Living Hell, a fake engagement with a recipe for disaster...
Tyler and Iona fell in love in high school but it didn’t last. So many years later when she came back home, well there was still something in the air, a mix of angst, sexual tension and of course the weight of all the unsaid things and unsolved relationship. Maybe it was time to get closure, right?
I appreciated the colorful characters and the craziness in the air, everything going on fast paced but sometimes I felt like the chemistry was off. And mostly driving me crazy but I guess it was the point.
I appreciated reading about these two former lovers with their heavy baggage, when the hate and love were definitely blurred. I was looking forward to reading Tyler’s story and found about that woman who crushed his heart. For someone who was supposed to be over, he was acting the contrary. Iona knew how to push his buttons like no one else.
Some situations were pretty hilarious and I enjoyed Elizabeth Lynx’s sarcastic humor. I usually didn’t mind some craziness and wildness in a story but sometimes it was going off in all different directions that made lost my focus at times. It was a great enemies to lovers story but the scenario was just a bit too much to me.

As usual from this author, this book was light, sweet and full of twists.
It's a standalone that is also part of the Lost And Found series, and this time we get to read about Tyler (who we met in Cabin Fever) and Iona.
It's also a sweet second chance romance featuring high school sweethearts.
Both Tyler and Iona had a rough path. His parents couldn't care less about him and lived a life full of deceit and lies. And even though she had a loving mother, her life was a constant struggle.
Soon enough, they learned that people weren't trustful and the sooner you could get on your own two feet, the better.
The amazing part, though, is that in the past they had each other, and their love was pure and genuine...until it ended.
But did it?
Eleven years have passed, both of them mourning the death of a love they once lived for. But there are so many lies out there, so many people seeking for dirt that doesn't even exist just to spite and hurt people. So when they are forced to be together again, it's a breath of fresh air, even if they start telling their own lies: a fake engagement.

Omg this author never disappoints and the often comical yet very steamy story of tyler and iona was amazing. I'd been waiting to learn more about the veterinarian and iona is a perfect match. Can't wait for the next book

And the wonderful Elizabeth Lynx has done it again, ladies and gentlemen! We all need a Tyler in our lives to support us, and an Iona in our lives to keep us on our toes! I was enthralled by Living Hell, the second in her Lost & Found series, a standalone, but in a town you recognize, with a simply fantastic cast of secondary characters, some that you already know well, some that you’re just getting to know and know you’ll get to find more about someday! (At least, that’s what I’m hoping for!)
However, back to the story at hand, the surprise laugh inspiring, heart wrenchingly touching, second chance love story between high school sweethearts and every single possible thing that could have gone wrong between them before they somehow find themselves under the same roof over a decade later. Through misunderstandings, misguided attempts at helping, a snake in the grass that took the story for quite the tense filled exciting spin and two people that simply needed that reminder of why they were good together, and how much better they could be together now, Tyler and Iona are imperfectly perfect together. Living Hell deals with some sensitive subjects in a very considerate and loving manner, and just showcases the care, the understanding, and the amazing grasp that Elizabeth has on human nature, on what keeps us ticking, and what ultimately makes us happy, regardless of whether pickle juice is involved or not!
This story made me laugh out loud with its candidness, made my heart ache with its understanding of how we hurt, and what we can try and do about it, how people can try to tear others apart, and how people can try and help put others together again. It was poignant, it was hilarious, it was sweet, it was just a little bit dirty in the best possible way, and all in all the recipe for another fabulous story by Elizabeth Lynx!

If you love a good romcom that makes you laugh out loud, fun and sexy reads, second chance romance and meddling fools then Living Hell is the book for you. You will fall in love with Iona and Tyler. I loved this one so much. You feel the angst with Tyler from the start when things are finally looking up for him. Boom blast from the past and many misunderstandings ironed out once the truth finally comes out with what ended Iona and Tyler to begin with. Iona you feel for her in many ways and when you read this one you will understand. I love that even after all the years that have gone by the chemistry and pull between Tyler and Iona is so strong. I love them together. You will just love Iona's agent too. This is just a fantastically fun read that I couldn't put down. If you are familiar with Elizabeth Lynx then you know she always throws in some type of little twist in and I love what she did with Living Hell. If you are not familiar with her then what are you waiting for go pick up her books and get sucked into some amazing sezy romcom and characters that you will fall in love with. Go one click this one.

