I want to start off by saying there were several stories in here that I think would have made a good book because of the idea. I found myself wanting to know what happened next and how it would play out. However, these are all very short stories that tease the idea but only up to a tryst, detailed intimate scene, and then it ends. I could have done without the scenes, if the story went on. I also found that each encounter was pretty much the same.
The biggest issue was Darcy, especially Darcy, and Elizabeth would not have progressed things so quickly to bed each other before marriage. This was the case in almost everyone of these stories. Darcy and Elizabeth have more self control and respect for propriety than to lose themselves to passion upon the mention or first declaration of love or marriage. There were several stories where Darcy and Elizabeth had been distanced for a while and upon learning the love for one another, lost their self control and slept together..., if they waited that long, they would have waited a little bit longer for marriage. There were also a few that they were made to marry after a comprising situation. In all of these, Elizabeth read Darcy has marrying her for doing the "right" thing or saving her from marriage to someone else but that he did not love her..., just put up with the situation. Once it was time for the marriage night, she quickly falls for him because she learns that he wanted her and was presented a situation that forced them to marry.
I am saddened because some of these would have been great if the story continued and they kept it in their pants until after marriage.

Okay my Goodread friends, I know I have stepped outside of my box. I recently signed up for the special Kindle Unlimited for 3 months for 99cents.
Reading this book I have taken many cold showers and I might have smoked a pack of cigarettes ( just kidding...I do not smoke). The blush has not faded yet either.
This book gives many (many) sensual story telling of our Elizabeth and Darcy. It is attended for mature readers. The scenes were well done and sensual in nature.
I couldn’t read past the first story. I don’t mind the smut, but there were many sentences that made no sense whatsoever. Get a dictionary to make sure your word usage is correct! I wanted a red pen, so it distracted from the “story”.
This is a collection of 14 stories that amount to about a single novel's worth of pages. So everything is pretty quick. A bit pricey. I was entertained by this but of course it tends to be OOC for our dear chaste and honorable couple and there is some degree of sameness t0 the sex scenes when reading everything back to back. Some scenes involve a wedding night, some contain premarital shenanigans. In many of the stories, the physical intimacy gets initiated in a very rapid fire manner without a lot of preamble. Several stories have them doing it somewhere semi-public but there is never any unpleasantness about getting caught or pregnant out of wedlock. (The two times there was a hint of a scandal they hadn't yet done it, and both times it was just because Collins can't keep his trap shut.)
I wrote reviews for some of these separately so I would remember that I read them in this collection.
This is steamy; almost a sort of manual for newlyweds on their honeymoon nights. It’s enjoyable if one is looking to read a Sidney Sheldon novel with Jane Austen’s times and characters in mind.
Save for four stories (Stolen Virtue, Contrived Engagement, False Presumptions and the last story) that justified consummation of marriage, it’s highly unlikely that Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet will engage in sexual trysts or liaisons given their honorable and righteous/virtuous natures. This is where these characters are fundamentally altered. The love and passion are there but the execution and timing of them showing their affection is just not warranted consideration who and how they are in Canon; which is a huge turn-off. This is 2 1/2 rounded up to 3 stars.
It is a universally acknowledged truth that a man with an estate in Derbyshire will only fall to Miss Elizabeth Bennet. The vignettes are lovely and creative. There are some misused words that annoy, and some words dropped altogether. A phaeton is not a gig - (Like a Rolls Royce is not like a Hyundai).
However, our dear couple caught up in flagrante delicto - emphasis on the flaming & heated part, is what appeals as the road to Pemberly and true love, we know is long.
These were great stories, I do wish a few were longer. I would have liked to see a few reactions of others or to see them have a bit of happiness after finding each other again.
