Molly Myers is just your average groupie next door.

Literally.

The rock star whose posters cover her bedroom wall is banging her roommate right on the other side of it. Even for Molly, reigning queen of embarrassing moments, the situation is epically awkward. Every thump of the headboard is just one more reminder that the lead singers of famous bands don’t date bumbling shy girls too anxious to leave their own rooms.

JP Bouchard-Guindon wasn’t looking for Molly’s room when he accidentally burst through the door, but the wild-haired girl lying there in her underwear was certainly worth the detour.

As the keyboardist for Montreal’s latest indie rock sensation, JP has met his fair share of fangirls. He’s always ready to throw up some finger guns for a photo. What he’s not ready for is the way skittish, wide-eyed Molly Myers gets stuck inside his head.

A practical joker and a social recluse are the last people anyone expects a connection between. She’s silence aching for a voice, and he’s sound with a craving for quiet. Their differences will either pull them together, or fracture their worlds when they push them apart.

TW// mentions of divorce, ableism, mentions of alcoholism

“You think I don’t know what it’s like to feel trapped, to feel like everything you need to say is stuck in your throat? I’ve spent most of my life feeling that way. Just trust me.”

I wasn’t a super huge fan of the first two books in the series (Your Rhythm and Your Echo), so it came as a huge surprise to me that I absolutely loved Your Sound. Your Sound was the perfect mix of spicy romance with real, hard hitting issues. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect rockstar romance.

Molly and JP were perfect as a couple. Molly is a shy, socially awkward girl. I found her to be really relatable as I’m also socially awkward and I also replay all my interactions in my head because of how awkward I am. JP was amazing as well. He was super goofy (and a bit cocky), but he took his time to befriend Molly and take an interest in her despite how standoffish she was at times. They worked so well together and all of their interactions were to die for.

Third act conflicts aren’t usually my jam, but I found the one in this book to feel extremely real and genuine. I don’t want to spoil the book so I can’t go too much into the conflict. However, I have a lot of the same thoughts about myself as JP, so even though we have opposite personalities, I felt that getting that deeper look during the conflict into who he is as a person really allowed me to understand him on a level that I wasn’t expecting.

As always with Katia Rose’s books, the pacing and the writing style were delightful. It sped along at a great pace with tons of memorable quotes that I will be thinking about for ages.

I can’t say enough good things about this book. It’s my favorite in this series and it’s one of my favorites of Katia’s books. I now desperately need more shy girl with celebrity guy dyanmics in romance books because I feel like this is a particular trope I will adore. These books can all be read as standalones, so I highly recommend picking up this book if you’re looking for a steamy rockstar romance.

"She and I are a language I don’t know how to speak yet."

C'est parfait! I'm a swoony smiley mess. I can't take it. Feels, feels, so many feels. This happiness is just exuding out of me. This story. This book. These characters. This group of friends. I love it ALL hardcore.

Your Sound is the third book in the Sherbrooke Station series. And I must confess, I haven't read the previous two books, but you best believe that will be changing. This is my first time reading anything by Katia and I am so freaking ecstatic that I came across this author. I just want to read everything and devour all of her words!

Molly is the quintessential shy girl. She gets embarrassed easily and prefers to keep to herself and not socialize with others. She's so relatable and that's one of the many reasons why I liked her so much. Awkward through and though, but that's what makes her, her adorable self. And who would've thought that an unexpected encounter, a member of her favorite band would have the ability to help her out of her shell and have her talking.

JP, mon amour, comme j'aime! Mon dieu, mon dieu, mon dieu! There's so much more to him that meets the eye. Behind his cheeky attitude and life of the party persona lies a person that just wants to be accepted, and more so by his father. What JP didn't expect was to find comfort in a shy girl who makes him feel safe and has him wanting things he never wanted before.

JP and Molly were every bit adorable. They were fun and sexy and I just les aimait en morceaux, loved them to pieces. They fit together seamlessly. They're relationship is sweetly cute. I couldn't get enough of these two. Oh, mon coeur I wanted more, so so so much more of JP and Molly.

