I thoroughly enjoyed reading more about the pack, pride and the friendly vampires. Remus finally faces up to his feelings for Bronwen. A wolf and a vampire can they meet in the middle and can the peace and trade talks that Bronwen wants to integrate between the vampire Lords and her shifter friends.

This was a beautiful story because so many couples were brought together amidst the tension of brokering peace amongst them all. Jealousy, anger, romance, passion and drama are within these pages and I for one will recommend this to all my paranormal romance loving friends.

There is HEA, but there is also danger, trickery, betrayal, and a fight for survival. There are a number of characters, most minor, but all are interesting in their capacity.

This is the third book in the Howl and Growl Series. Book 1 and 2 of the series have been great reads, and book 3 is a good conclusion to the story of the wolf shifters in Oldwood forest and the Pride in Red Rock (Bk 1) and discovering that the vampires’ invasion and attack had not wiped out the Bear Clan as the other shifts thought (Bk 2).

A common thread between the stories is the changelings, wolf and cat shifters who were captured then changed by vampires to do their bidding. And the vampires.

In Book 1 we meet Bronwen, a female vampire who helps the wolf shifters defeat the attacking changelings and the vampire controller. She stays at the wolf shifters’ village to help them and especially Remus.

Book 3 is the journey Bronwen takes Remus, and several others including Nyx of the Bear Clan, as well as Keanu and Finn. Bronwen believes it would be to everyone’s advantage, including the vampires, to establish peace and fair trade between shifters and vampires. This is the purpose of this group's venturing into the Vampires territory.

It has been several years since Bronwen helped the wolf shifters to defeat the changelings, and since she realized Remus was her mate. But Remus is resisting – he has feelings but there are issues with loving a vampire.

Cadogan, a vampire, is a dangerous antagonist. He is aggressive and openly contemptuous of the Oldwood clans.

There is much more to the story than this rundown so enjoy.

Book 3, like book 1 and 2, can be read as a standalone but there is a thread running between them that will enriched the series.

Where did the vampires come from before the Darkwoods?
Was Remus the Alfa of the wolf shifters?
Who is Lenna? Was she a sifter?
Who is Flora?
What issues are there with loving a vampire?
There are more than one HEA in this story. Who else matched up?
Orpheus (Book1) could create and control changelings. Who else has the ability?

I received this book with the expectation of giving an honest review – which this is.

I will admit, I haven't read the previous books leading to this one. I could get a feeling of how they went while reading this and will be going back to find more of the back story.

In this book you have Remus, a wolf shifter. He is strong enough that he could have been alpha if he wanted it, but felt that the pack would be better served by his friend. He is getting ready to join a mixed group of shifters willingly entering Blackwood, the home of the vampires, as a part of a new Vampire Lords attempt to bring peace between their people. Not all of the vampires are willing to overlook the past, and be able of work with the shifters that are believed to be beneath them.

Bronwen, the new Lord who they are with, wishes to find a way for everyone to mingle. And try to find a way to bring life back to the Blackwoods. Both Remus and herself have had an attraction to each other which comes out in this book, but will they be able to find happiness not just for themselves, but for their people?

I was satisfied with how they author brought they questions forward, and resolved them within this book. I think anyone who is following the story will enjoy this book, and like I said reading this book makes me want to find out what happened before.

Remus watched the sun rise and noticed the beauty of the Oldwood forest. After two years of procrastination, Remus had finally agreed to travel with Bronwen, a Vampire Lord, to the Blackwood. Peace between the shifters and vampires was desired by both Remus and Bronwen, and their interaction would hopefully help move it forward. Remus was curious about her and she was “growing on him”, more than just a friendly relationship. Bronwen actually took the time to really listen to him, to smile and even chuckle at his strange jokes, and remained by his side whenever the stresses built up around him. He was ready to check out what it might be like to live among vampires.

As for Bronwen, she is developing feelings for Remus, a wolf shifter she recognizes as her mate. Her goal now is to get a treaty between vampires and the shifters for their protection. The alternative is war. Remus’ actions stir things up, however, and not all of the vampires see a treaty as a positive thing.

By the end of the story, there is quite a lot going on! This is the final book in the series that pulls it all together, so grab your copy and see how everything hopefully works out. There are so many decisions waiting to be made – but at what cost?

