By the time he was fifteen years old, Clint Hunter of Philadelphia, had graduated school and the University—twice. With degrees in both Medicine and Law, at the age of seventeen, Clint still felt empty and dissatisfied. He struck up a bargain with his father, to be allowed four years to go West and see the lands, experience life, then return to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a doctor in the family practice. When he boarded the train west with fifty thousand dollars set up in a bank account, Clint had no way of knowing just how much his life would turn in a completely different way.
Clint is definitely a force to be reckoned with his time as a Texas Ranger, and especially once his ranch has been established. This outstanding western masterpiece of many heartwarming episodes is a little slow to begin with, but believe me, the more I read the better it developed into an extraordinarily outstanding review of our real old West!
No problem awarding five stars to this successfully descriptive rendition of how our old American West was probably finally conquered. Clint, and his supportive cast, waste no time in conquering the evil that they met as each new adventure unfolded! Outstanding storylines that successfully portrays a compassion that is unsurpassed with its never ending detailed gunfights and entertaining revelations about how our West was finally tamed. I was impressed with author's outstanding descriptive storylines, as they continuously bring justice in taming the is most destructive enemies. Too, the selection of characters definitely portrayed their assigned roles to perfection, as both good guys and bad guys, go above and beyond in quest of their goals. Great camaraderie among the good guys, as they set their goals and objectives of cleaning up the bad guys! Definitely recommend this compassionate masterpiece to all readers, regardless of your desired reading pleasure, as these heartwarming adventures will appease anyone's desired expectations. There are enough suspenseful moments, romantic interludes and ongoing gunfights to pacify anyone's desired expectations. Yeah, even you non-western enthusiasts will definitely enjoy this compassionately outstanding western masterpiece!😀

The story is interesting and there is adventure at every page. The action and the plot is very quick. I prefer a slower pace and a location description than action and adventure. Regardless it is a good book will keep you turning pages.
Really enjoyed this book. Great story line. Love all the characters. No fuss in what people are wearing or their character. Kept me engrossed right to end. Def reading book two. Thank uou
Enjoyed the book. Covered a long period of time and left out many details. I would of liked to know what happened while he was an Indian slave. His life with his wife was also neglected. This period could of been covered in several books.
The book seems to have a lot of true history. I believe the author did a lot of research on his subjects. I found it interesting more than entertaining.
Written like you are right there, shoulder to shoulder. I think I might have gotten powder burned a bit! Lol I think anyone would like this story. Thanks Mike!
This book is filled with great characters and action galore. A definite page turner. Would highly recommend this series to everyone that enjoys a great read.
Over the Past year I have read over 50 books, and, this one by FAR is the Best one I have Read yet. Was very hard to put down the book. Finished it in 3 days.
I previously previewed this outstanding western masterpiece under a different cover, and it was worthy of a re-read!
Try this series, you will definitely appreciate the Author's outstanding descriptiveness of each and every exciting adventure, as this is a fast moving rendition of realistic old western American folklore storytelling at its very best! Recommend to all readers, regardless of your reading pleasure!!!😃
I believe this book tells it pretty closely to how it was. It's really too bad that none of us will ever know for sure. The characters in this book are as strong as they come.
Clint Hunter at 17 leaves Philadelphia and heads to St. Louis then on to the mountains. He has many different adventures good and bad. First book of a series.
