I was wonderfully charmed by this book! It a superb collection of fairly tales and short stories focusing on Autumn and the holidays associate with it. Despite it's age it is still highly readable and wonderful to read to the young... or young at heart!
It is very American which means that some of the stories are a bit less relevant, but it is a minor criticism.
None of the stories are scary either, despite the Halloween themes of some of the tales.