You are going to love this book! Cloe has created a vibrant world. Going from the green, verdant woods of the Old Wood, to the desolate, charred ruins of the Blackwood, her descriptions make it all feel real. The characters leap off the pages and pull you in to the story. The age old war between Vampires and Bears. The new alliance between wolves and bears, and the overtures for a trade alliance between them and the Vampire invaders of the Blackwood. their story will shock and amaze you. There are lots of old friends, some new ones, and new enemies. There is betrayal, loyalty, and love.
This is Remus and Bronwen's story. Remus is a wolf who realizes after 3 years that he loves Bronwen, a Vampire.. Remus and his friends are strangers in the charred land of the vampires. As the negotiations are sabotaged , their love is tested. Will Bronwen get her heart's desire, a mate for life? Will Remus consent to being turned to remain with her?
Yes, there is violence. It is not gratuitous, it is necessary. This book is for mature readers. It can be read alone,
but I recommend reading the other Howl books as well.

ONE INTENSE READ!!!
OMG! Man, talk about fast and furious. A whirlwind of emotions and events that feed from the excitement and nerve racking tension that brings this bad boy roaring to life brilliantly. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches and bumps here and there pull you deeper into this raging storyline and hard hitting plot. Throw in all the drama, intrigue, uncertainty, fear, danger and suspense and you have one intense, page turning bombshell that grabs your attention and holds it from start to finish. The characters are complex and so believable it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. You have no trouble picturing every scenario as it plays out perfectly. Cloe definitely nailed this bad boy 100% on point with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together flawlessly. Remarkable job Cloe, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review!! Howl and Bite is the third book in a group of three by Cloe Cullen, and I knew it would be just as good as the first two!! I was really looking forward to reading it and it did not disappoint! I loved most of all how she finally brought the two main characters, Bronwen, who is a Vampire and Remus, who is a Wolf shifter, together!! Proof positive that "opposites attract"! But of course, the path to love and an HEA isn't always a smooth one. Also the shifters and Vampires want to end the conflict and hatred between them.....but there are those who definitely don't and Bronwen, Remus and the others in their group will have fight hard to make that happen. If you totally l💖ve romance and are an incurable romantic then you will 💗 😏 this book!! I am 😉 and I did!!😏 As well, I thought it was awesome that they're not the only ones to find their mate and love! Howl and Bite is truly good read!!

From the beginning there action and drama. Remus is running in the woods when he runs into Darius his alpha. Darius shows his newborn daughter Flora to Remus which starts him to ponder his life. He longs for a mate and children like his friend Darius. Meanwhile Bronwen was summoned to be crowned a Lord among the vampire's in Blackwood and has agreed to take Remus and a diverse pack of shifters to talk about a peace pact with the vampires. But when they arrive not everyone is happy that Bronwen chose Remus as her lover and her plans for peace. This brings unrest among her people and two prominent Lords are against her plans. Does Bronwen choose Remus and his newly formed pack? I enjoyed this shifter romance story with the action and romance that bloomed between Bronwen and Remus. I volunteer to read and review this ARC.

Great News. Just pick it up and read. You do not have to have read the previous books in this series. I have not and loved this book. Now note there is enough references to the previous books to tweak your interest to read them. The author does a wonderful job of giving you enough information to understanding what is happening.

Two different species coming together. Leaving their homes and families to go to a new place and help start over. Troubles along the way and when they get there. Love story involved too.

Synopsis:
Wonderful book. Just read it!!! Lots of action.Stands alone extremely well. Third in a series . Just enough information to follow story .

This is my honest and freely given review. I did receive an ARC book.

A vampire and a shifter are not supposed to be a couple but it doesn't stop them. Bronwen and Remus are determined to be together.

Bronwen really has a lot of patience and wants to give time to Remus to decide what he wants. She knows he will have to live in a very different environment among vampires that don't respect shifters if he stays with her. She really has a lot of compassion for others which is not easy considering the life she has led.

Remus gave up being an alpha. He definitely feels a tie to her but it is not an easy transition. I liked that the author doesn't rush their relationship but gives it time to grow and strengthen.

There are some interesting twists too that will surprise you.

This is the third book in this series. The book about Remus, the wolf shifter, and Bronwen, the vampire. The two main characters, along with delegates from each shifter clan, travel to the Blacklands for Bronwen to claim her place as the thirteenth Vampire Lord and to start peace and trade negotiations between all of the species. Their arrival is met with many hostilities along with a few supporters of their ideas. Fierce changelings, a kidnapped member of their party, new loves found, a surprise admirer and a failed rescue attempt which leads to a death sentence for four of the members of this little group, combine to make this story an attention grabbing and holding book. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book without any compensation from any source.

