Askel's frantic to help Mallory find a stable recovery from her anorexia, but every time he gets his hopes up another relapse threatens her survival. He's willing to do anything to save his wife, including setting aside their Master/slave dynamic, if that's what it takes.

Mal knows she's in the fight of her life, but she's hit yet another plateau and her recovery has stalled. Something has to give before her body gives out. She's willing to take matters into her own hands and try a new path, even if it's one Kel and her doctors disagree with.

Kel isn't happy about Mal's decisions, but it's not like there's anything he can do about it now. And when she issues an ultimatum about their relationship, he's even less happy. Can he learn to let go, trust Mal, and put his faith in their friends? Or is he standing by and following his wife down a path of self-destruction?

Related Mallory and Askel have a complex story that starts in His Canvas and then winds through several other A Kinkmas Carol, Happy Spank Patrick's Day, This Moody Bastard, Walk Between the Raindrops, Friends in Common, Almost Gothic, Happy Spank-O-Ween, It'll Be Fun, and then they are featured again in Follow Me.

If you're a fan of Tymber Dalton and read her Suncoast Society series, you know about this couple, Kel and Mal. We've been watching Mal struggle with an eating disorder while watching Kel try to deal with it also. This book brought up so many emotions for me. Ms. Dalton wrote a wonderful story between a husband and wife, Master and slave relationship. Mal finally knows that it's going to be up to her to save her life, if that's possible. Going against advice, she checks herself out of the rehab she's been in and starts seeing Niall, Doug and Doyle. Kel is terrified of losing her but lets her make the decision to do this. Will Mal be able to save herself? They both have long buried issues that complicate this and will have to work through these things to get their HEA! Can they do it?Love, love, love this and I have been waiting for this story for such a long time!! I'm glad to finally see it and I hope we get little updates on them in future books! Well done!!!

This was one of the most touching books for me in the series. It is the story of Mal and Kel and how they try to cope with Mal’s anorexia. Mal decides on a treatment that Kel does not agree with. We go through that journey with both and we feel what they feel.
This book touched my soul and will stay with me for a while...

This is the continuing story of Kel and Mallory. I have waited for this book for what seems like a long time. I am happy to say the story did not fail me. We get to see how the two deal with Mallory's health and eating disorder and the grieving process over their loss. It is a wonderful story of how they figure out what they need to do to heal and grow together and apart. I truly hope to see more of the two of them in the future.

A wonderful continuation of an evolving love story! Kel and Mal are both devastated by a personal tragedy. But in trying to help each other, they keep making things worse. When Mal flips the script, Kel is stumped. Will he be able to follow her lead or are they destined to lead separate lives?
This book can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading His Canvas first.

I was almost afraid to read this book since the one that started the journey nearly gutted me. But it was so worth the risk. This is a story of hope and healing. Sometimes it isn't so much thinking outside the box as building a whole new box.

I loved this book. I've been reading tymber Dalton from the beginning of the suncoast society series. And this stands hand in hand with Kaden's book. I couldn't keep it down.

I love this book!

I have always loved Mal and Kel, and I’ve been waiting for more of their story! When they lost their baby, I felt what Mal was feeling, and understand how she could react the way she did. My heart broke for her, and for them both! I’ve been worried about them.

This continuation of their story did my heart good! To say more would mean I might slip up and post something that would spoil it for someone else... and I hate that, so I will stop. If you love Mal and Kel, this is a must read.

A nice comeback for Kel and Mal

These characters first became an item in His Canvas and have been left in a dark place for a while, and the audience left waiting (impatiently in my case) for a resolution. As always Tymber Dalton has written a novel with well developed characters in a well developed world with realistic problems and shows the BDSM lifestyle in a way that feels genuine and true to life, and also individual to the characters involved. Well done!!!! Also, Ms. Dalton thank you for not leaving these two beloved characters hanging in the darkness.

OMG I knew this would be a box of tissues read. It was so worth it to see Mal and Kel continue their healing journey. Even though it was torture only getting little snippets in other books (sadistic writer) it felt right that recovery from a miscarriage and anorexia took so long. These are not things to be worked through easily. It was so satisfying to see the Drs incorporate their lifestyle into the treatment protocol. 💖💖💖👍👍👍😭😭😭

Fantastic Read

I've so wanted this book - I love how Mel took her life back into her own hands because of her need to be with Kel - I was so worried when they lost the baby that they'd loose each other.

I didn't know how much i really needed a good cry until I started reading this book. I bawled my eye out over it while loving Mal and Axel's fight back to each other. I adore these two and was so happy that they were back together again and fighting for their happy.
