I really enjoyed this book, it was easy to get into and easy to stay engaged in. The characters were great and enjoyable and many of them had different depths. Last dealt with some very difficult topics and in my opinion handled them well. Definitely a recommended read for mature readers.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I love Australian authors; there's something so down to earth and real about how they write (also, their humour is fantastic!), and K.A. Last didn't disappoint me.
Wow, what a story! So many ups and downs in this emotional rollercoaster, I felt I was getting readers whiplash, but I was so gripped by events I couldn't put it down and read it all in one sitting. There's no way I can explain what happens without giving some major spoilers and I hate those in reviews, so all I can say is... READ IT - it's totally worth it!
