In 1246 A.D (not Anno Domini) mankind continued to exist only by following a simple rule:
WORK AT NIGHT. SLEEP AT DAY. NEVER STEP OUT IN THE SUNLIGHT. IF YOU DO, YOU'LL DIE!

Maverick Ciekawy had everything a common man could aspire for. He was respected, acknowledged and even worshiped by the citizens of the dark village, Tenebro. But now, Maverick Ciekawy has nothing of that.

Twenty three years ago, the villagers tired to kill Maverick when he was a baby. Maverick's mother sacrificed herself so that her son could live.

Now, after twenty three years, Maverick Ciekawy is 'dead'.

Is he?

A year ago, before Maverick Ciekawy ‘died’ he experienced five strange dreams. In each dream, he witnessed a particular family living in the 21st century. Every time he woke up, his dreams gave answers to the problems happening in his village, Tenebro.

In Tenebro, under the rule of Jurisbard Huubrihaught, all children were admitted in the hospitals for treatment, people who crossed forty years lost their memories, senior citizens were forcefully admitted in the Asylum, fish became scarce, and most importantly, no one is allowed to go out during the day.

When Maverick believed his dreams could help the people of Tenebro, he ‘died.’ Did he?

Half the population of Tenebro believes Maverick Ciekawy is still alive and his final words were true. But the other half still stays supportive of their elderly chief, Jurisbard Huubrihaught.

You might be wondering...
Why humans should never step out in sunlight?
Why Maverick lost everything? What did he do?
Why the villagers tried to kill Maverick when he was a baby?
Why Maverick 'died' after 23 years?
Why everyone loved Maverick when they actually tried to kill him when he was a baby?
What were Maverick's final words?
Is Maverick Ciekawy still alive?

Welcome to the first book in the EA-R-TH trilogy. Pull up your hoodies, lit a fire torch, step into the cold nights of Tenebro, and say bye-bye to the 21st century. Get into an epic story where you must decide WHO IS THE HERO, WHO IS THE VILLAIN!

“If something reaches its pinnacle it will be destroyed and started from the beginning. Change is the only constant.”

EA-R-TH follows the story of Maverick, a brilliant boy, whose invention changed the lives of people in Tenebro. Everything seems to be going well until one day (because they sleep in the day and work at night) he starts having some bizarre dreams. After pondering upon the dreams he unearths the conspiracy. Or atleast he thinks so. Is he telling the truth or has he gone mad? And more importantly, is he still alive after what happened at end of the book?
Oh, did I mention that the people of Tenebro think the sun is dangerous? If you step in sunlight you'll burn.

This book was a page tuner. It was full of suspense and mystery and I'm still scratching my head wondering about it.

Plot:★★★★★
It was simply AMAZING! Creative, brilliant and unique, the plot definitely makes the book stand out from the crowd.

Characters:★★★★½
There were multitude of different characters in the village. I absolutely loved Maverick and gang. The author got very creative with the names of the characters(good luck trying to pronounce them😜)

Writing:★★★
It was simple, easy to read. However, if you are a grammar nazi like me you might find it difficult to get through it. But the plot was gripping enough for me to keep reading.

Overall:4.5 stars!
I'm looking forward to the next book in the trilogy!

“The society always listens to the winner's lie, not the loser's truth.”

If you're looking for an immersive plot which will keep you thinking about what the truth actually is, look no further. I'd recommend this book to suspense, thriller and dystopia readers.

This would be a special book for those who love mystery elements in a story. The entire walk through of the novel is suspenseful. The most interesting point in this book would be its ending. An ending that prompts a question in the readers mind.

Great piece of work from a debut author.

