omg this is such a beautiful story!!

its about a girl who decides to try old fashion ways of getting a date, this dating company she goes to asks you to write a letter about yourself, then they match you up with someone, you both send each other 3 letters each and if after the 3 letters you want to meet a date is organised,

its a really romantic story with a small twist at the end,

I however would have loved for the story to continue for longer maybe more than 3 letters being passed before a date so we could see a better character connection forming between the letters,

that being g said it was such a good book and its a really good book I think to break up your reads if you read alot of heavy fantasy or dark romance, perfect little romance read!

Love was there all along
Ella wants to find love & romance so she enlists the help of Grace Graham and her non technological matchmaking skills. Finn is her roommate & is not happy that Ella is going to a matchmaker because he's been secretly wanting her for while now but is afraid to take it to the next step. What if she didn't feel the same & it ruined everything?! But he's got a plan that hopefully doesn't blow up in his face. Through a 'glitch' Ella is matched with 2 possible matches. This story is fun & heartwarming as well as romantic & steamy. Perfect read for the Valentines season.

The Matchmaker Series is a collaboration of short stories by different authors linked in the same world. Grab some coffee or wine if you prefer. Get comfy and prepare to be romanced into Valentine's just as these authors know how to do. Swooning!! I love, love, love these short stories of romance with just enough steam to keep it more interesting

This is truly an amazing book that I could not put down whatsoever. Ella is believes in true love and finds out about a matchmaker that has the pair write letters. Of course theres a mix up and she gets two letters. Finding out about who her matches truly are was awesome and definitely a perfect match for her. Great story.

I had fun with Ella’s journey to find love. She hasn’t had the best luck and connects with a matchmaker that uses letter writing to connect her matches. When she ends up corresponding with Gavin and Mr. X, she finds herself torn between two great guys each one igniting different ideas and passion in her mind. Her roommate Finn is quite a character along with her best friend Jess. This is a fun, sexy romance that provided a great escape.

A Very Funny storyline...
Dear Future Husband (The Matchmaker Series), by author Angel Devlin is one of the funniest in the series. The match is between Ella, a dressmaker and two men, Gavin and Mr X. She was given two names because the Matchmaker supposedly screwed up. But, did she? Thrown into this mix is Ella’s hot and studly roommate, Finn who is not too happy with her decision to try this avenue. So needless to say being a guy, will he be supportive or juvenile about it?
The author does an outstanding job with writing Romcom scenes and dialogue so it’s for these reasons I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment. I am also leaving this review for your consideration. Happy Valentine’s Day. Peace.

Dear Future Husband by Angel Devlin a five-star read you will want to be shackled to. This was everything I have come to expect from this author, fun and flirty with a great story mixed in. This was crazy amazing, just thinking about starting a letter Dear Future Husband is crazy and I thought my marriage was rushed, but I loved the way it went. All I can say is hurry up and get a copy of this, you won’t be disappointed. Now onto other matters, where can I get me a sexy gold dress.

I loved this story. It was fun and romantic. I liked that the theme was so unique and different from the others. I laughed a lot when reading it and also felt the pain and hurt in the characters. A very well written romance story that has very likeable characters in it. Their chemistry is amazing when they open up and let go. The story flowed well of the pages and it liked the writing style and use of words. It made the story more believable. It is written in dual POV which gave me more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and that made it feel real.
Ella is a quiet young woman who has her own shop with her best friend. Her living conditions is as a roommate to her male friend Finn. They are very good friends but only that.
I like the twist of the story a lot. Really nice thinking. It caught me from the first to last chapter. In spite of the short length of the story it was really worth the read. I do usually not give a five star review to stories of this lenght but this one deserves it.
A story about seeing what is just in front of you!

This was just… I nearly dnf’d it - but read on to see if the ‘twist’ was what I thought it would be. And it was.
I think it’s the dialogue - it’s ‘on the nose’ as Jerry Jenkins would say.
“I know I’m hot, but please close your mouth, there’s a draft.” (p. 14).

Ugh.
And if I’m editing, the story has lost me.
“Read it out loud. I want to know what she said.” Finn yelled. (p. 16).

Yelled at what? If he yelled it, it should be part of the earlier sentence. No full stop. And would you yell all that?
“Ella. I don’t have a Valentine’s because I don’t need a girl going all gaga goo-goo eyes at me and seeing all the proposals and telling me how lovely it is, and how they hope for that one day.” (p. 101).

Why is there a full stop after Ella?
And stop saying people’s names all the time.