"Our kiss is a crescendo. It’s a sound so loud it shatters the earth around us until we break away from the rest of the world. There’s just the two of us, caught in each other’s arms and lost in each other’s need. He coaxes my body like a conductor controls an orchestra, moving his mouth on mine in ways that make me give up sweet high notes and trembling low bass calls."

I loved this book, I loved this book, I loved this book. I especially liked the French throughout the book, it gave it that perfect essence. C'est magnifique. I honestly didn't want it to end.

Katia, give me all your words. I have found a new author to add to my favorites list.

This review MAY contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

This book had a lot of good qualities mixed with things that I didn't like. Which makes for a rather spotty reading experience. I think that for this review I will break things down into what I liked and what I didn't like.

Starting off with the good, I really liked the premise of the story. It is actually what made me read the book in the first place. I knew that I had to read this when I read in the synopsis that a shy band groupie has a run in with a member of her favorite band when he busts up into her bedroom while she is in her underwear.

The overall plot of the story was very good. I definitely thought that some of the concepts could have been elaborated on or given more attention, but I liked where the story went overall.

I liked that the main characters had a decent backstory. I would have liked more exploration into their backstories, but there was enough information to get a grasp on their personalities and why they act the way that they do.

I think that what kept me from loving this book the most was the execution of the storytelling. I didn't feel drawn into the story, nor did I feel connected to it. I wanted to. I really did, because I liked the story as a whole. The writing didn't create the chemistry between the characters that would normally have me slamming the pages. There wasn't enough power in the pages to make me really care. It was missing that oomph that makes a story great.

In the book, one of the main characters is French Canadian and so he speaks a lot of French. I typically don't mind when characters speak other languages, but it felt excessive in this book. I literally was on Google translate more than necessary which greatly put a damper on my reading enjoyment. I feel like I shouldn't have to constantly look up translations to know what the characters are saying. It was very annoying.

Overall, this book had a lot of promise but in the end, did not work for me. While I didn't totally hate the reading experience, it probably isn't one that will stick with me. It has its merits though, so if you enjoy contemporary romance then you may enjoy this one. I am not sure if I will read any of the other books in this series. They do sound interesting enough for me to give the author another shot.

I absolutely ADORE this series, but I’m not gonna lie, ive been waiting on JPs book from the very start. There was something about him that just drew me in, perhaps it was the Québécois, or his cheeky attitude, but I just knew his story was going to be special. And it was. Jean-Paul Marc Joseph Bouchard Guindon, was everything I had hoped he would be, and more.
Molly was every bit as perfect, and boy, did I see a lot of myself in her. As someone who has suffered social anxiety for years, I could relate to her on a real personal level. I truly couldn’t have picked a better love interest for my favourite keyboard player.
Katia Rose is an incredible author, and she really needs to be on EVERYONES radar. Her writing is flawless, and her stories draw you in and make you never want to leave. This series is shaping up to be one of my all-time favourites.

Your Sound is now LIVE! This is the third standalone installment in the Sherbrooke Station series. It’s been a long time in the making, and I’m so excited to finally share Molly and JP’s story with readers. This is for all you friends-to-lovers and slow burn fans!

In short, this is a story about a dork who falls in love with another dork. It’s a story about accepting yourself for who you are and finding strength in the things you’ve been taught to see as flaws. It’s about grabbing opportunities even when they scare you and finding the courage to lead a life that allows you to feel comfortable and confident in your own skin.

It’s also the story of one man’s passion for ham sandwiches.

This novel and these characters are very close to my heart, and as someone who has struggled a lot with social anxiety, Molly’s journey in particular really hit close to home. I hope with all my heart that her story might help someone in a similar situation to feel less alone, and even for those who can’t directly relate, I hope JP and Molly’s escapades serve as a source of inspiration as well as entertainment. With JP Bouchard-Guindon around, you can bet that the entertainment part is guaranteed.

