50 Shades of Stitches - Vol 1: Popular Ribbing, Knitting patterns with Step By Step Instructions by [Molo, Marina]This book is a great reference book for any knitter. I found the unique patterns easy to follow. I believe that I will be using many of them for Christmas gifts in the future.

Marina Molo is able to describe the steps needed to create her patterns. This will be a book that I will place in my knitting library.

This was a nice stitch pattern book that consisted of ribbing designs that can be incorporated into a larger project or just make as an individual project in itself. The pictures were nice and clear which made it easy to see detail and the pattern instructions were written in standard knitting format. I did like how it was mentioned in the multiple count how many more stitches to add for symmetry as well as adding stitches for the edge seam as I have not encountered a stitch pattern book that includes that information. This can be very helpful for the beginner if they are trying to determine whether they should start the pattern from the first stitch.

Book layout is very nice. For visual knitters who want to see all the options, the initial page included pictures of all the stitches that are to be covered. This is great as a reference when deciding which pattern to use. Also, the contact info of the author is listed as well as her social media and is very responsive if you need to connet.

I did wish the stitch patterns were charted as well as written as that is my preferred method. I read this through my kindle on my phone and was not able to expand the pictures but overall, it's a nice pattern book to add to the reference collection and I found a few new designs that I haven't seen before and would like to try!
