A quick read that I thought was just okay. It was about a young lady that house-sits around the country while ghost writing romances and happens to take a job next to a movie star. Surprise! Something happens to the place where she is staying and she has to move in with him for a bit. The concept was fine but I felt like the pace was off. There was just way too much going on in the book before they got together which made the ending feel super rushed. Also the hero just didn't do anything for me. It wasn't a bad book, just not great and I won't be revisiting it.

A Gold Star for Lana Love's Gold Star
This is a quick, fun, entertaining yet steamy novella length read. Kate lacks the confidence to pen a book under her own name only thinking she is good enough to be a ghost writer. To supplement her income she is house sitting but even that doesn't work out when the unit is flooded luckily for her the units owner arranged for her to stay with on of the neighbors. But when she finds out it's the neighbor Damon, who she hasnt met but definitely has heard with his loud blaring music she is not so sure the arrangement will work, that is until Kate & Damon meet. Damon is a Hollywood actor who certainly doesn't lack confidence, he is cocky & self-assured but internally his confidence is faltering after two recent movie flops. Will Damon's mojo rise again & does Kate become his umuse allowing him to get back to his creative self? When paparazzi photos of Kate & Damon surface, and the questions start 'why would this hot & sexy Hollywood star be with her?' Can Damon help build her confidence allowing her to ignore all the harsh comments and questions. While this is a short afternoon read, so the book lacks true character development, the plot definitely sends a positive message. Recommend one-clicking Gold Star if you are looking for a fun & sexy quick afternoon or evening read.

I have to say for a quick read this was satisfying. Normally books this short get away from themselves but you actually believe the timeline. For me the only exception was what happened at the end seemed a bit too quick, but i can forgive it. Kate is a totally relatable character and Damon is just what she needs even though he's not what we expect.

A fantasy short story.
This is a 75 page story and perfect for a quick read. Damon is a movie star and Kate is a house sitter and ghost writer. This is an insta-love, fast paced story with little character development due to being such a short story. Definitely a fantasy type storyline so as long as you go in knowing what to expect, it’s enjoyable.

This is the fastest love story in history! From the time they first met to the day he propose, it’s like I was speeding on a fast lane. I have no complaints with the writhing though I wish it was a bit longer so that I can savor the story.

This is the perfect lunch time read. Hot and steamy, fast paced insta love story that will keep you turning the pages. I found the chemistry off the charts and the story easy to engage in. The only issue I would state that I had is character development. I needed more. While I really enjoyed the story I did not fully relate to Damon and Kate. I just didn't get enough about them to fully understand their actions and emotions. While in a longer story this would have been a big issue for me, but since this really is just a glimpse into their lives it was easy to still engage in the story and appreciate their love.

A great read. The chemistry between the characters is steamy. It will keep you interested till the very last page. Damon is the hot sexy movie star, use to getting everything and everyone he wants. That is not the case with Kate. She isn't into the fame and glitz. She meets Damon and she isn't impressed by with what he has. Damon wants her and will stop at nothing to make her realize that he is the one for her.

An amazing insta-love story that is a sexy, steamy fast paced page turner. It is an exciting read with a great storyline that is a well written, consistent, and well developed. Loveable characters, the chemistry between them is explosive. A little drama and ups and downs make this book a worthwhile read. Definitely recommended.

I love how Damon didn't let anything deter him from his love for Kate, even though he knew others would not see her as a "leading lady" for a celebrity. This was a really sweet story that wasn't too long. I only wish there was an epilogue of sorts where we see how they ended up.

In this short and sweet book, the two main characters are not even on each other’s radar until fate forces them together. The author has done a great job of writing this sweet romance with such lovable characters. It only takes about an hour or so to read and it is well worth it.

OMG. This was a great story. Kate and Damon had awesome chemistry. Kate is a ghostwriter who never stays long in the same place and Damon is a sexy actor looking to redeem his career. Has Kate finally found a reason to stay and can Damon convince her to become his forever leading lady?