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net**Your Sound is the third book in the Sherbrooke Station series by author Katia Rose. Each of the books in the Sherbrooke Station series can be read as a standalone. I haven't read either of the first two books, but I did really enjoy Your Sound. I don't read a ton of books about rock stars or musicians, it is not something I want to read about too often, but every now and then I see a book that catches my eye. And that happened with Your Sound. I think it was the way the main characters were described. I felt instantly connected to Molly and JP, in a way that I can't really explain. I just knew that as soon as I saw the summary for this book, I knew it was a romance I wouldn't want to miss.

And I was right, I did love Molly and JP. I really felt for Molly. I could certainly relate to her. She gets so nervous and anxious around people that it can be really debilitating sometimes. She said something at one point in the story that really hit home with me, because as I am getting more stressed lately, it has been something I have struggled with as well. Molly said that she has a hard time not imagining the worst possible senario for any given thing. She just obsesses over everything that can go wrong and it overwhelms her. I really felt for Molly. And I was determined to see her get her happy ending.

Molly is super shy, but her roommate is in a serious relationship with someone from Molly's favorite band- Sherbrooke station. Can you even imagine how uncomfortable that would be? Having a huge fangirl crush on a guy, only to have him be head over heels for your roommate? I have never read Ace and Stephanie's story, but I don't see him being a good match for Molly. Now, JP on the other hand is the right balance of easy going and calming to mesh with Molly. JP always makes Molly feel at ease, which is like liquid gold for her. Can you tell that I really love JP and Molly together? Not to mention they are both so talented- Molly is a great budding artist and JP is super musically talented.

I loved watching their friendship turn into something more. There were a few road bumps along the way, and a few annoyances within those road bumps for me, but overall this was a really sweet, and cute romance. I can't wait to read about the other members of Sherbrooke Station in their own stories. I will definitely be checking them all out. This was a fun romance and would be great for fans of art and music.

> > Judging a Book by its Cover < <
The cover has a sedate palette and if not for the author approaching me, I do not think this would have caught my eye enough to stop to read the synopsis.

> > Looking Deeper < <
POV ~> Alternating first-person
Setting~> Canada, featuring low-moderate French dialogue.

They both have to overcome their past wrongs before being able to build a future.
Molly is the shy and reclusive roommate of the girl dating Montreal-based rock superstar, Sherbrook Station’s, lead singer, Ace. She’s also the co-creator of the bands biggest fandom website.
JP is the band’s keyboardist, known as the jokester; the funny guy. Never taken seriously and never taking anything too seriously… until the day he accidentally barges into the wrong room and comes face-to-face with a half-naked Molly.
The relationship starts off rather awkwardly, but they are both a bit nerdy, geeky, and retro in the funnest ways. They seem to fit together well until self-doubts of the past rear up and threaten everything they’ve accomplished.
Adorkable leads, fun secondary friends. Loads of family drama. Endearing chemistry and compatibility. The plot was interesting and the story was well-written and had a nice, smooth flow. Dialogue was mostly in English, there was enough French in there that I felt the average reader should be given a cheat sheet translator at the start so one does not have to just guess at the words-even while most were explained/interpreted, some were not.
The big conflict could have been easily avoided but the resolution was nice. Predictability was low. The conclusion was solid enough though I imagine readers will get more of Molly and JP’s story in the background throughout the next book.
Overall, it was a solid read with plenty of content and a dynamic, entertaining plot.

Ahhh, I LOVE LOVE this series.

Full Review on my blog!

Oh my god! This was everything I could have hoped for. It was so raw and beautiful. I literally read it in a day. JP's story was everything I could have hoped for. The Sherbrooke Station series just keeps getting better and better.

There was something about JP that just drew me in, perhaps it was the Québécois, or his cheeky attitude, but I knew his story was going to be something special.  JP struggles with a secret that he doesn't want to let others know about.  He is constantly on the go and never focuses on one girl for long, until he meets Molly.

I loved Molly and could relate to her. She gets embarrassed easily and tends to not socialize with anyone.  She barely speaks and hides in her room.  But one day when a member of her favorite band walks in on her in her panties, she finds herself speaking. Getting to see the "real" Molly before we saw the shy and awkward Molly was so nice to see! I loved seeing both sides of her. It was adorable to see her shy and nervous side around the band. But, I think my favorite part was to see how JP wanted to help bring her out of her shell.