Howl and Bite was such a delightful read. The story was focused on the lives of Remus and his shifters and Bronwen the vampire. It was a love story but full of action, adventure, heart and loyalty. Cloe's description of the shifter life as well as the life of a vampire; was refreshing. Although there were a few slow spots in the book it wasn't enough to deter me from continuing. I am very glad that I decided to finish because it was well worth it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a lover of the paranormal genre. The love scenes were perfect; not a lot of sex just enough to add spice to the story! I voluntarily chose to review this book.

Howl and Bite is book three and finale in the Howl and Growl series. This story is fast paced with lots of action, twists and turns, ups and downs, drama, uncertainty. and suspense. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and turning pages until the end. Bronwen, a vampire lord, wants to bring peace to Oldwood forest and travels with Remus, a wolf shifter, to Blackwood in hopes of achieving this goal. Along the way a relationship develops between the two as Bronwen knows that Remus is her mate. This story pulls the plot together wonderfully, questions are answered and more than one couple finds their HEA. I found this book to be an intense and enjoyable read and highly recommend it. Received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.

THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE WHO WILL LOVE YOU

Book 3 of the Howl and Growl series. The story starts off slowly and doesn’t pick up until about halfway into the book. This may be because I haven’t read the previous 2 books. The action is great and the story plot is interesting. I had a hard time staying interested until the halfway part. Bronwen, a vampire, and Remus, a wolf shifter, make a journey with others that will test their comradery and love. They also learn things that none of them expected.

It's complicated! Bronwen, vampire waited two years for Remus, wolf to realize/admit his feelings for her. Bronwen invited a group of non-vampire shifters to join her as ambassadors to create peace among all the groups. A very ambitious plan since all the vampires are not buying in yet. So, once feels are on the table, now what? Vampires are immortal, wolves are not. Can they become a mated pair and have a HEA? Will Bronwen succeed in forging peace? Can Remus make the ultimate decision? Adventure, battles, accusations and redefining relationships. Good story. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

This book was darker than the previous books in the series. That could be be because of the vampires or how dark and depressing Blackwood ended up being. The place reeked of evil. I really like Bronwen and her unrequited love for Remus. The shifters that traveled with them to Blackwood were great and each one had a different personality. This book was full of connections, evil, danger, fighting and a HEA with a sense of belonging. I didn't like this book as well as the others but it was still a decent read.

I received this arc from Booksprout am voluntarily leaving an honest review. After reading Howl and Growl, and Howl and Roar, I just knew Howl and Bite would be an intense, emotional rollercoaster that would continue to suck me in. It's past time for all creatures to be able to exist together but as always, there are forces that don't want that to happen. What a wonderful conclusion to a terrific series. One you won't be disappointed in. It's a hard won battle to finally receive their Happily Ever After.

Unexpected adventure awaits Bronwen and Remus as they venture into the Blackwoods. I found this book to be unusual in several ways. But I can’t tell you or that would spoil the surprise. Let’s just say that Remus is a most unusual shifter. Bronwen comes into her own power and has to make some tough decisions.
This group of shifters from the Oldwood have major changes coming to their lives. How the adapt and change makes an interesting book.

The story of Bronwen and Remus. This is the 3rd installment in the series and with every book it just gets better and better. The scenes are described graphically and written with so much feeling you just could not put this book down. Loved the way Bronwen and Remus connected. You cannot help but feel part of their story. Definitely definitely recommending this book. It is an adventurous. Interesting, fast read.

Howl And Bite by Cloe Cullen is a wonderful story that I read. This is book number three in this wonderful series that I read by a brand new author for me. I enjoyed the plot of the story. I didn't read the first two books and this is the last in the series. Still, I didn't have any difficulty in following the storyline. However, I was left hanging at the end of the story and knew the questions I was left with would not be answered. Can still recommend this if you like vampires and shifters.

Vampires, Shapeshifters, Drama Galore!
This intense paranormal drama is the third in the series and quite powerful. Vampires and shapeshifters team up for a most enjoyable read. Great characters and intriguing storyline with plenty of twists and turns, betrayals, and fighting. There’s also romance and a unique HEA ending. I loved it and plan to read the previous books. Enjoy!
