This was such a fun read! =))
I’ve always loved Janet Evanovich’s books and this one certainly gave me everything I craved for. Lee Goldberg and Janet once again didn’t just manage to keep me thoroughly entertained but also caused me to laugh out loud. XD In short: They did an amazing job! ;-P
Kate O’Hare and Nicolas Fox are just too much fun and if I’m entirely honest I really want them to get it on!!! *lol*Unfortunately Janet is known for her slow burning love so yeah, I guess I’ll have to wait forever until they finally make it! Haha

Well anyway, if you’re a fan of Janet Evanovich, adored Kaz Brekker and love yourself some smartass sexy thief and a tough and hot as hell FBI agent, then you definitely should join the fun! ;-)
Their crew and their heists are amazing and the side characters are hilarious! Did I ever mention that I love Kate’s father? He’s awesomesauce and I want him and Willie to make out! XD

Oh yes, Willie is such a hot woman! XD And Kate’s father, Jake O’Hare would be perfect for her!
She gestured to the bag. “What have you got in there?”
“Nothing much. Some golfballs, a handful of tees, a Glock, extra ammo, two hand grenades, a tear gas canister, a knife, Tums, clean socks, flares, and some ensure chocolate shakes.”
Jeez, I love that man! *LOL*

Okay somewhere in the book there is a sexy scene with a towel involving Nick and Kate, maybe this will do the trick? XD They are like cat and mouse and whilst Nick is a swoonworthy and clever charmer, Kate is the badass heroine! ;-P

These books are so much fun that I have no trouble ignoring the holes in the suspension of disbelief bridge big enough to drive Willy’s semi truck through. Why? Because they are pure escapist material and sometimes that’s the best kind of book.
This installment focuses on art heists, greed and robbing from the bad guy. My only trouble is that it was more of a string of heists tied together by seriously over-the-top action scenes rather than a story that moves the characters forward in any way. I’m okay with an action driven plot but a little bit of character development would have been nice.
Best of all is Kate’s Dad, Jake. I imagine him as an aging Russell Crowe/Kevin Costner dude— okay, so maybe I’m crushing more on the old dude... dang— I am getting old!!

Kate O’Hare and Nick Fox are paired up once again for Book #2. This time, the duo needs to swap a forged national treasure, currently held in the Smithsonian, for the real deal which was stolen by Carter Grove, a former White House Chief of Staff turned thief.
But Kate and Nick can’t just let it go with the return of the stolen property. They aim to finally put Carter Grove behind bars. What better way to out crook a crook than by pulling off an elaborate art heist and selling Grove the stolen wares?

Stop judging me.
I’m almost positive these books contain subliminal messages that force me to keep reading them. Me, the woman who almost always refuses to read Book #2 in a series has read TWENTY Stephanie Plums plus the “in between the numbers”, and all of the Wicked, Metro Girl now these O’Hare and Fox books (and yet another Plum is already in the works for release in June). I have a problem and I think there might only be one way out . . .

But when you look a little closer you realize that the houses aren’t quite as nice as you remember or the people don’t look as friendly? That’s kind of how I feel about O’Hare and Fox. Kate is smart, Fox is sexy, but they just aren’t as fun as the people I’m used to. Stephanie, Ranger, Joe and Grandma are old friends I like to visit from time to time. O’Hare and Fox are a little too polished and take themselves way too seriously, which kind of defeats the purpose of reading fluffy crap. However, I guarantee I’ll read the next one. And the one after that. And the one after that.

I find myself unsure of how to rate/review this one. I like the entire premise of this new series, but it’s missing something. I mean, this really could be a great television show. Its ultra fast paced and the characters are snarky funny. I did suffer a bit from geographic schizophrenia though. They travel so much in this one book they earned platinum card status. There was just so much crammed in.
Kate and Nic make a great team and them working together is pure gold. But it really is lacking emotionally. I didn’t feel connected to them. I was left constantly wanting more. More emotion. More intimacy.More sizzle. Just more.
I told a friend, it read like a good script but didn’t have the depth I want from a book. I then learned later that Evanovichs’ co writer also writes for television. Yep, that explains it now.
I dunno guys I am rating it 3.5 because I did find it funny and entertaining. Overall though it was a bit meh :(

Interesting but I did skip #1 the caper and #1 but read the first two (Shell game and Pros and Cons). Let me tell you that you need to read one of the two that I missed reading to get an idea of what is going on. A fun read with no actual reality attached. SO let your mind wander and enjoy. BUT, my Fox and O'Hare series reading has come to an end.

