A few years ago, I wrote my first book, Dire Warning. Readers loved it and I was on my way to chronicle the Blackwood Pack, seven brothers who are gay wolf shifters in search of their fated mates—stories about love at first sight with twists and turns, angst and humor, romance and adventure and, of course, happy endings. Since then, the pack has expanded, allowing more stories to be told and different paranormals to be included. The series has become, as one reader described it…an “Epic Saga.”
Now, twelve books later, Lord Manetu has just been published. I love the M/M paranormal genre because it gives my imagination a lot of territory in which to roam. My mind can really run wild and come up with some amazing stuff when it doesn’t have to stay inside the box. My story ideas come to me as if they were being channeled by my characters, all of whom I love (except for a few villains). They are eager to recount their lives, loves and adventures, and are not reluctant to let it all out when it comes to revealing steamy details. My writing style is free-wheeling and uninhibited and my readers tell me they love it that way; that it makes them feel like they’re right in on the action and a member of the Blackwood Pack.
I live in the Northeast and love the beautiful change of seasons, my husband, and our quirky calico cat, though not necessarily in that order. I read a lot (good for the mind) and love gardening (good for the soul). And I’m always happy to hear from my readers and can be reached through Facebook, my private Facebook Group, Twitter, Instagram, or my website.

From reading the epilogue of Shadow Voice I was desperate to read this book. The author definitely has a way of managing not to end her books on a cliffhanger but still giving a tease of what’s to come in the next book!
I’ve been excited to read this story since book 1 because of the way Zane behaved towards Jackson after finding out what his gift was from the Fates. It was great to see Zane’s take on the brothers’ childhood, they’ve all dealt with different types of emotions and guilt from before the massacre it’s crazy that they all grew up in the same house.
David was the perfect mate for Zane, he was all the things Zane wasn’t, and Zane had to do stuff he’d never done before to protect his mate.
It was great to also see Zane as something other than a computer genius. In one of the fight scenes you could 100% tell that he was an alpha.
My favourite part of the book was Dakota and Slate in the Church of the Four Gods. I don’t want to say too much because it might ruin it, but I had tears in my eyes laughing.
Another great addition to the Blackwood Pack series.

Another outstanding book!

Loved the story about David although I cried over his life before Zane. Zane was romantic, careful and oh so loving with David! Another great adventure of the Blackwood Pack’s brothers, Mary Rundle sure can write a story that will not let you put the book down. Can’t wait for the next one!

OMG!!!

We learn so much here. This is my all time favorite shifter series. I can't wait to find out about what's going on with our little dragon. Plus we will be getting Brian's story. And we need to know what's up with the situation with the guys and their nasty uncle. I love a great read that still has you guessing.

Not enough stars

Absolutely with the wait!!!! This book, this series, is so awesome. The story lines are so good, the characters are off the charts, and every emotion is covered so perfectly. I do not have anything negative to say. Anxiously awaiting the next book!!!

I love this series

After reading this, I have to wonder why David didn't seem to be Italian except for a couple of phrases. Also, how did Zane know his term of endearment, which is in Italian, does he speak the language?

Other than that, I liked that David was so blessed by the gods and fates that he needed someone stalwart and unfailing as his mate, and that Zane had shown that fortitude. He's been the loose cannon in the Blackwood pack and I loved that he's been rewarded for his determination to be the best for his family, despite the occasional setback.

It's interesting how every time the pack is threatened, they are given even more strength and power, beyond what they need, to accomplish their responsibilities. And to learn how their gifts are to be utilized to help all shifters in the world going forward. I've got to wonder, with all of the power that they have, what was the prophecy that their uncle was trying to avoid? And how does he think that he will ever defeat it now that they are conning into their powers?

This series just keeps getting better and better with the sky the limit. Zane joins part of the pack in Scotland for the first trip/vacation that he's had since his parents and pack was murdered. While there, he starts scenting his mate and starts the search for him. David is in hiding from the cult (it's basically what that group is) that had held him since he was a child. As these two navigate their mating and finds out what is in store for them, you will be clenching your heart at the emotional ride.

