easy angst free shifter stories with an amazing narrator seemed like a no-brainer. Unfortunately I did not care for the stories or writing style. Non/mis-communication driven storylines with tons of repetition does not do it for me.

I adore all the couples of the chosen series but this bundle and the second bundle are my all time faves! I'm not normally into the mpreg trope, but this series is pretty light on it for the most part.

This was my 1st time listening to this author... Nice. I definitely enjoyed this small bundle. It is a good series so far. Short, but straight to the point. Pretty good love stories.