This is great addition to the "Matchmaker" series. These are all stand alone reads that are unrelated with the exception of Grace. All of these stories are so different but focus on meeting through Grace the matchmaker. Grace has a different take on matchmaking that is a little old school. It's a refreshing approach to meeting your perfect match. This is a sweet and very steamy story that is a fairly quick read. It's a great plot that is well written, especially for the length. I loved Ella and Finn! The chemistry between them is off the charts in several ways! You get passion and steam in the form of a letter and a little at the end. I love the dialogue and humor in this story!!!! Sometimes you don't realize what you wanted is right in front of of you!

What a great story!! This book was an awesome read! How do you go through life with a grumpy, hot roommate and still need to find the love of your life in order to feel complete. Ella and Finn were thrown together when Ella's previous roommate bailed to move in with her boyfriend. She left her hanging but brought her Finn. Finn is Finn, he is sexy, funny and too good looking for one book editor to be. Ella is ready to meet her future husband and signs herself up on a dating site called What a Heart Wants. Ella doing this has lit a fire under someone but can they pull everything off so that it is all legit? This is the story of how two roommates find HEA, together.

Our heroine uses the matchmaker service looking for a date, but gets two responses.

This is another story in the loosely connection Matchmaker series. Each story is written by a different author and feature different settings and couples, but they share the same common starting point, in this case employing the help of the Matchmaker.

We get a bit of a twist in this one in that our heroine has two suitors, not just one. As you might expect, both options are good, just in very different ways. We get to enjoy the ride as she tries to make this hard choice on the way to her HEA. Perfect for a nice evening read.

Highly recommended.

Ok, first of all I got this for free, so I'm not going to b*tch about it (just for the hell of it)...
Now, there are a few things I like to know before I add a book to my looong list of "to read", you might too so here it goes:
Is it a standalone? Yes
Does it have a cliffhanger, in case it isn't? —————
Does it have a HEA? Yes

Now here's what's I think of this book (and happened to me):
Is it the best book I've ever read? No
Is it the worst? Not even close...
Did it make me smile? Yes
Laugh? Yes
Cry? No...
Did it annoy me? No!
If I knew what it was like first-hand, would I read it? Yes, I'm more of a slow burn kind of girl, but yes! This is fast paced and light-hearted reading (but it was 🔥 scenes), but it was NOT a waste of time, I enjoyed it!

Ella owns a dress shop and she's tired of being lonely. When she hears about a dating site that does things 'old school', she's intrigued. When she signs up, she gets two letters in return, one sweet and romantic and the other hot and erotic. What will happen when she's finally meets these two potential husband's face to face? ( *don't want to spoil anything.....so stop reading now. ) Or will it be someone she's always wanted? Dear Future Husband is a sweet romantic book just in time to make your Valentine heart race.

This was a fantastic story. It was quick but great.

Ella wants to find love so she signs up for a matchmaker services, What the Heart Wants. She tells her roommate, Finn about it and he mocks her. He has kept quiet about his feelings for her. He contacts the owner to be matched with her. Ella is excited to be matched with two people who give her two different things. She wants to meet them but doesn't want to go alone. She asks Finn to go along and help her if need be. How will she react when she finds out the truth?

Dear Future Husband has been the perfect short story to read this Valentine’s Day.

I loved the storyline, especially around Ella choosing to use Grace Graham’s unique dating service. It was a fabulous way to find potential love interests and I’m certain all us romance readers will have enjoyed this. I was delighted that Ella didn’t shy away from using her own words, and I loved the conclusion to this story too.

This is a fun, sweet and sexy quick read which I enjoyed immensely. I love that I chose to read this novella on Valentine’s day but to be honest it would be the perfect read any day of the year.

Ella and her bestie own a boutique and it's the time of year that woman come into the store to shop for their perfect Valentine's Day outfit, and as both single ladies Ella and Jodi dread with seeing the way they are all happy in love. Ella is a hopeless romantic and when a customer says she seen an advertisement about a matchmaker that does it old school by sending letters to the other person before getting to see what they looked like. Ella couldn't help but think how amazing it would be and maybe she could fall in love by the end of the year. Especially since she had not one but two possible matches fighting for her heart.

Great novella

I really enjoyed reading Dear Future Husband, I thought the premise was unique and a delight to read. I really liked Ella and Finn their dynamic played out really well. I loved that Ella was a romantic and was looking for romance as well as steam. Finn had me smirking at his actions, he really did come across as the mischievous flatmate... I really liked him and how he developed. The idea of writing love letters felt old school but had the romantic vibes that we all long for. I felt Dear Future Husband was written really well and the alternative chapters between Ella and Finn really gave an insight into both characters. I absolutely loved how this novel played out.