I absolutely loved JP and Molly! Their relationship was awkward and sweet and sexy, they were perfect for each other. I love them both as individuals, but as a couple they are on a whole new level.

Your Sound was unique, entertaining and has great characters. Your Sound is my favourite of the series so far. I cannot wait to read Cole's story! I highly recommend it.

Wow!  The Sherbrooke Station series just keeps getting better and better.  In book 3 we get down with the inner workings of JP's mind.  And what a jumbled mind it is.  JP struggles with a secret that he doesn't want to let others know about.  He is constantly on the go and never focuses on one girl for long.  That is until he meets Stephanié's roommate.

Molly is Ms. Introvert.  She gets embarrassed easily and tends to not socialize with anyone.  She is withdrawn and bunny like.  She scares easily.  She even has trouble communicating with her roommate of a year.  She barely speaks and hides in her room.  But one day when a member of her favorite band walks in on her in her granny panties, she finds herself speaking.

There is something about JP that Molly likes.  She is comfortable around him and seems to have no trouble talking to him.  It is like he understands her.  He gets her.  But she knows she is not on his level.  Come on...he is a sex god rock star!  He will  never be interested in her as more than friends right?!

There is something about Molly and JP can't get enough.  He thinks about her all the time.  Even the music in his head fills with thoughts of her.  What is it about Molly that pulls him.  Maybe because she is a light in a dark room.  She gets him.  It is like he can just be him and she listens when no one else will.

Will these two work out what it is and just go with the flow?

I tell you each of these stories gets better and better.  Wow!  Just Wow!  I loved JP's story.  And his French...oh la la!  He is a very intelligent person with a unique mind, that is always moving like cogs in a clock.  He has all this energy and talent.  He is special.  Truly amazing.

Molly is a sweet girl.  I feel her pain sometimes.  Her awkwardness is a challenge for her, but she is a very determined person.  I feel that JP really opens her mind up and challenges her shyness.  These two people were made for each other.  There is no doubt in my mind.

This story really reaches down into your soul.  I can't tell you how many times I cried with this one.  Their story was an amazing journey and I was so glad to follow along.  Katia Rose is an amazing author.  The way she writes her characters is truly awe-inspiring.  You can't help but fall in love with these characters.  Each book has its deep story to tell with intense emotions that will rip you to shreds.  Truly amazing.  I cannot express enough how much I love this series.  I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next.  I give this story a million stars.  ;)

OMG, guys! This book! This book... This book stole my heart!
From beginning to end it made me smile, it made me feel happy. I laughed, I cringed, my stomach swooped and my heart fluttered and I full on fell in love with JP and Molly.
They were two perfect for each other little peas in a pod.

Molly is a painfully awkward fan-girl living with the horror that the frontman of the band she idolizes is her roommate's boyfriend. She's sweet, she's loyal and an unbelievably talented artist but it's all buried under layers of self-consciousness, doubt and social anxiety. Molly is being smothered by her own fears and the expectation of her mother. I swear, I just wanted to hug the poor girl. She was so awkward it was painful at times but then she begins to bloom! She begins to realise what she is capable of. She comes out of her shell, finds her voice, stops being so afraid and goes after everything she wants.

JP is a mad-hatter. He's constantly on the go and totally random. He reminds me pretty strongly of Mal from Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series. However, he's so much more than the random goof who exists to provide the comic value. JP has hang-ups and wounds that are as real as anyone's and he too has to go on a journey to heal and move on.

I adored how, on paper, JP and Molly shouldn't have worked but they are exactly what the other needed. I loved how they were friends first and slowly built to being more... To being everything. Each was the catalyst of the other's change but the story wasn't a "and then they fell in love and everything was better" story. They help each other, make the other see themselves more clearly, but there is no magic cure all here: The changes come from within.

It's a journey of self-discovery and, in the process, falling in love. It's not a heavy-hearted read, it's low angst and fun but serious when needed. I seriously loved it!

For those who love a rockstar romance with heart, you've got to read it. In fact, you've got to read the series. It's awesome.

