FREE FIRST CHAPTER OF THE NEW NOVEL FROM SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR LOUISE DOUGHTY

Platform Seven at 4am: Peterborough Railway Station is deserted. The man crossing the covered walkway on this freezing November morning is confident he's alone. As he sits on the metal bench at the far end of the platform it is clear his choice is strategic - he's as far away from the night staff as he can get.
What the man doesn't realise is that he has company. Lisa Evans knows what he has decided. She knows what he is about to do as she tries and fails to stop him walking to the platform edge.

Two deaths on Platform Seven. Two fatalities in eighteen months - surely they're connected?

No one is more desperate to understand what connects them than Lisa Evans herself. After all, she was the first of the two to die.

I'm not normally a fan of the paranormal genre; however, I am a fan of Louise Doughty's writing. So, I took a chance on Platform Seven. WOW!!!!! This is a great story with a good mystery to it and the paranormal aspect in the story is not creepy. I found it to be what kept me hooked to the characters and the mystery. I'll be reading this again in the future.

Clever, emotive and thought-provoking: Lisa Evans knows what the man on platform 7 is about to do - she knows, because she did the same not so long ago and now she desperately wants to stop him, whilst discovering the events that led up to her demise.

This was compulsively readable - not what I was expecting but a different take on a thriller.

What I read so far is awesome. The Ebook sampler is just a teaser.

I want to read the entire book, not just the sampler. Not sure how I go about doing this unless the is a book you have to purchase.

Narrated by a ghost (Lisa) makes an interesting way to tell the story. The book is sufficiently well written to keep the reader engaged; it is not a great psychological thriller as one is led to believe when perusing the jacket.