This story has romance, drama , sex and parts that are funny and I love reading this book. Iona meet Tyler is high school and they lost there virginity to each other but something happens and Iona moves away and years later she comes back home and things happen and in the end you learn what really happened and I recommend this book!!!!!

Love these quick reads that you just can’t put down. Tyler was the old flame to an actress Iona. Iona lived with her mom till she passed away. Iona wasn’t the same since she left this world for heaven. Iona’s agent set a plan to go away for a break and a come back, but she didn’t know that her old flame Tyler was involved till he walked into his house and heard someone in there making noise. They set up a rumor to help Iona get back on her feet but lots of misunderstandings and a whole lot of hurt for both their hearts. Will the truth come out or is it set in stone the pain from 11 years age carry on?

This second chance at love is fun,quirky, steamy and will entertain you from the first to the last page. Iona and Tyler where high school sweethearts until she moved to Hollywood to make it big! She is having some issues and has to move back home. I will not spoil the story, but it is so much fun! I honestly volunteered to review this arc

Iona Dell is an actress having some issues and is sent back to her hometown for a couple months by her agent. She ends up becoming roommates with her old flame, Tyler Ferguson. They haven't seen each other in eleven years. He's now the town vet and has grown into a sexy man from the lanky kid that Iona remembers. This book is full of hot sex and laugh out loud funny times. An excellent second chance romance with some drama and an evil Mayor.

I enjoy all romance and this one was a fun read. The push and pull was there but sometimes it felt as if their chemistry was off. The LOL parts were hilarious and the nasty one got his just deserts.

Living Hell is a second chance stand alone novel that is preceded by Cabin Fever. This book, who puts Iona, Hollywood Starlet gone wrong and Tyler, handsome local Vet, back together in circumstances that are often funny, often heart touching and generally an all and all great read. Formerly together, Iona has gone off to make it big in Hollywood, however, after a few unfortunate events Iona has come back to town in need of a helping hand. Tyler, saving up to make his dream come true is unwittingly put in the path of his former high school sweetheart. What else could happen but angsty fun and sexy times.
This book delivers a wonderful read with characters that you want to care about and inevitably get caught up in their lives and the outcome of tricky situations. Don’t waste your chance to be utterly charmed.

The relationship between Tyler and Iona is so complicated but I love the banter between them. Having to live with your high school sweetheart eleven years later can bring up some baggage deeply hidden. The way they ended in high school was so unresolved that it affected how they lived their lives. Tyler has baggage from his parents that has made him be honest to a fault. He can come off so abrupt that people become offended. Iona also craves honesty but she is an actress in Hollywood. She has to be so careful of whom she trusts. Tyler was not on that list. Her agent has the uncanny ability to talk her into things she may not have even thought she was capable of. The mystery twist in this book was one I didn't see coming. One person orchestrates so many things that I was amazed at this person's intelligence to make it all happen.

This was my first book by Elizabeth Lynx an found I really enjoyed her story and her real fun characters. Iona Dell a popular actress has returned to her hometown after having a bit of trouble in Hollywood, while hoping to figure out her next move with the help of her agent she comes face to face with the first man to break her heart. Tyler Ferguson is the local veterinarian and is ready to settle into his new home when he is surprised that someone is already in his home. This is where you will take a fun and entertaining ride with these two. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This book was highly entertaining and a page turner. Tyler and Iona have a history. They were friends in school that turned into more. Iona had dreams of making it big in Hollywood as an actress. She wanted to make a name for herself. Tyler has with his vet clinic. He has a name in town and has been working hard to accomplish his dream of owning a home. This goes up in smoke when Iona comes back to town. There's a mix up at first but soon it becomes much more then that. Feelings are still there and the more time they spend together the more they realize that. There's also dealing with the sleazy mayor and her manager. It has some sweet moments and some scary ones as well. This was a great book with characters you will love!