Your Sound is the third book in the Sherbrooke Station series by Katia Rose. This one was a difficult one for me to get into. A lot of this has to do with the stubject matter tackled. I have a hard time with comedy that uses social awkwardness as a punchline…and so reading about somebody who has extreme social awkwardness caused by social anxiety was difficult. However, just like Your Echo, Rose manages to capture the essence of two people who are very real and sucks you in to a story that feels like it could happen.

The handling of ADHD and anxiety (though anxiety is never actually named) was well-done. The low-self esteem of both characters, the feeling of being in a role that you feel you have to play because that’s what’s expected, the terror that comes with stepping outside that role…all of it is handled with a beauty and simplicity that really makes the reader relate to the characters as well as feel for them. I’ve read some books recently that have characters with anxiety, but the relating of the “symptoms” was clinical. Rose doesn’t do this. She manages to convey the emotions and feelings of her characters in such a way that the reader actually understands. Rose is truly gifted in this.

I also love that, once again, there is no conflict for conflict’s sake. The story is simply the story of two souls meeting and growing together. It doesn’t gloss over the set-backs, and they are there for a purpose. The actions and reactions of the characters are believable and don’t deviate from the characters…and when they act “out of character” it isn’t a plot point–it’s because they are changing their character due to true growth.

If you want to read a sweet story about two people who finally find the person who TRULY understands them…then grab your copy of this book today. While it’s helpful to read the other books in the series before you start, it’s not necessary. This book definitely is understandable and enjoyable all on its own.

I won't say that this was Ms. Rose's best yet (my heart still belongs to Matt and Kay's story), but this installment on the Sherbrooke Station series is perhaps the most solid so far.

Compelling, fleshed-out characters you can not ony relate to, but also can't help but root for. That's at the core of this story. Both JP and Molly build a solid enough base for the rest of the elements of the story to develop from there.

The relationship exploration in this story is brilliant. It digs deep thanks to the introspective nature of both MCs, but regardless, it wouldn't be possible to achieve if the author didn't have a clear idea of the kind of story she wanted to tell. This one is mainly about expectations; especially about the expectations others put on us, that we end up assimilating without meaning to, to the point of compromising our individuality in order to live a life that doesn't belong to us anymore. On the other side of the coin, it's a story about how it's never too late to redefine those expectations, reclaim the reins of our own fate. It's also a story to show how nothing and nobody has only one side to them. People, roles, families- every single aspect of life that involves human beings is complex and multifacetic.

Aside from the excellent character (and character dynamic) exploration, the romance is also a very enjoyable element. JP and Molly have one of the sweetest, strongest and healthiest relationship dynamics I've read in a long time. Romance books could definitely learn from this couple, in order to have a humanly messy, yet thoroughly relatable portrayal.

This series is becoming one of my favorite romance series, even when I do leave some space between the readings- but that has more to do with my screwed reading schedule. Now, it may take me a bit to get to the last book (which I'm really looking forward to!) but I have no doubt it's going to be another winner.

Every time I read one of these books I think it was my favorite until I read the next one. I already connect so well with these books because of the music, but I connect so much more with JP! JP is so awesome and crazy and he and I have SO much in common.

So we already knew JP, but we didn't really know Molly. I LOVE how awkward and quite Molly is. When we are first introduced to her in Your Echo, we know that she's a HUGE Sherbrooke Station fan. I love how we get to see JUST how big of a fan she is right off the bat in Your Sound. I also love how quirky she was with her BFF Justine. Getting to see the "real" Molly before we saw the shy and awkward Molly was so nice to see! I loved seeing both sides of her. It was adorable to see her shy and nervous side around the band. But, I think my favorite part was to see how JP wanted to help bring her out of her shell.

Now, JP. I can't really type it that way, but I say that with a happy sigh. I've always loved this guy! He's the perfect amount of quirky and hyper, and it was just SO perfect that he's the one who spotted Molly. I truly adored his dedication to get her to break out of herself. My favorite part of this story though, was how truly vulnerable we got to see JP. We got to see this completely different side of him, even apart from him wooing Molly. There are so many layers to the men in this band, but I think JP has had the most layers yet. I was super excited to see those layers be revealed and him show how amazing he truly was.