Tenebro, Maverick, Sugaall, Irascias, Velvebloo, Bulwarking....you guys may be thinking that I am trying to speak another language but these are some of the names of the characters and other terms I got to know in this brilliant book....intrigued?!! Don't you feel like knowing what these words mean in the story as a character or being just the term🤪?!
.
Tenebro, a village surrounded by mountains, this is where everything happens and by happens I mean all those weird daily routines of living in the night and sleeping in the day, having only fish, eggs and wheat as food products, people getting classified into 4 categories according to their job preferences when they reach their age etc (4 categories being the Bulwarking:dealing with construction and invention; Fisheries:working as a fisherman; wheat cultivation:agricultural jobs; poultry:chicken raised particularly for eggs where women are only fit to take the job). They all live according to the strict rules of a council which is run by a very strict chief and they believe that the sun, which is called by the name the EYE BURNER will kill them if exposed; turns them into ashes within seconds.
.
It's obvious that there will be "rebels" in every societies or organisations and this time it's Maverick, our protagonist, who invented the most useful EYE BURNER BLOCKER which gave people time to get prepared for the dusk dawn "concept". He strongly questions some observations which he made during his lifetime to bring a change. Will he be able to do that?!
.
Well, that's how the story develops and oh my god!!! This was something different and unexpected. It's written so perfectly that the readers will be taken back to another era. The character development and the required "detailings" of the situations were spot on. Simple and lucid language which will definitely make us imagine an "out of the world" scenario. A great book which will blow your mind and will give you a goosebumps "attack" especially in the final chapter.
.
It's book 1 of EA-R-TH trilogy and I'm eagerly waiting for the next ones. It's the debut work of @i_am_rajavelu Keep writing and entertain us more❤️

Earth tells the story of our world ages from the present. The world is set in future where people work at night and sleep during the day. There is a belief among them that stepping out in the sun, or Eye Burner as they call it, will burn them to death. When the twenty two year old Maverick Ciekawy starts seeing dreams of a world different from theirs he starts questioning everything he was led to believe in.
.
The concept of the story was a unique one. The world is set out in future but the lifestyle people led was very basic showing how after reaching it’s maximum potential things began anew on earth. I liked the character of Maverick. His curiosity, his wish to be different and do something that would benefit not just himself but everyone. His friends who sometimes supported him and other times doubted him but never once left his side were a great addition to the story.
.
Though it’s written in an intriguing way to keep the readers turning the pages, the pace of the book is slow and there isn’t much happening in the first half. The name of each and every character was complicated and I found them hard to pronounce. Overall a good read whose sequel I would be looking forward to!

EA-R-TH is the debut book by Rajavelu. This is the story about the poeples in 1246 AD. Maverick Ciekawy is the protagonist of this story, who is 22 year old boy. The peoples in his village believes that the sunlight is harmful for their life and if they went out from their home in day, they would be burned to ashes. They called sun as 'Eye Burner'. Everyone in his village believes this myth. Maverick saw some nightmares and he started to question the council and their belives. He find that the sunlight is not harmful for humans. But no one believed his words. All of them turned against him. At last he sacrifice his life to prove this truth.
Is he actually die? What are the dreams he saw in his sleep? Can he prove the truth in front of the council?
All this questions are answarerd in this book.

The narration of the book is good and I really like the idea of this book. It is unique story and the characterisation is outstanding. The book cover and the title is amazing. Author used simple language and it help readers to understand the story.

I really love the ending and it is unexpected. I love all the characters, especially the hero and his gang. I'm looking forward to the next series of this book.

Over all it is a good read. I recommend this book to all the book lovers and especially for the science fiction lovers.

A different read, i am getting to read many books that are different from each other, this is one of them. A story that runs in night and a person whose invention takes him high and after a decade things start changing, new dreams and new things learnt the guy starts to feel that his own invention is a causing more harm to the villagers than protection.
Thus his reputation starts falling and everyone who respected him start humiliating him. How he learns about the conspiracy around the village and how he tries to prove his point is the story, that is awaited for the sequel of the book.
The book is exciting and a well written story so far by the author. I will be looking ahead for his next work.