This is a second chance romance built from a pile of lies. It's cute and sweet at times, with a few splashes of fun sexy times. There's also a lot of back and forth with the story. It's a bit over the top for my liking, too much of the unnecessary drama... lies, creepy psycho bullies, missing stuff, drugs, FBI... the story feels like it has a slew of storylines going on all at once.

I found like book to be a little over the top. I didn't like the name Iona so it was annoying having to try and pronounce it in my head each time. However the whole being stuck in the house together since it was sold simultaneously was a little off, especially since they had a past, first loves. From the tension, and fighting, and also the weird explanations to why they just never connected after that fateful night was just a little off. Some of it was explained, and others you didn't find out until the end.
I still enjoyed this book, and the chemistry between the two was good. Just a little over the top for me at times.

Very good contemporary romance between an actress and veterinarian. Iona has always wanted to be a famous actress even to to the point of leaving her high school sweetheart behind. Tyler has worked hard and is considered the sexy town veterinarian who’s been anxiously waiting to buy his first home. Suddenly, his and Iona’s lives collide again after over a decade. This story has ups and down for each of the main characters. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Lynx.

I enjoyed this book it was fun, it did have some serious moments but I loved the chemistry of tyler and iona. But sometimes it felt like they were siblings because fought like cats an dogs, but eventually their love chemistry came back and they finally realized that they still had feelings for each other. They were determined to be together after all the hurt that had happened in the past.
Overall it was a good book definitely a fun read.

The first E Lynx book I read was Grumpy as Puck and it was a total disaster. I decided to give her another try with Living Hell. Living Hell was slightly better. I at least made it halfway before I DNF’d it. These characters are still very immature for late 20-somethings and at first, it was OK, but it quickly became very annoying. Tyler and I.D. have a history that isn’t good but is based on miscommunication (which may or may not be planned). Anyway, unless you have a lot of time to kill and an overabundance of patience, I’d pass on this one.

This is Dr Tyler Ferguson’s (who is the vet)story. He fell in love with Iona Dell in high school but she moved across the country to Hollywood, became a movie star and he never heard from her again. Iona is having problems with bad press and needs to reinvent herself. Her agent moves her back to her hometown and she and Tyler end up living in the same house due to the house being sold to Tyler and Iona’s Agent. There are laughs, steamy scenes, fights, a bully from their past and love.

Who doesn't love a good second chance romance?? This was a fast paced, easy read that is so well written that you won't want to put it down once you start it. There is some drama, misunderstandings, wrong numbers dialed, back stabbing politicians , little white lies told for the greater good, sad issues from the past and eventually happiness all around. Iona and Tyler are great characters, but Iona could be bratty at times. (She's a Hollywood starlet after all).

This is the 2nd book in the Lost and Found series. Iona need to regroup. Her career needes a break. Her agents send her back home to take a little bit of time off. Little does she know but her agent send her to a house that is owned by Tyler her high school sweet heart and tricks them into living together. They have to agree to be engaged for a bit then she will give the house back to Tyler. This was a great second chance romance. I enjoyed reading this book.

This was one of the story's that at first your like ok... Second chance for love, two high school sweethearts.. The author did tell a story that is a believable one. Misunderstandings and some ugly things that people like to say that they don't know just want to cause trouble. There was parts where I actually laughed out loud, then were parts that I was like wow and even some little dirty parts that made you dig a little deeper.

How do you mourn the death of the love for someone that was long ago? After being left heartbroken, Hollywood it girl, Iona Dell never thought she'd she the man who gave her her first heartbreak eleven years ago. Tyler Ferguson loves being a veterinarian. But convincing his first to play the role of fiance will be a challenge. I liked reading this book. This is my first book by this author and I hope to read more.

Second chances don’t come along everyday. Tyler knows this and when his high school sweetheart enters his life for a second time, he will do everything to never let her go again. For actress Iona, a fake fiance should be easy to pull off. But when it is with Tyler, how will she keep her feelings intact? Lots of twists in this story. Loved it!!
