I'm D. Camille and I am an avid reader and author. I started reading romance books when I was thirteen and since then I've read hundreds. I wanted to write a series that contained the culture and history of the African and African American people.

I like to utilize historical information, science and ancient beliefs. I write for people to enjoy, think, analyze and learn; not only about the characters but hopefully also about themselves. I love to hear from my readers. Write me and tell me about your favorite characters and what you love about them. Me, I love all of them...they came from my heart.

Ase! (so let it be)

Black Love Is Real

D Camille never ceases to amaze me. Black love. Black culture. Her books make you feel. They make you want to be more culturally responsible. They make you want to fall in love. Once again- I am not disappointed.

Two great stories

Two stories with one goal Black love. Both Leslie and Kenya were women looking to start a new chapter in their lives. Leslie was looking for a man to build her life with, and due to her past Kenya was avoiding men. Two men new to the Bantu academy each with different gials. Caleum was a man looking for the woman to build his future with, Josiah was building his career not necessarily looking for a woman. Caluem and Leslie's story was a love stirring destiny and forecast in motion by the gods. Josiah and Kenya thrown together by circumstance discover a deep attraction that they act on and discover they are exactly what the other needs. Ms. Camille combines history of our people and strong black men and women building solid, healthy loving relationships.

💖💖 Another fabulous book 💖💖

This was two stories in one and they were both great as per usual. This story takes place at the Bantu Academy a school for African American children to teach them our rich history. At the Academy they avoid the educational pitfalls that are in the regular school systems. The school promotes black excellence at its finest. This is the story of four teachers Leslie and Caelum and how they fell in love. Then there's Kenya and Josiah and the story of how they fell in love. I absolutely love reading D. Camille books I always come away with a sense of Pride in our Rich history.

Yes another hit first book in a series. The history lessons, the love stories and the understanding of the historical belief and how all of our men are gods and kings and the women are queens and goddesses. This was great . I loved how you slipped the inn in DC in the story. I can't wait to see it. I also can't wait to talk with my fellow sisters about the fourth grade syndrome. Ok good to know for those who still have young kings. Thanks again D great stories.

Loving the new characters!!!!

And it's always great visiting with past characters too. Leslie and Caelum's story was my favorite of the two. As a reader familiar with this character Thank You for this fabulous update on her. I also enjoyed Kenya and Josiah's story and the enlightenment on the American Educational System was astounding. I am already looking forward to the next installment of this series.

Good read

Good read, I liked the storyline and characters. This was two separate romances in one book all associated with the Bantu academy. Caelum and Leslie are a good match, however, I didn’t enjoy their story as much. Josiah and Kenya’s storyline and romance was more interesting to me. I recommend this book.

Awesome!

D. Camille as always your stories flow so effortlessly and keeps me on the up and up on what's going on in the community. How it begins, how to assess it and how to handle it. Both stories were so beautiful that I cried when the men confessed and showed their love to the lovely ladies. Great Read! ReneeG 👍

Black lives, Black love, Black empowerment!

It is so wonderful to read about black life, love and relationships in the most positive settings. We should all strive to learn more about our culture and incorporate it into our everyday loves and in particular passing it on and down through generations.

Great book

This book has a well developed story line with a very nice build up. The first part is slow and innocent but the second half gets right into things. The characters are strong and positive with real issues that make it very believable.