EA-R-TH: Age of NeOlwd by Rajavelu is the first book in the sequel. It is a mystery and fantasy fiction. FYI: don’t search the meaning for the word ‘NeOlwd’, because you will not find it anywhere unless you read this book. Because I did the same as you scratched your head now. To know more grab your copy.

“WORK AT NIGHT. SLEEP AT DAY. NEVER STEP OUT IN THE SUNLIGHT. IF YOU DO, YOU'LL DIE!”

Doesn’t the above rule sound strange? Yes, it is strange and this is how people in 1246 A.D believed and lived their life. This story is all about a village named Tenebro. People of the village believed strongly that if they expose themselves to the sunlight, they would be burned to ashes. They named the sun as ‘Eye Burner’. So they worked from dusk to dawn.

Maverick Ciekawy is the protagonist who is a 22 year old boy. At the age of 10, Maverick invented a machine to block the eye burner and named it as Eye Burner Blocker (E.B.B). He was praised and appreciated for his invention and he became inspiration to the people of the village.

Blardece, Lidrolla and Velvebloo were his best friends. They were with him in the happy and tough times. Everything was going well, until Maverick had begun to see strange dreams in his sleep. He shared it with his friends. He saw things related the eye burner and found that it is not harmful to human life.

Maverick told this to the chief of the village Jurisbard Huubrihaught and told him to dismantle E.B.B. This caused the upturn of his life. People once who considered Maverick as inspiration now treated him as a maniac. At last he is dead. But few people tell he is alive and few say he is gone forever.

Is he alive or dead?
What really Maverick dreamt about?
Why did he stand against the council?

This book is a roller coaster read. It keeps you glued until the last page. Plot is unique and the narration is brilliant. Language is lucid and even the beginners would understand. Character development was done well. Unique character names attracted me much. Love and support shared among the four friends was touching. The humor at times made me laugh out loud. If you are looking for an adventurous read then this book is for you. I highly recommend to everyone.

"In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer."
This quote by Albert Camus encapsulates the essence of Rajavelu T's "EA-R-TH Age of NeOlwd," a gripping tale set in a village where sunlight is lethal, and the inhabitants must live by strict rules to survive. The story follows Maverick Ciekawy, believed to be dead but rumored to still be alive, as he navigates a world controlled by Jurisbard Huubrihaught, where children are hospitalized, the elderly are imprisoned, and memories are lost after forty. Through Maverick's journey and his mysterious dreams, Rajavelu T weaves a narrative that challenges societal norms and explores themes of freedom, identity, and the resilience of the human spirit. The world-building is rich and immersive, drawing readers into a dystopian society that feels both alien and eerily familiar."

GENRE - THRILLER, SCI-FI
OVERALL RATING - 4/5
🌞🌜
THE STORY:
This book is about a village in Tenebro where everyone believes that Sun ( referred to as the Eye Burner ) is so harmful to humans that anyone who tried to be under it will be burnt to ashes. Hence a boy named Maverick Ciekawy invents the Eye Burner Blocker to save the villagers.
Because of this belief the daily chores in the village take place during the night.
Maverick has everything, good food, respect, acknowledgment every thing that a common man aspires for. But still he falls himself in a situation where everyone in his village starts considering him insane. Why?? What happened that made Maverick the great to maverick insane?
🌞🌜
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The book is a unique mixture of science fiction and thriller that tells us about the daily lives of people if Sun would be harmful enough to burn us. Honestly i haven't read a book with such a plot before.
The book also has a generous dose of drama and a great focus on socio- political power struggles. So if you are picking up this book, expect some elements of actions, adventure and survival struggle.
🌞🌜
WHO CAN READ?
The book makes use of a simple language that doesn't require much effort on the part of reader. The book can be easily read by a biginner level reader.
Only thing that was difficult for me was to pronounce the names correctly. Though each and every name used had a meaning hidden in it, but still it was a bit difficult for me.
🌞🌜
HOW GOOD ARE THE CHARACTERS?
Amazing. Each and every character, be it in a negative role or with not so important role, every character was depicted and described so good that i was wondering if i could once get a chance to meat them (😅 how silly of me!)
🌞🌜
LAST SAY..
Please go for it. Its wonderful! I was so much emerged in it that i didn't wanted it to end!