I loved this! It was so hilariously funny! Janet Evanovich always makes me laugh, and these two are quite a team! I had to read some parts aloud to my husband!

To be fair it wasn't everywhere. Mostly here and there.
I can’t really say I was disappointed with the second instalment in Kate and Nick’s infinite playlist of barely there sexual tension and lame capers… okay I jest, I am pretty disappointed.
In The Chase Kate and Nick are tasked by the FBI to retrieve a Chinese historical artefact from the former White House Chief of Staff, Carter Grove. Standing in their way is the fact that Carter currently runs BlackRhino, an elite private security agency that outsources its mercenary services to nations at war. Backed by old and new crew members, Kate and Nick are sent on transcontinental merry chase, from Scotland to Shanghai in an elaborate operation to prevent a diplomatic embarrassment. It was all shits and giggles, or at least these people’s version of, until they realize just how dangerous an enemy Carter Grove makes.
My problem with this series is that there’s very little progress in terms of the overall story from The Heist. I saw brief glimpses of either Nick and Kate’s characters’ background in the first book and found them intriguing enough to continue on to this adventure to get to know them better. Unfortunately, what I knew of either protagonists before coming into The Chase is pretty much the same after I finished it. The snarky back talk and the unfulfilled sexual tension felt flat and robotic the second time around, losing the cushion offered by their novelty.
And perhaps its too soon to be impatient, seeing as this is but the second book in an open-ended series but there has to be something that would make me come back and be invested on either of them: within and outside their relationship. Notice I don’t shelf this as a contemporary romance precisely because I don’t read it as such… yet.
A gripe I had on the first book is the over simplicity of the con. Here it felt a little too drawn out. Long cons do not necessarily mean greater complexity. It had it’s fast-paced and exciting moments but had to share space with history and cultural lessons alongside lengthy specifications of a glamorous jet or an ostentatious car. Which is interesting to a plebeian like me but then I wouldn’t really know the difference between a Maserati and a Lamborghini’s engine specs to approximate how well-researched this is. On the bright side, I suppose the goofy, almanac delivery of the story did make setting the book aside and picking it up again easy on the continuity. But I would gladly trade the travelogue and Top Gear vernacular for more scenes with Boyd, the method actor they occasionally hire to join their team, dressed as Percy the Pancake.
That wasn't even the end of it.
There’s probably a Japan gif for a self-loathing, suicidal pancake in the interwebz but that scene just prevents me from doing anything other than laugh and hyperventilate in between.
I also enjoyed Jake and his rag-tag band of geriatric misfits but I’m starting to sense the pattern in the role he plays in the shenanigans Kate and Nick get themselves into. I suppose I like that Nick doesn’t stick to the same crew for each heist he pulls, but this would’ve gone down the toilet had it not been for Boyd. I could have done away with Willie and her power nipples but Boyd was just golden.
Traditionally, books/series that rely on the chemistry between the loose canon hero and the straight and narrow heroine tend to prolong the agony for their readers. Because soon as the will they-or-won’t they stops, the interest will also begin to flag. Supposedly. And as someone who watched and enjoyed lot of mediocre Monster of the Week X-Files episodes while waiting for Mulder and Scully to finally bang, I shouldn’t really mind this overplayed hand.
But there has to be something about either characters to make them interesting. It’s never a good sign when the reader feels the need to skim over a scene with the towel-clad hero just to get to the next bit where a secondary character turns up.

Better than The Heist. It still contains some of the sexual innuendo I find so off-putting in other Janet Evanovich novels, but toned down enough to be...ignorable. Ish.
At any rate, this is a fast paced, fun novel that still feels like White Collar meets Leverage (as my friend Michelle put it.) Like its predecessor, it lacks the twists and turns of a traditional heist movie. However, this one makes up for by keeping the action going from the very start. Multiple heists take place and the characters find themselves constantly on the run.
Enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next one.

