This sweet board book about animal friendships shows us that from elephants to otters, everybody needs a buddy!
Everybody needs a buddy, whether clean or green or muddy! Everybody needs a friend, true and blue who’s not pretend.
If a baby’s on the ground, elephants will gather round. Trying hard to help him stand, friendly trunks can lend a hand.
This charming board book about friendship highlights the ways animals care for each other! Sweet, silly, and all true , these friendships are described in ways that children will understand. With perfect rhyming text from Ellen Jackson and bright illustrations from Maddie Frost, it’s very everybody needs a buddy!
A book that goes through different types of animal relationships (lions all laying together, zebras and ostriches protecting each other from tigers, rhinos and tickbirds, etc)
It started to kind of go on and on, but was still cute
I thought this was a really cute book, animals with their animal friends. You know, a lesson on why it’s important to have friends that I am still working on myself 😅
E gives it a 7/10 as it was a little verbose for the level he’s at now.
A group of friends called the Big Idea Gang hear about extra money the PTO has to spend. Each student is excited and can think of a favorite idea for the money. A rocket ship playground, community garden, swimming pool are some of the great ideas. Deon, a happy kid wants to use the money for buddy bench. He sees a new kid in the shadows trying to stay invisible. A Buddy Bench would be a safe place to let others know you want to be a friend or need a friend.
This is a book about friendship and also some science. I like the aphid / ladybug combo is the only antagonistic pairing shown there; the rest seem like plausible pairs. The book shows two little kid friends at the very end.