MY REVIEW:-⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The cover of book is dark and elegant. Title is unique and eye-catchy. The lamguage is easy and lucid. However, story begins with a village name tenebro which is surrounded by mountains. Here, people stay awqke and do work in night ,while sleep sleep in day light. They eat only fish, egg and wheat as food. Here, people do only four kind of jobs that are bulwarking (construction and invention), fisheries (fisherman), agricultural jobs (wheat cultivation), poultry ( chicken raised for eggs where, only women are allowed to do the job) . all people live according to the strict rules of council which is run by a chief and they believe that the sun, which is called as eye burner will kill them if they expose themselves into sun and they will turn into ashes within seconds. Well, our protagonist maverick who invented eye burner blocker which helped people to prepare for dusk and dawn. He strongly questions some observations and his confusive dreams to bring a change in lifestyle of tenebro people. Will he be able to do that! To know more just go through the book. This book is something different and unexpected. Author has penned down very perfectly which take readers to another era. The narration and character detailing is amazing😍 book has covered all minute details and truly, it is full bunch of mystery, thriller, crime, suspense which holds the reader till last page. And surely, it will bring chills down your spine and you'll experience shock and give you goosebumps during reading, especially during the end.
In conclusion, i can't believe it is a debut book of author. He has written so beautifully that i really really enjoyed reading. You'll find character name little tricky and hard to pronounce but it is because author has chosen such name according to characters personality. For instance, Jurisbard Huubrihaught Derived from:
Jurisdiction - The official power to make legal decisions and judgements
Bard - A poet
Hubris - Excessive pride or self-confidence
Haughty - Arrogantly superior and disdainful
Structure: Juris-bard Huubri-haught
Meaning: The one with excessive pride and authority. A rigid leader.
In the same manner, other characters name are given🙈. this is very intriguing and unique❤. Moreover, this book is perfect read for people who love mystery and suspense as this book is full of suspense from start till end. And oh yes, end will prompt a question in readers mind and leave one in deep thought. Such a great piece written by author🙈 i'm looking forward for it's sequel❤. And i highly recommend this book to all readers💯 give it a try it's worthy. Must must must read❤
Thank you so much🌸

I'EA-R-TH' - Age of Newold by Rajavelu is a highly imaginative fiction. This book is the first book in earth trilogy.

The story revolves around a fictional village Tenebro and its inhabitants. The plot is unique and ingenious. The whole setting is solely developed by the author's creativity. The protagonist 'Maverick' is in his early teens, his sensibility and intelligence amaze the villagers. The whole village is afraid of an eye burner but Maverick suprises them with his new invention to save them from their nightmare.

The villagers do reputed jobs like bulwarking, fisheries, wheat cultivation and poultry. Bulwarking is the prestigious job because it deals with new inventions for the welfare of people, everyone strives to get placed in bulwarking but Maverick is quite different. The corruption in bulwarking makes him choose wheat cultivation.

His sensibility and prudence in this young age marks him as a powerful protagonist in this fantasy novel. Maverick's dream intreprets and senses the danger in the village. But he dies without saving them from the forthcoming danger.

The story ends after raising so many questions in the readers' mind. I read an exquisite imagination after a while. The characters' names, the setting, the plot, everything is unique and impressive.

The author has weaved a gripping fantasy that makes the readers' remember all the names of the characters though it is complex and intricate.

From the initial to the final point, the story intrigues the readers. There are few typo errors nevertheless the character sketch was excellent and has an apt portrayal of fantasy essence in their demeanour.