And, the peek into the next one? Now, that will be interesting!!!

This is the 6 book in the Blackwood Pack Series. Finally my favorite and quiet brother has recive a special gift his mate. Things are not always what they seems and things can be different them they seem. The author keeps us all on the edge of our seats with these book in the series. Cant wait for the next book and the final brother to find his mate. If you love shifter books then you will fall in love with this series

There was only one drawback.

IT ENDED TOO SOON! I love this whole series. I now have a better picture of my geeky Zane. His mate David is so precious. We have intrigue, we have couples angst, then there is romance, and finally and an exciting climax. The epilogue is just cruel. You just don't want it to stop. Great job Mary Rundle! It's definitely a hit. Love the Blackwood Pack. Can't wait for number 7.

3,5*

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like
‘Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd,
‘Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya,
‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or
'Liberty' from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey’s books)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok). It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole
line, dismissed, repeat the class

Audiobook Review:
Overall – 5
Story – 5
Performance - 5

Another great book!

I could almost write the same review for Ghost Walker that I did for Shadow Voice but that wouldn’t be fun so I’ll try to change it up a bit. 😊

Nick J. Russo continues the excellent job with his performance of this series. He manages to use very distinct voices for each of the characters. I love his Scottish accent.

Please read the blurb; it’s very detailed and describes the book much better than I could. This is such a great series and I’m so glad that I’ve been able to listen to all of the audiobooks. The special powers the shifters in this series have are amazing. Zane and David are so good together and I love the powers they received.

Like the other books in this series, this one is full of action and surprises. If you enjoy a large cast of characters and a variety of different shifters, I don’t hesitate to recommend The Blackwood Pack series. I’m looking forward to listening to more of the books. If you can’t wait for them all to come out in audio format, books 1-10 are available to read now in Kindle Unlimited.

A copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

🌟 Fantastic!

I feel like I am running a marathon with these characters, exhausted but in a good way. The one thing I miss is the more concentrated focus on the main couple. While it's definitely a large part of the story there is so much going on with the other characters that their personal issues from their pasts feel a bit watered down. The reason I gave it this rating is that it is still a fantastic story with all the twists and turns and I can't wait to find out what's next...honestly I'm literally about to read the next in the series...?! ;)

Ghost Walker by Mary Rundle

I chose the 3-star rating because this book somehow did not read as smoothly nor feel as connected to the previous series. I dislike the block segments of the chapters . If you are following the series of the Blackwood Pack, you will enjoy all of the previous editions in this series.

Read Me

I get a little skeptical when I read claims like "Best Selling Author" or "Award Winning." What were the requirements to earn such acclaim? In the case of the Blackwood Pack Series. It really doesn't matter because the books are legitimately GREAT books full of adventure, emotion and a bunch of other good stuff.

Yo wtf Mary? Why did you make David gay? Why are all the men gay? Listen what is going on? We need to talk ASAP cousin. 😒 sounds a whole alot like my story. But the catch is David isn't gay: Zane is Zuez and the love is of like a brother or as a companion of a dog. WHY? for real what Is your deal? I like females and only attracted to females.

So good

I love this series. You need to read the books in order since this is one continuous story that centers around different mates, but the pack. You get POVs from all the characters even though it is the main mates of each book.
I can't wait for the next book.

Nice

Zane may be my favorite of the brothers after this book. I like how he had no problem with his brothers. Knowing about his gifts. But still protected his mate. The fates really did give Zane a very special mate in David.

What an amazing series! So much strength of character in each member of the Blackwood Pack, who are joined by their mates.

Based on the fact that they are in danger from so many factions, tension permeates this book side by side with love and devotion.

I felt for David - all alone in the world. Friends like the Pub owner, but nothing really until he met Zane.

It's great that the stories also include the others like Fionn.
I hope Groose & Penn find their fated mates