This book is so much fun. I always thought that I liked Heist books in the fantasy genre, but they are really so much better in the Contemporary setting.
The f b i and con artist combination is, again, just fun! Fox and O'Hare are all across the world from Scotland to Montreal trying to nail the ex white house chief of staff, who is involved with some absolutely heinous international criminal activity including art theft and funding of multiple extremist groups.
Willy and Boyd are back as well as a new member of The Heist crew named Joe, and it's a fun group to read about. It's exciting, dramatic, there are plenty of explosions and danger and things gone wrong
Kate and Nick have kind of worked out their dynamic now, and it's funny at times! The scene in the hotel hallway had me cracking up when she was *definitely not* peeking through her fingers hahahaha. From butt cheeks to Hellfire missiles I definitely think that fans of FBI Thrillers, heists, and any other fans of the genre should check these books out
And don't forget Jake and the senior citizen Army vets swooping in to save the day again, I hate to say but I think they are my favorite characters so far!
Lastly for any audiobook fans - Scott Brick is a fantastic narrator

I must say that I am rather disappointed in this book. I have been a long time fan of Evanovich and have insisted that many of my friends and family read her books. These books have had a history of being easy to read with some laughs, colorful characters, and silly fun. Her books have suffered a steady decline and it make me very sad.
This book is second in the Fox and O'Hare series. I found the first in the series somewhat enjoyable and had hoped that this one would be even better. Unfortunately, it is not. The characters felt flat throughout the book and I never cared about anyone in the book....at all. I had hoped that I would find something funny in the book...nope....nothing funny here....at all. I had hoped that there would be some chemistry between Nick and Kate....nothing going on here.
The plot of the book can be summed up quite easily. Kate is an FBI agent who has been paired up with a thief, Nick Fox to steal things. They steal things in this book several times. They almost get caught several times. That is basically it.
This book makes me sad. I miss the days when I would be sure to go to the book store on the release day for any of Evanovich's books. I would make no plans that day and I would spend a couple of hours laughing at something crazy. Things started slowly declining and somewhere along the line I started checked these books out at the library and getting to them when I had a chance. I actually have the most recent Stephanie Plum book sitting on my kindle unread months after its release.
I do wonder who wrote this book. Was it Goldberg trying to imitate Evanovich? Was it a collaboration of efforts? I also wonder what input the editor had on the book. I really wonder how many naps this book will induce. I fell asleep at least three times while reading this book. I am the kind of person who stays up late reading one more page but with this book I repeatedly found myself falling asleep.
I really cannot recommend this book. I do hope that Evanovich finds her spark again someday but it is becoming doubtful. This is really one of those books that I am just glad I finished so that I can move on to something else.

These books have had a history of being easy to read with some laughs, colorful characters, and silly fun. Her books have suffered a steady decline and it make me very sad.
This book is second in the Fox and O'Hare series. I found the first in the series somewhat enjoyable and had hoped that this one would be even better. Unfortunately, it is not. The characters felt flat throughout the book and I never cared about anyone in the book....at all. I had hoped that I would find something funny in the book...nope....nothing funny here....at all. I had hoped that there would be some chemistry between Nick and Kate....nothing going on here.
The plot of the book can be summed up quite easily. Kate is an FBI agent who has been paired up with a thief, Nick Fox to steal things. They steal things in this book several times. They almost get caught several times. That is basically it.
This book makes me sad. I miss the days when I would be sure to go to the book store on the release day for any of Evanovich's books. I would make no plans that day and I would spend a couple of hours laughing at something crazy. Things started slowly declining and somewhere along the line I started checked these books out at the library and getting to them when I had a chance. I actually have the most recent Stephanie Plum book sitting on my kindle unread months after its release.
I do wonder who wrote this book. Was it Goldberg trying to imitate Evanovich? Was it a collaboration of efforts? I also wonder what input the editor had on the book. I really wonder how many naps this book will induce. I fell asleep at least three times while reading this book. I am the kind of person who stays up late reading one more page but with this book I repeatedly found myself falling asleep.
I really cannot recommend this book. I do hope that Evanovich finds her spark again someday but it is becoming doubtful. This is really one of those books that I am just glad I finished so that I can move on to something else.

Totally enjoyed this one, it's fast, funny, entertaining, definitely can tell what Janet Evanovich wrote and went it felt like it was a TV Show, guess that was Lee Goldberg's part.
Just like with Stephanie Plum, she creates a totally new character FBI Special Agent Kate O'Hare a likable one, that's tough as nails and likes Toblerone Chocolate Bars.
It's kind of an international thriller, as the dynamic duo of Kate and Nick take trips from LA to Glasgow, break into the Smithsonian, then end up in Palm Beach, take a flight to Shanghai, visit Montreal, take out a bad guy in KY and get romantic in LA.
Glad to see Joe, Boyd and Willie back in 'the Chase, then you got Jake O'Hare, Katie's dad who has her back, along with two of his buddies Clay and Walter.
If your looking for a fun, hilarious read than look no further than the Fox and O'Hare series by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg and anything by Evanovich quite humorous.