𝑻𝑰𝑻𝑳𝑬: EA-R-TH
𝑨𝑼𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑹: RAJAVELU
𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑴𝑨𝑻: 𝑷𝑨𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑩𝑨𝑪𝑲
𝑮𝑬𝑵𝑬𝑹: MYTHOLOGICAL THRILLER

The title and the book cover are quite intriguing. This book is all about the story of a brilliant boy, who was born in daylight, while the whole village of Tenebro's inhabitants is working at night and sleep at day fearing the myth. Tenebro inhabitants blindly believe in a myth which was protected by the invention of the protagonist Maverick and later while he realises the various mental and physical illnesses in the contemplation of the myth he tries to save the Tenebro. But the whole Tenebro council and inhabitants ditched him. How he has related all the dreams he had regarding the truth?
And how he has researched to make the Tenebro people believe his dream?
How did he bring out the people from the blind myth? Did he sacrifice his life to save the people or what happens to him? to know the story read this book.

This story is very enthralling and mysterious. While I reading this book I thought what happens next? what happens next? Pakka page-turner. The new sort of world that has been witnessed in this book has the massive power of ingenuity. All the elements, habitats, and people are radially described by the author.

All the scenes will flash in your mind throughout the read. The author has tactically moved the myth and the dream theory. One can't just hold the scene as this would happen next. Twists give more thrill to the plot.

Characters are strongly built. The plot is intriguing. The storyline never misses you to buckle up. Overall this book is an epitome of a Mythological Thriller.

Overall, I recommend this book to all.

EA-R-TH by Rajavelu is a thrilling tale of mystery and survival. This is a book of the trilogy. The story revolves around Maverick and his village Tenebro. The village is surrounded by mountains where people work at night and sleep in daylight. People live under the strict rules of the council governed by a chief and they believe that the sun would kill them and they call it eye burner. Maverick, our protagonist invents EYE BURNER BLOCKER and becomes the hero of the village. Maverick gets a series of dreams which give answers to the problem faced by the village. But people do not believe in his dreams. So there starts the story of hope.
It is a unique book that takes us to another era. I adored the narration. The writing is flawless. The Author's description makes everything vivid. This is a brilliant start for a series. Eagerly wait for the next one. The language is simple and easy to read.
Every character is unique and intriguing. I adored the characters name which was little difficult to understand at first but didn't take long time to make you immerse in the story. It was a great book that will give you goosebumps. I enjoyed it from first to last. It was a pleasant experience to read this book which happens in a fictional world. I adored the concept of the book. The Author has kept us hooked from start to finish. Science, politics, fiction, love, friendship everything has my heart. There was twists and turns which keeps us engaging. It was a outstanding book with a fusion of mystery and science.
Overall, I loved and enjoyed this book and would strongly recommend it to all.

This is a story about Maverick and his village Tenebro. Maverick, once a famous child, because of his inventions 10 years ago is now being called a lunatic by the villagers. Why, you ask? It is because of a series of dreams he gets which gives him the answer to the problems the village is facing. But people don't trust him or his dreams. So there starts a strange journey of Maverick and his fight for justice, a fight for good days for his village, and a fight of hope.

All the while I read this novel, it gave me the feels of the Divergent series, yes it's that amazing. It is so interesting and I was so hooked to this book that I carried it everywhere I went for the past few days, while I was reading it. The language, the characters, everything is so perfect. You would feel that the entire scene is taking place in front of your eyes. I liked all the positive characters so much that it's difficult for me to choose one. I haven't read such a book in a few years and I am glad I picked it up. If you like the dystopian genre then go for this. And even if you haven't read this genre then this is a great book to start with.
P.S. You are going to find the names of the characters in this book to be a little tricky and different at first but don't worry after around 20 pages you'll get hold of them. Also, don't try to understand the title of the book now, that also would be clear once you read this.
I am eagerly waiting for the second book now. It is highly recommended from my side.