JP and Molly together was, yet again, sickeningly cute! I love how these two awkward people really came together and helped each other so much! I love them both as individuals, but as a couple they are on a whole new level. I can't wait to see what comes of them in the next book. AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE COLE'S STORY!!

That was awesome! Man what a book! This is an

extraordinary story. It is so completely well written and

in the book. And it mentions others from the first few books.

I so cannot wait to read the next book

This is JP and Molly’s story. Molly is Stephanie’s friends from

Your Sound by Katia Rose is a phenomenal read! It's her best work to date and focuses on finding your true self and your inner strength.

I was completely engrossed in this third installment in the Sherbrooke Station series. It is smart, entertaining and filled with love, family and laugh-out-loud moments.

"There's actually a part of me that wants to be out there, a part of me that's fearless enough to throw my door open and complete the simple task of saying hello,.." - Molly

Molly is somewhat shy and awkward. She has social anxiety and does not have much confidence but, she does have an absolute love of music.

"I don't know what scares me more: the things I feel when I'm with her, or the emptiness that creeps in when I'm not." - JP

JP, is the funny one, the one that no one ever takes seriously.

When JP and Molly meet, they start up a friendship. Both want more but believe they are not good enough for the other.

Will they risk getting hurt for a once in a lifetime love?

I connected with Molly. Although she is shy and awkward, she is also smart and cute. I loved seeing her transformation from shy girl to the woman she becomes.

JP is the sweetest, most romantic character I have come across. The way he helps build up Molly's confidence as well as the friendship he provides is simply beautiful. He is also funny as hell!

This was an extraordinary read. If Katia Rose i not yet on your auto-buy list, she should be.

I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

“Your Sound” by Katia Rose comes out December 1st and you’re not going to want to miss out on reading this!

I know what I want to do now. I want to take her face in my hands and kiss her until she believes me, until she tastes the truth in my tongue. If words aren’t going to through to her, I want to show her with everything I’ve got- with my eyes and my hands and my lips on her skin, I want to point out everything that makes her amazing.

I loved reading “Your Sound”. Molly is socially awkward but JP has his own quirks and together they’re adorably awkward. I was laughing out loud seconds into reading this book. The part where she’s talking about her face mask and how it makes her look like Voldemort has drink sex with a mannequin had me laughing out loud. Can I just say I love how each chapter is a song and how Katia has the playlist at the beginning of the book. After I’m done reading I go make a playlist on Spotify of the songs. I can’t listen to music with words when I read because I get distracted... ADD probs 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Every girl deserves a man like JP. Also, I want to punch Paul... no one deserves a douche like Paul. Y’all I was reading the last part of the book on a plane and I may or may not have shed some tears. Lol I was trying to embarrass myself.

I Voluntarily Reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book! Katia Rose never seems to surprise me with the amount of talent and amazing choice of words. She can tell a story so flawlessly that it flows through the pages evenly and with beautiful fluidity. This story was no different except she placed a great amount of love and understanding. The subjects she explores through her stories are always shared with a great amount of respect and research. We readers can adapt to the story and be able to feel just like the characters do. J.P.'s story was a creative tale about living inside a box while trying to embrace the world. This is a beautiful representation on how individuals are sometimes not accepted or encouraged enough to embrace any character flaw or challenge that might come between them living their regular lives. I appreciate this story and look forward to Cole's story.

I really liked this book! I liked that JP brought Molly out of her shell and I loved the way their friendship developed! They were both quirky characters but also were liked alot by those around them!
Some of the french words were good when there was a translation for them, it certainly helped!
I thought they were wonderful together especially considering the feelings that developed! JP got Molly an interview for a job and needless to say since then its like a spark was ignited! When they get together its so life changing, thats how it comes across in the words written. There are also some rather beautiful words told and I feel so overwhelmingly happy for them as it seems it’s something they both really deserve!
But what happens when you don't believe you are worth it?? What happens if someone is hiding something....what happens if they can't just be.....
A really good story with some inspirational words!