These books are entertaining. I'm probably giving this 3.5 stars - this is one of those times when I curse the Goodreads gods for not giving us half-star ratings. I feel like I complain about this every time I give a book half stars, which is unfortunately often because I'm an indecisive motherfucker.

ANYWAY. I said in my review of The Heist that Kate and Nick are basically what happens when Lawful Good meets Chaotic Neutral. I stand by that statement, BUT. I have a theory. I think they're slowly converging, having influence on each other, and at some point they are both gonna meet up in Chaotic Good territory. Because Nick's flair for danger and cons is slowly rubbing off on Kate, while you can see Nick beginning to lose his irreverent attitude when he's around Kate and is actually starting to care about her. He's becoming more cautious because he doesn't want her to get hurt. Don't get me wrong, he's still a charming, morally-dubious thief and she's still a no-nonsense FBI agent, but they're rubbing off on each other. (Innuendo not intended...or was it?)
Also I have a feeling it's gonna take a while before things really start getting steamy/romantic. Sure we've had a couple odd kisses here and there when they're thrown into life-and-death situations, but Nick has not thus far succeeded in full seduction. It's fun to watch them dance around each other.
ONTO THE STORY.
The target/villain in this one is slightly more evil than the one in the first. Actually, when you think about it, he's super evil. We've got a crooked killer with seemingly no empathy who was the White House chief of staff for eight years. There are scenes where he plays both sides in an African rebel uprising, threatens to kill Kate's family, and point-blank shoots a guy who was annoying him. To be honest, the most depressing thing about all this is that it's way too easy to imagine a person like this being the White House chief of staff.
BUT these stories are not depressing. They're fun, light and action-y, though to be honest the main reason I'm reading the series is for Nick and Kate.
Kate wore her favourite date-night outfit of jeans, Glock, and navy FBI windbreaker. Nick had Toblerones and caviar set out.
"If I didn't know better I'd think you were trying to seduce me," Kate said, eyeing the Toblerones.
"You could be right," Nick said.
Nothing screams seduction quite like a Toblerone.

Thoroughly enjoyed this action-packed romantic suspense. I loved the first book, even though I've not read any of Evanovich's other books. The pairing with Goldberg is what first caught my attention and this book is even more non-stop action than the first. What I really liked was that the plot never seemed to end; there were a few objectives and as each was reached a new threat would develop and a new objective would ensue this made for a very fast paced-plot with no dull moments. I'm not normally a "romantic" suspense reader but find this one delightful. The chemistry between the FBI agent O'Hare and the con-man Fox is spicy and fun. The banter and flirting is apropos of a TV detective couple such as Bones and Booth, Castle and Beckett and bless their hearts, Maddie and David. This makes the book a whole lot of fun for me. Regular characters are reappearing as they bring back the old "Ocean's Eleven" type of crew from the last book, with a few new faces thrown in for good measure. This is a happy, fun, action-packed read for me and I'm already eyeing the next book due out in Nov. of this year!

I'm so glad I received an advanced copy of this book, I was drawn in from page one and didn't want to put it down.
This story starts off with O'Hare and Fox on a case to replace a fake bronze rooster with the real one that was stolen from the Smithsonian years ago. The Chinese officials want it back in China in two weeks and if they find out the one in the Smithsonian is a fake it would cause some major trouble between the two countries.
While they are trying to figure out who had the real rooster they find out there are some very bad people in high places.
The attraction between FBI Agent O'Hare and Con Artist Nick Fox does not go unnoticed, and it adds another layer to both characters.
I will be recommending this book to friends and family.

This one starts out with a blast, literally, a bomb has gone off and its sets off the alarms of every bank around. So, what’s going on? Some crafty thief has planned the perfect distraction to a heist. Nicolas Fox is a master thief and he almost gets away, except FBI agent Kate O’Hare recognizes him in his faux police uniform and points her gun at him…he winks and drives away. And so begins the tongue in cheek banter and antics of this unlikely pair as they attempt to steal back a valuable piece of art from the former White House Chief of Staff. This is all while the sexual heat between these two rises to flaming hot and often toxic. Fox teases and taunts O’Hare with innuendo and O’Hare bristles and blusters at Fox. Will they succeed in breaking into a fortress of electronic and human watchdogs? They have back up for this totally and completely a “black-op” type of deal with no guarantees they will even succeed. Then again, an International crisis between China and the U.S. could become more than just a possibility if they don’t. No pressure, huh?

