Sweet PNR with hot n obsessed alpha hero, loved it!

This started out with a good premise. The first 20% I was here for the cliche but engaging story. The writing was simplistic, but sometimes I don’t mind that if it still delivers a entertaining plot. The H is a j/p bulldozer, so I was into that. I was promised major OW drama angst, so I was ready to overlook less than amazing writing and bad editing….
But it all falls apart after a ridiculous scene where the H is about to murder a guy who challenges him for the h at a family dinner. Her parents and sister tell her to distract the enraged H, and this shy wilting-flower virgin decides to stick her hand down his pants (while he is actively choking out another guy) and grab his dick. And when it’s too big for her hand (👀🙋🏼♀️her thoughts, not mine) she sticks her other hand down his pants to help out. 👀🤔😐😅🤡🤡🙈 I mean…. It ends the fight. 🤷🏼♀️…. But I nearly closed the book. Her sister utters the words, "Grab his Willis and doodle-berries!" ... a grown adult woman should have bailed immediately, lets be honest. And I probably should have heeded that glaring red flag, because it went steadily downhill from there.
The basic but engaging plot devolved into an over complicated mess. Too many characters. Too many plot points. No direction. No cohesion. No rhyme or reason. All the good stuff was watered down until I completely disconnected. I finished because I was still holding out hope for OW drama, but it never really materialized. There is a gal at the beginning who likes him and makes him brownies… but he barely even acknowledges her. And yeah, she does some crazy stuff but it’s very peripheral and all it does is make the H provide more security for the h. Then there’s another jealous gal later, but that has nothing to do with the H. Crazy brownie girl tries to kill the h toward the end but again she’s just nuts and it wasn’t really something that caused any kind of relationship drama.
There’s some dumb PC stuff about the h being able to choose her mate and not wanting to be pregnant, that just made me roll my eyes.
Bottom line? Super Meh. It had potential, but ended up a huge disappointment on all counts. It is glaringly obvious this is from Wattpad. It felt like it was written by an adolescent.

Jocelyn does not know what she did to tick off Alpha Lennox Hall but now she has caught his attention. However, Jocelyn couldn't be more wrong, Lennox plans on claiming Jocelyn as his mate. However, the wolf inside Lennox is demanding he take Jocelyn as his mate but he wants to wait until her birthday. What neither of them know though is their are secrets about Jocelyn that are about to come out.
This was great, the only thing I did not like was that I felt Jocelyn was a bit young at times. It worked itself out but overall a great story and I liked that it had layers to it. Lennox is pure alpha male, so if you are looking for a a good paranormal story this is one to pick up.

