NEW YORK CITY – In just over a year since romance author Blue Saffire began writing and releasing books, she has trailblazed a path to success that many indie writers can only dream of. A multi-Swirl Award winner and a perennial Amazon bestseller, Saffire is the woman behind the popular interracial romance series “Legally Bound,” “Hush,” “Ballers,”“Brothers Black,” “Perfect For Me” and “Yours.”
Always the overachiever, Saffire typically releases a new book every four to six weeks, quenching the thirst of her dedicated fans with spicy storylines and dynamic writing. Saffire has seven releases slated between October 2016 and January 2017 including three new “Brothers Black” books and four new “Legally Bound” books.
One of Saffire’s keys to success is her talent for connecting with readers on a personal level. In 2017, she’s throwing Blue’s March Madness from March 23 to March 25 at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC. Not only does each reader get a chance to meet and hang out with Saffire, she’s inviting her bestselling author friends to join in on the fun. Included in the price of tickets are the events, new books exclusive to March Madness attendees and an extra-special secret surprise. BLUE SAFFIRE is a woman on a mission to share her words and thoughts with the world. She has found her passion in her pen and steams up the pages with her humor, honesty, love and voice. Saffire represents the secret author inside that some of us are too scared to let out.
Saffire and her family all enjoy life in the suburbs. However, life throws her challenges daily and since her diary is no longer enough, she has decided it is time for new outlets for the words she would never say face to face to her friends, family and definitely not her husband. I had the pleasure of reading A Different Type of Pain by Summer Graystone. Laughed at Melia's irreverent mouth, cried tears for the ravagement of Susan's cancerous body, cringed for the misunderstandings between Luka and Melia and then smiled at coming full circle for all of them. This story touched my heart and made me not want it to end. So completely different from any other book I have read. Loved it even while crying. Susan's plan touched home for me as my mother wanted the same thing for my father before she passed away. So well written. I read and reviewed a copy of this story. I am sure the rest of the box set is just as moving and amazing as this authors story was.
My review is for Rylee Swann's Interview with the Dom.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and holy hotness, this book was unexpected in the most awesome of ways!! It may be a novella, but Rylee Swann managed to pack it full and create a work of art that balances the erotic with the steamy, the sensual with the sweet, and in the end it is pure perfection!
Caroline, the female protagonist, was an out of work journalist who accepted a job for a magazine she didnt mesh with out of sheer necessity. Her first assignment was to interview the successful Dom, Xavier, who owned the hottest sex clubs the world over. One interview, however, was all it took to change her life forever.
Xavier, the Domly male protagonist, was lonely despite his outlandish success. He was work centered and completely unprepared for Caroline and the feelings, long suppressed in his life, that she drew from him.
Sparks, inhibitions, and zippers fly when these two collide, proving that a book doesnt need to be full length to make you pant for more.
While I only purchased this set for one particular book I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the other stories that was offered. Very good read!
Ok I know this book was a total of ten different authors and their stories. And I got sold in by blue saffire. She's one of my favorite authors. All I can say is pure waste of time and money. You really shouldn't cheat people like this. Broken soldier was the one with the star. I hate being cheated i
It seemed a lot of these books had cliff hangers, Basically it seemed like some of these Books were for advertisement reasons only to introduce you to authors you haven’t read before
You, blue saffire are the bomb when it comes to writing. I like that the male character handled his business even with the disadvantage that he has. I enjoyed that the female character was not wimp. She might have made s mistake with getting together with baby daddy but she came to her senses. Awesome as usual. Keep up the good work.
So far, I have read about half of the stories. I find anthologies to be a mixed bag, which isn't surprising-- as they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time. While I enjoyed most of the stories, I didn't connect with a couple of them. At least one the stories needed a couple more passes by the editor; one of the more distracting errors was the inexplicable paragraph on justified paragraphs. Oops! I'm finding a few new authors and enjoying contributions from ones known to me, so overall it's been a worthwhile read.