While the intricate plot unfolds, a wild and incredibly funny caper erupts into a race against time and skilled assassins. The couple end up getting help from some unlikely people that at first glance wouldn't seem like the best crew to have. Kate even runs into her father along the way.
When I first heard that Janet and Lee were teaming up to write a series I knew it was going to be great. I just love the chemistry between the serious and straight laced Kate and Nick, a guy that has the abiliity to go with flow no matter how tense things are. These two make great partners and of course there is more than professional chemistry at work.

The secondary characters were also terrific. Kate's dad and his geriatric team were hilarious. The evil Carter Grove and his elite team were diabolical and he made a great bad guy.
The humor fit the story and comparisons to the Stephanie Plum novels are not fair. This is a different series, with differenct characters, and a completely different atmosphere. I thought the lines and action were perfect for this type of caper.
I enjoyed this book a lot and I'm recommending it to anyone that enjoys a good old fashioned caper, mystery, light hearted comedy and adventure with just a pinch of romance to put the cherry on the cake. A really fun read!!

This was a solid 3 stars for me. I liked the first one in this series better than this one. The female MC was a more consistent character. I didn't get the dual vibe here....in this one she was less bimbo-esque and more FBI agent.
I liked the characters more here and overall, I liked the story. But I had one problem that I couldn't overlook. So many elements were so improbable. Drones, weapons of every kind, mercenaries, thieves, flights available at the drop of a dime, and a whole lot of other things were just plucked out of thin air. It was like it could all be found at the corner 7-11. It felt so convenient and not much was left to the imagination. I know that is how the Stephanie Plum books are, but for some reason, it was harder to overlook in this particular book of this series.

We meet Nick's mentor. The bond between Kate and her dad is heart warming.

Boyd is the coolest method actor. A true artist.

“They didn’t appreciate your psychologically tortured pancake,” Kate said.

Great characters, exciting plot, and adventure, adventure, and adventure.
Fox and O'hare are becoming my favorite characters. One is smart and the other witty.
Love the supporting characters, who play parts in the schemes this conman and FBI agent dream up.

LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! I had a very hard time putting it down. It's fast paced, action packed, humorous, and written by two people who no how to entertain a reader. Love the dynamics that take place between the hero and heroine, Nick and Kate. I also love how once again Janet supplies us with other very likable characters that add so much to the story - Kate's father, a retiree that is always looking for more adventures in his life and willing to live vicariously through his FBI agent daughter and support her and keeps hand granades and garrotes in his night stand that he refers to as "sleep aids". Boyd Capwell - an actor that likes to really get into his part, no matter how small the role. However, Nick and Kate have created the greatest and funnest and most challenging roles that fit his bill perfectly. Kate's FBI boss, Carl Jessop - he doesn't always like the way Kate and Nick get things done but he's privately supportive and a good friend to them both. Joe Morey, a newly fledged member of the "Geek Squad". He used to work in a very successful corporate position of a company that installed high end security systems. But due to the economy and and working with a dishonest supervisor that he blew the whistle on he lost the position, the income, the wife, the dog went away and the high mortgage stayed. "He sometimes thought he's like to become an alcoholic, but he couldn't afford the liquor". He's Nick and Kate's security, computer guy.

I enjoyed the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich (up to Book 15). But, those books, albeit fun and pretty humorous, do not even come close to Fox and O'Hare series! Oh yes, I found myself laughing out loud many times with Nick Fox and Kate O'Hare's clever banter. But, this series is so much more sophisticated, the cons they set up and work are bold and brilliant, and the adventures they have are tense, daring and mind blowing. And, the characters manage it all while being cool, calm and collected when it could all come crashing down or blow up in their faces at any second. At times it does, but they find opportunities to get out of it, around it and work it to their advantage. It's great!
The dialogue and exchanges between Nick and Kate are fabulous. They continue with Kate and her sister Megan. In this instance, Kate is at Megan's house visiting. Megan is forever trying to fix Kate up with men. Megan is explaining to Kate her latest fix-up with an accountant and why they make fantastic lovers:
Megan: "Very tactile. They have amazing fingers from tapping their calculators all day long. And they are extremely methodical in their work. So what you get is a man who will tirelessly explore every line item until he can file a strong return and get you a whopping refund."
My other favorite character in the series is Kate's father Jake, who was a government "operative" in his day whose many missions are still classified and who prepared his daughter at a very young age on various methods of killing, use of guns, machetes and other implements or tools of the "trade." Here Kate is talking to her father, Jake, who comes to her aid straight from playing a round of golf:
Kate: "What have you got in there?
Jake: Nothing much. Some golf balls, a handful of tees, a Glock, extra ammo, two hand grenades, a tear gas canister, a knife, Tums, clean socks, flares and some Ensure Chocolate Shakes.
Kate: You took all that with you to play golf?
Jake: It's my earthquake kit. You never know when the Big One may hit."
Typical, everyday conversation between father and daughter in these books.
I also love Nick's penchant of using various t.v. shows' characters from the 60's, 70's and 80's as his cover names on the various cons they run: Jim Rockford and Lucy Carmichael, Sonny Crockett, Jonathan Hart, Al Mundy and Jethro Clampett to name a few memorable ones used.
Oh yes, I am very much enjoying this series. The writing is a cut above and very entertaining. I am moving right onto the next one, anticipating more impossible feats, brilliant exploits, witty dialogue and daring missions. "The Job" is up next and I'm there!

