أسّس المؤلِّف شروط بحثه، إذ أعاد النظر في أمرين، الأول ظاهرة «تجديد إنتاج التخلّف» الاجتماعي والاقتصادي، بما يعني أنه يقصد بظاهرة التخلّف عملية «تجديد إنتاج التخلّف»؛ والثاني إعادة النظر في موضوع علم الاقتصاد السياسي كعلم اجتماعي، لأنه العلم الذي استخدم المؤلف أدواته الفكرية في سبيل البحث في طبيعة الظاهرة والقوانين الحاكمة لها ولتطورها على الصعيد الاجتماعي.

About the author

Muhammad adel zaky is a prominent Egyptian intellectual who is regarded as one of the renewers within political economy in the Arab world. He is the founder of Alexandria School for Political Economy - An Intellectual current which aims at reviving political economy as a social science and reconsidering its axioms and postulates. He has decisively criticized the concepts upon which the Classic School of Economy and Marx founded their theories and discourses like: Criticism of the international exchange based on non-equivalence and correcting the "Measure of value." His theory of "Value Leakage" on the global scale is regarded as one of the most important theories that seek to explain the backwardness of Third World Countries.

Muhammad adel zaky was born in Ibrahimyyah District, Alexandria Governorate, on the 11th of September, 1972. He joined Faculty of Law, Alexandria University in 1989 and graduated in 1993. He works as a lawyer.

He is the author of many books, including "Principles of Political Economy," "Dependency is the measure of backwardness," "Pioneers of Economic Thought" and "Economies that bleed sweat." He also published in scientific periodicals in Arabic, English and French.
