This book is comparable to an "Alice in Wonderland," in the way that it reads. A gay man, Charles, descends into complete insanity. His boyfriend of ten years, Trevor, stands by his side but life's reality was slipping away for Charles. Nothing made sense and everything seemed dark and cold in his life. After his father died, he realized how cruel the hands of time were. His father's death was the beginning of his fall to madness. The story depicts the circumstances he finds himself in and the struggles he is faced with. Was he a victim of mental illness or was there something more going on?
It is an exciting book that will be an easy page-turner.
This story was engaging and incredibly heartbreaking. I was pulled in from the first page and completely immersed in the story to the very end. I work in the mental health field and this story was of my heart. I do not work with anyone at this level but my clients are children so I would like to help before they slip to this degree. I thank the author for dealing with mental health. The story itself is so captivating I zoomed right through it with a heavy heart.

He is going through a tough time and is suffering from a mental illness and his boyfriend of the years is getting very worried about him. What is going to happen? Will there be an end to the tunnel? See what will happen

This was very weird. Almost too weird to really follow. It could have used some editing and Charlie's age always seemed to changed from chapter to chapter. Along with the stunted dialog between characters, this wasn't an enjoyable reading experience. Actually, it made my eye twitch.
I can't imagine not knowing which reality if yours. Maybe even both are not truly his, who knows? The author exquisitely presents a poor fellow who can't even function because he doesn't know who or what is real. To him, everything is. I won't be a spoiler but the ending is fabulous.
wow. That was a serious page Turner from start to finish. Once I started,I could not stop.I recieved this book in exchange for an honest review and wow! Like I don't even know where to begin but it was a total page Turner from start to finish and I literally finished it in one sitting. The whole book was crazy and I'm still trying to wrap my mind around it. There are things I'm still confusd about the story. I think its suppose to be left up to the reader to decide what is happening and what's real and not. This book takes you into the life of a man named Charles who loses his father and slowly starts to lose a grip on reality and he finds himself trapped between two worlds and becomes unsure which one is real. Is he really going back in forth between a parallel univers or is he just going through a psychological break through and this is all just in his mind? I don't to give too much away but i found this to be a quick read and i stayed engaged the whole time and was never bored. I just kept wanting to read more and more and the crazies it got,the more engaged I became until reached the very end. This is catagorized as a para- normal/thriller. I can't wait to check out more stories from this author!

I really wanted to be able to give this book a great review as I think mental illness is often overlooked in our society. However, I just found the book extremely confusing. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