I am really enjoying this series. FBI Agent Kate O'Hare and her partner Nick Fox have to steal a famous Chinese sculpture and switch it for a fake one that is going back to China from the Smithsonian. Kate has been chasing Nick for years as he is a famous thief. After their last adventure, they have become partners (reluctantly on Kate's part)and are used to work cases that are outside the normal boundaries of the FBI.
As in the first book, co-written by Evanovich & Goldberg, this book is a great mix of humor and spy procedure. The underlying sexual tension between the two partners adds to the fun in reading the book. Kate is a kick ass agent who gets to show her chops in this book and Nick has the contacts and the wiles to make their mission a success. Two characters from the first book return to make up the team and a new security geek is added. Kate's dad and his old "agency" buddies return as backup to the lead team.
One of the best parts about this book is how it all seems so plausible, even as rocket launchers are going off. I am excited to see what happens next.

If I hadn't read the previous one in the series, "The Heist," I would've liked it more! Though, it's a pretty solid read, so 3.5 stars!
The story: Well, this time again, Kate and Nick have to deal with a bad guy, bring him to the police and get justice...
I loved the story, the conversation exchange between Nick and Kate, and my personal favorite, the return of the side characters, Boyld, Winny, and Jake (Kate's father).
Then why didn't I give it five stars? I loved it but when I compare it to the first one, the humor was better in the previous part.

I liked The Chase better than The Heist,which I gave 5 stars! I was hooked from the start to the end. I hope there will be a lot more books in this series!!!

Oh this series was fun! Fox and O'hare follows and FBI agent heroine and...the con man she's been hunting for years. Who are now having to work together as a team to tackle off the books missions the FBI can't officially get involved with. Fun banter, captivating characters, a little danger and adventure. A fantastic time all the way around.
The Characters:
Fox and O'hare were as different as night and day and, yall, I LOVED their dynamic. She's a hard ass, he's a charmer, they snark and growl and have a little attraction. They have that fun underlying teasing and ease of driving each other a spot crazy. I laughed out loud a number of times over their interactions and was totally rooting on some naughty things to go down. I hope they will eventually. The bad guy vs good girl vibes they have are just too fun. His free spirit to her by the book attitude. PLEASE with the naughty! I beg! lol
My only complaint is Kate is an ex Navy SEAL and...no. Just no. I hated that. Unrealistic and not possible at the time these came out.
The Heist (Book1):
The Heist is all about bringing this team together. A lot of chasing, a lot of driving each other crazy. It's a total cat and mouse game early on and I loved it. And seeing their first mission together as they start pulling together their team of misfits that'll help them pull off a heist.
The Chase (Book2):
This time tracking down an artifact another country wanted back and that was supposedly safe and sound at a museum but really? Had totally been stolen already. lol Mid-air heists, capture and near misses, a little sexual tension. Things being blown up. Yep. Good times.
The Narration:
This was my first time with Brick. And it was a surprise. I loved his voice and easily fell into his story telling and the adventures of Fox and O'Hare. Smooth, rich and made me want to wrap myself up in his voice. So, yay! He kind of reminded me of the guy who does the Sad Cat Diaries. One thing that usually wouldn't work for me but did was that there was no real attempt at doing the female voices. Almost like he was just reading the story to you. But like I said. Usually that would NOT work for me but because I enjoyed his voice so much and the way he did it...it worked and I'll definitely go on with the audiobooks for this series.

Even though is is a joint effort and you're not sure who wrote most of the book I still love this series. It's a laugh out loud book. Kate and Nick have to steal a Chinese artifact that was stolen by an ex white house staff member who now runs a black ops operation in the process of stealing it back they discover that the thief is a very bad boy.