"EA-R-TH: Age of Neolwd" written by author Rajavelu is a gripping and mysterious novel that takes readers on a journey to the village of Tenebro. This first book in the EA-R-TH trilogy pulls readers into a thirteenth-century setting where humans survive by adhering to a strict rule: work at night🌛, sleep during the day⛅, and never step out into sunlight☀️, for doing so would result in certain death.

The central character, Maverick Ciekawy, is both endearing and intriguing. His journey from a baby to an adult is filled with twists and turns, and his determination to save his village is admirable. The author's exploration of the effects of fear😨 on a community and the lengths to which people will go to protect themselves and their loved ones is both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant.

Author Rajavelu expertly weaves a suspenseful tale, immersing readers in the chilling atmosphere of Tenebro. The author's writing style is concise and engaging, allowing the story to unfold at a rapid pace. Overall, "EA-R-TH: Age of Neolwd" is a must-read for fans of dystopian fiction and mystery, with its compelling storyline, well-developed characters, and immersive setting💖🌞

Short summary: It's a story of people living in a time when they work at night and sleep during the day as they fear that the sun will burn them down. And a guy, Maverick, tries to reverse it for some reason.
That's it! Revealing any further will simply take away your fun. Well, the whole time I was reading this book, I knew I'm gonna rate this 4 stars. As I liked everything- the story, characterization, visualization provided, and everything, except that there were quite a lot of editing mistakes for this kind of an amazing book. But, as I proceeded towards the ending, my opinion started juggling between 4 stars and a 5 and as I read the finishing line, it was soo good that there was no doubt about giving 5 stars.
It is just wonderful. Especially the characterization-it's perfect!! just perfect. Authors do a lot of work on the protagonist, but thanks to the author here, even the small characters got justice. He has expressed a lot by writing little about them, which makes this book perfect!
Also, I have high hopes now, for the next book that has continued story. It better be a masterpiece too...
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR each and every thriller lover.

Spellbound! This was the word that came straight out of my mouth when I finished reading one of the most thrilling read of this year.

Tenebro, a village has some strange practices. Some of the most weird one were categorising job preferences on the basis of age, having some certain kind of food in one's diet and also working during the night and sleeping during the day as they believe Sun's rays will kill them. Such deep rooted superstitions are questioned by Maverick after he saw some dreams or rather one should call them nightmares but then suddenly he is deemed to be dead. But is he actually no more?

Read the book to find it out.

This novel is not some random thriller which one gets to read every now and then. Though it is fictional but the way the story is intricately woven with unfamiliar character names speaks volumes about author's imagination. The writing style is decent and I dint find many errors in the book.
Though the cover could have been way more better for a book of this level.

Looking forward to read more in this series.

I received the book in excellent condition and the delivery was pretty fast .

So moving further with the review I would like to give you blurb of the storyline :-

It is a trilogy based in a spine chilling world where stepping out in the sun could kill you and fishes were scarce, lived Maverick Ciekawy, who is said to be dead, but is he really dead?

Before he is said to be dead, Maverick dreamt 5 dreams. All based on families living in the 21st century. After every dream, he got solutions of a problem of his village, Tenebr but when he tried to help his village, he was said to be dead. What happens next? Do the villagers believe in Maverick or their chief Jurisbard Huubrihaught? Why do they live in a completely opposite system? Why are elders forcefully admitted to asylums? This trilogy will stay in your brain and creep down your spine. A perfect combination of horror and fiction, this trilogy could be your next favourite !

The story plot is one of it's kind and very very interesting. The way the author has set up all the scenes is very nice. You can easily connect with the book and will feel that you are living the story. The names, the character portrayal everything is perfect. Maverick's character was damn relatable to me. I enjoyed the whole book, lots of dialogues, thrill, secrets, mystery and what not. One thing I loved the most is the way author explained the protagonist's dreams, as it creates such a mystery and looks so raw as if we are from that place. Great work! Waiting for the next one.