This author is definitely my top 5 favorite because she writes what I WANT! LIKE OMG.... YES KYLE KAY! MOREEE PLEASEE!

~~~ WE GET TO READ THE HEROINE'S FAMILY on this book is very close and always makes time to see each other. They live pretty close to each other and even 5 years later the family still going strong.

Let me start by saying I love a good OTT j/p alpha and this hero fit that bill. Lennox was protective, possessive, domineering, hot headed………I live for it😍😍😍
Why is this only 1 star …..

The heroine was awful. I thought Jocelyn was going to be the shy introvert catching the alpha’s attention. Yes she is a little shy and fearful but she also came across annoying and childish. She was 17 and acted about 13. All of her thoughts center around her sister and food. I also can’t tell you the number of showers that these characters take🙄🙄. The heroine is constantly “embarrassing” herself. If this was suppose to endear me to her….it didn’t work. I couldn’t imagine her being the mate to an alpha of a pack. She didn’t like for anyone to be punished (I’m talking people who clearly deserved it) WTF???? One minute she is being attacked and the next she is running around without protection because she is throwing a tantrum. The. She gets pissy when she is not kept in the loop. An alpha’s mate does not have to be a badass fighter but she has to bring something to the pack.

An interesting story but some flaws.
I’m rating this one 4 stars based solely on story. The writing was not spectacular and the formatting was downright tragic and confusing but the story kept me going.
Admittedly this is my first shifter book so I’m not sure if what was written here is the norm or not. I picked this up as a recommendation because I was looking for stories with either period smex or the hero taking care of the heroine who was on her period and this fit the bill. So if you’re grossed out by the former this is not the book for you.
All intricacies of a wolf relationship and how the pacts interact were really compelling to me so I at the very least this has inspired me to give another shifter book a try.

This book is awful. The writing is basic, the plot is so stupid. I feel like a 5th grader decided to write a wolf soap opera. I have no clue how its ratings are so high but do yourself a favor and skip over this book.

The beginning had some potential, but started to crash and burn afterwards. I liked seeing the possessive alpha male, but there was a lot of character flaws and story flaws. The only reason I kept on reading was the humor in the book.
As for the many things wrong with this book:
#1 The FMC was boring, liked by every guy she encountered, and forgave very easily. There was really nothing that made her interesting except for the sometimes funny sh*t that came out of her mouth.
#2 The random plot twists were really random and didn't really add to the story. They never went into depth or were mentioned once before not being mentioned again.
#3 The possessive alpha is attractive at first, but he is just that. Nothing more. There is no depth to him at all. Not much of a backstory.
#4 Some of the things happening or being said were unrealistic even with this being a fantasy romance.
Overall, poor writing with the story and characters. I wouldn't buy this or recommend this. The only reason to read it a little would be the few funny parts.

The cover is totally incongruous for me.
This book was ... well, poorly edited and mediocrely written. The heroine is young - she’s only 18 in the last chapter of the book. And they never do say how old the H is. He is a jealous and possessive guy and for the first 20% I could overlook the meh ness of the book because it was still engaging. But ... yeah it just gets so silly and over the top and the drama is weird. For instance, she was stolen from her family as a baby, finds out, and ... there isn’t really any emotional fallout. All the alphas want her and that is never really explained either. I kept expecting it to be omegaverse and it never did. The hero was the hero because he basically ‘saw her first’ before the other alphas.
I didn’t really buy into any emotional connection between them at all.

I loved this!
I really enjoyed reading this book! I found it to be very romantic and the "alpha finds his mate" storyline is an entertaining one with several charming, and not so charming, memorable characters. I loved Jocelyn's sweet innocence and I laughed quite often over how clueless she was in her first encounters with the big bad and totally smitten Alpha Lennox! Nicely done!

Overall plot was okay, same as the Kindle and Wattpad version. Only the font and write style within the book was not good. A lot of mistakes before and after paragraphs, sentences and phrases. But I will still go back to the book each time, no matter if it is kindle or paperback format. A must read for fans of supernatural creatures, and bad ass alphas to take charge. I have been following the author since they started at wattpad, and have been following since. Love the books

If you are anything like me and can forgive spelling mistakes and a little bad grammar, then you will find this a really enjoyable read. I first read this on Wattpad and enjoyed it then. Sadly, it does still need a good editing. It does, however, have a great story and enjoyable group of characters. I got past the mistakes and thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Ugh....proof read, please!
The story was entertaining with different components, but good grief, the type-o's were insane....to the point of distraction. I can overlook a few, but there were so many, it constantly pulled me from the story. Not sure if I'll continue with this author

The average werewolf book where big bad alpha wants a shy timid girl because she is ”different” from others. However in the end she grows a little backbone.
I liked the steamy scenes and changing of the pov´s, that was refreshing. Even for the main character that I wasn't very fond of, you will not be able to put this book down because of the interesting plot, that will capture you.
I recommend this book when you want to just unwind and read a little steamy book that isn't complicated.

When I was younger I saw no faults in this story on Wattpad. Now that I am older I understand things differently. I did feel like she was objectified and her choice was taken away by men quite a lot but she knew how to use that to her advantage with her mate and that made me happy. Overall reminds me of year 7 days and I still love this story.

I thought this book had potential on Wattpad and was hoping the author would find an editor, or at least run it through a Grammarly check, but the number of grammar mistakes and awkward filler chapters made it difficult to get through. It has a pretty good foundation, but it needs work!

love this book
I’ve read this book a few times and I love it. I do wish they gave updated chapters on their life after the store ends so we can see what happened in the years to come but it’s a great story and I love Their relation ship together.