I'm so in love with Your Sound. I've been invested in Sherbrooke Station from the beginning and Katia Rose has fastly become one of my favorite authors. The way she paints such a vivid image with words is what hooks you. Every book is a little bit different with that same motivational type quality.

JP and Molly's story is a story about hope and passion. It's about breaking away from being who everyone sees you as to the person who lives in your soul. It's about chasing your dreams and being exactly who you were meant to be.

When reading Your Sound I found myself inspired. I wanted to pack right then and explore Montreal. I wanted to change the entire course of my life ha.

I loved JP and Molly, I think they were exactly what the other needed. To see Molly grow and flourish on her new path. And getting to see this other side of JP and watch him face his turmoil. It was as if I was there with them, and that's what makes a great book.

I can't wait for more books by Katia Rose.

A 3.5. I have been desperately wanting a good new rock star romance series. I’m not totally sure this is it, but I did enjoy this book.
The hero has big Sagittarius energy and is a funny flirt. He’s also hiding that he has ADHD but not doing a very good job of it. Respect for the author for not making him the drummer like every other rock romance series.
The heroine suffers from social anxiety, but also happens to be a super fan of the band the hero is in. They form a sweet friendship that naturally evolves into more. The heroine comes out of her shell, but on her own terms. She also somehow becomes a sex goddess all do a sudden, which seemed slightly out of character.
The main plot was around the hero coming to terms with his family’s neglect. This was the focus of most of the third act and took me out of the story.
Anywho not sure if I’d read more but nevertheless an enjoyable experience.

Katia Rose is a new to me author.  On the strength of this book, it won't be the last time I read something of hers.

This really is a refreshing take on the Rock Star Boyfriend trope.  I particularly enjoyed the way that the author was able to bind JP's POV voice with the issues he faced.  The pacing, the bouncing from one thing to another, all combined to create a wonderfully well developed and likeable character.

But don't think that means that Molly was overlooked in the character development department.  Not at all.  She grew back into her true self throughout the story, with humour and emotion.

Put these two together, and you get a knockout of a story.  I devoured it.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Shy girl meets charismatic flirt in this latest installment of the Sherbrooke Station Series.

The main characters- JP and Molly- were both written with enough depth and backstory to connect to them as characters individually, but there was something missing for me when it came to the evolution of their romantic relationship. They built a strong rapport, and meshed very well together as friends; I wasn't swept away by their love.

Overall though, this was a pleasing addition to the series. If you've read and enjoyed the first two books in the series, give Your Sound a shot.

I really liked Your Sound and it was such a fun, light read with heart.

Katia Rose's writing definitely improved and this is my favourite book by her yet. She did a great job with Molly's social anxiety and JP's secret, that he doesn't name but is still obvious to the reader (or just me) from the start, showing the internal as well as external struggles.

But most of all, I truly enjoyed reading about them, their passions, insecurities, and relationship. They're a loveable quirky couple that it's hard not to fall for them, get attached to or sympathize with them!

I'm especially looking forward to Cole's story since his is the one I've been anticipating the most!

Sherbrooke Station is quickly becoming my favorite R&R romance series. Your Sound is the third book in the series which focuses on JP

The author did a fantastic job with this storyline. I felt it was so well written and captured the struggles with these characters perfectly. This one warmed my heart

I absolutely loved JP and Molly. They were perfect for each other. Their relationship was awkward and sweet and sexy. I couldn’t get enough of them.

I truly am a fan of this series and I can’t wait for the next one

I was honored to receive this as an ARC and this is my honest review

I loved reading JP and Molly's story. Molly is an socially awkward, shy roommate of Stephanie's, who is also a HUGE Sherbrooke Station fan. When JP accidentally opens the door to her room one day, he finds himself unable to stop thinking about her. Their initial interactions are stilted, especially on Molly's part, but as they see more of each other, only their own doubts and insecurities get in the way of love.

I love the characters in this series, and this was my favourite book so far. These stories always leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy! I'm off to read about Roxanne and Cole next.
