This feb it will 2 years i decided i don't want to drink anymore. It is not like i was some alcoholic, but i did drink more than once per week. And then smth happened and i realised that i do not like taste and i do not like the effect of alcohol. And i havent drunken since then.
Despite this couple of days ago i started reading this book about Shichko method. They say it can be used to get rid of any addiction but Shichko and specifically this book describe it in relation to alcoholism.
It quite strongly reminds me of Allen Karr's method to give up smoking, i think it has the same basis.
Quite interesting read, finished a little bit more than 50%. I would like to see if i really can use this method for other addictions, in my case, food addiction.
The book itself is not the best and interesting read, but the method described is worth learning and using.
