林詠琛，自童年開始酷愛在夜深時躲在被窩啃小說，大學時選修英國文學，也只因「每日奉旨狂追小說寫寫感想就能大學畢業，實在太幸福。」林詠琛進入文壇以前，從事了多年公關工作，從沒想過有一天會成為作家。開始寫作的契機是相信2000年的世界末日預言，想在末日前至少曾看過自己的小說被擺放在書局一角，於是在1999年毅然辭掉工作，完成了第一本作品《空之鏡》並自資出版。結果，世界末日沒有來，她寫作的文字精靈卻統統被喚醒了，迄今創作了逾三十部長篇小說。她筆下的故事，明明滲透著不可思議的色彩，卻讓人覺得情深意真。

Terrible!
There are over 12 characters in this book that all have a back story. I could not keep track of who is who. I think the writer intended the reader to feel something for each of the 9 characters that have their personal "challenge" to pass but with so many characters, I don't care about any of them. If there were fewer characters I would be more invested in each story. But with nine, I couldn't care less.
I didn't finish this book .
I think I'm done with this author.. disappointing!
