From the moment I saw Kate, I wanted her, and for more than just a quick turn in the sheets. Except, she’s my club president’s newfound daughter and completely off-limits.
Loyalty and trust are two of the most important values of the Desert Sinners. As an officer and one of Viking’s most reliable members, falling for the girl I was asked to protect could cause more than just problems within the club.
As simmering tensions with a rival club grow to a boil, and problems from Kate’s past come back to haunt her, my allegiance to the club and the desires of my heart are destined to collide.
I only hope I won’t lose everything in the destruction.
Rachel Lyn Adams is a USA Today bestselling author. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, five children, and a crazy number of fur babies. When life isn’t complete chaos, you’ll often find her with a Starbucks drink in her hand, reading a book, or coming up with new story ideas.
This was a quick, simple MC book without much depth or originality. I liked Mac and Kate and I liked Viking but this skimmed the surface of everything and ended before the relationship really solidified; before we could see Kate learn the limitations of club life along with the aspects that drew her in.
I'll read the next book but I hope it's more encompassing of the MC world and the relationships already introduced and those coming.
It looks like it takes a year to write these for her so I'm not sure how invested I'm going to get into this series. I'm too impatient and I forget characters and plot lines too easily when the publishing gap is too long for most authors.
This was a really good MC story. The only thing I didn’t like was the abrupt ending. I didn’t feel we got an ending for Mac and Kate even though there was an HEA. I also don’t feel we were getting insight into the next story.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I definitely enjoyed it. The writing is good, the story kept my attention. Definitely looking forward to reading more by this author!

Mac is book one of the Desert Sinners MC series. Kate has recently buried her grandmother, the last relative of hers to ever show her kindness. Her mother committed suicide when Kate was just a child and her grandfather and uncle were both verbally and emotionally abusive towards her. So when she finds that her uncle is kicking her out, she has nowhere to go. Her best friend Jonathan steps up and tells her to stay with him and his mum, but he soon wants to cross the lines of friendship and Kate can’t do that. When she was going through a box of things that her Grandmother had left her, Kate finds a letter from her mother and her birth certificate naming her father. She finds out that he is involved in the Desert Sinners MC, based near Las Vegas. With nothing left to lose, she packs up her car and sets off. Mac is at the clubhouse party when Kate first arrives looking for her father, Viking. He just so happens to be at home with his family, so Mac makes sure that someone calls him back to the clubhouse to meet his daughter. Mac is blown away by Kate. She’s beautiful but naive to the world of MC’s. When Viking meets her, he puts Mac in charge of looking out for Kate. She’s to be ‘hands off’ to everyone. Viking is nothing like Kate thought he would be and she starts to understand the draw of a brotherhood. A family. Kate’s never met a man a good looking as Mac. She doesn’t recognise her own beauty and has been verbally abused for so long, she doesn’t believe she’s worth anything. But the longer they spend together, the closer they get. The more they find out that they have in common and the stronger the chemistry between them gets. Before meeting Kate, Mac always played around. He can see himself settling down quite easily with Kate, but that would mean disobeying his Prez’s warning. The story is well written and interesting with all of the bikers having strong personalities that gel together. The relationship between Mac and Kate explodes pretty quickly and his loyalty is clear when something happens to Kate. There’s a rival gang that are causing trouble and that is going to only get worse. Even though the book works as a standalone novel, it is clear that the series should be read in order to get the most enjoyment, and its off to an excellent start with this book. Loved it :-)

Mac by Rachel Lyn Adams is book one in the Desert Sinners MC series. The story focuses on Kate and Mac. Kate has had a hard life with the death of her mother and now her grandmother. She is left with her cruel uncle who quickly tosses her out, with no place to go, only a letter from her mother can help her to put her on a new path…to finding her father. On her new journey Kate comes across the Desert Sinners MC, a club that her father belongs to as well as the domineering Mac who is given the task of looking after her. The only problem is that Kate is off limits!
This was a quick read due to the story being quite fast flowing. There is definitely an instant attraction between the two characters which is nice as well as Kate getting to know her father too. There is a little bit of drama in the story, but it mostly focuses on Kate becoming part of the MC life and getting to know her father and Mac better. It was definitely more of a sweet read than and angsty and gritty MC read, but overall, it was good.
I read Mac as part of the Outlaws Wanted anthology and enjoyed this MC book. We've got the story of Kate. She's in her early 20's and she's had a very sad life life living with a family that didn't seem to want her around. Her grandmother passes away and her uncle wants her gone. She has a few choices and even fewer belongings but in packing to leave she discovers who her father is. Her mother died when she was young and no one would ever discuss it with her. Her father is a member of a MC club in Las Vegas so she heads out to see if he knew about her and would like to get to know her. Mac is one of the first people that she meets in trying to get in touch with her father. He's suspicious and is very guarded of his MC family. Theirs is a interesting story and I enjoyed reading it. It's told from dual POV. 4+ stars for this MC book and I am looking forward to reading more in the series.
Kate has lost the one person in the world who might have loved her and her best friend within a few short days of each other. She sets out to try and find her father and finds a whole new world she never imagined. Viking is the President and Co-Founder of the Desert Sinners MC. No matter what else they do they protect their own and that now includes Kate. Mac is tasked with being her bodyguard but they both want so much more.
This was the first book I read by this author and I am looking forward to the next in the series. I read this as part of the Wanted: An Outlaw Anthology. Leaves us on a bit of a cliffhanger so anxiously waiting. I loved the characters, they may be part of an outlaw MC but they are good guys.
This is book one in the series and boy it was a good one. Can be read as a stand-alone. But I will hope to pick up the next one if I see her again at a book signing. Talk about sexual tension and a pull between characters. WHEW! This book makes you want to have that and if you already do it makes you happy you have it. The MC is all about family and togetherness, really reminded me of The Sons of Anarchy. Which is awesome. A fast and easy read. I devoured this book in a couple of hours. Such a great ride that I couldn’t help but turn the next page. Kate’s life hasn’t been easy but when she finds the club, I feel like she just finds herself. It amazing seeing her start out and end up where she did. Mac is dreamy and Kate deserves him. Loved this book.
Kate’s life was full of rejection and verbal abuse. Abandoned by her mother who committed suicide she was six, her life with her cruel grandfather and hateful uncle came to an abrupt end after her grandmother passed away. Thrown out to fend for herself, she traveled to Las Vegas to find her biological father. Mac was instantly attracted to Kate, but was explicitly warned to stay away by the president of his MC. A bit of drama with his OW and her stalkerish friend trying to keep this fatter couple apart. I liked the way he was willing to commit to Kate!

Kate has lived with her grandma since she was 6 when her mother committed suicide. When her grandmother does she is forced out of the only house she knows Upon leaving she takes a box her grandmother said was for her. Inside she receives a shock. Her mother wrote her a letter before she died and explained who her father was and that he did t even k ow she existed. After xontiplatiijmg what to do she finally travels to Las Vegas to meet her father. She meets Mac first and its instant attraction. This is a wonderful love story and a story of finding family. HEA. Awaiting the next book in the series.

Mac is a loyal brother to the club and respects his president. When asked to guard over Kate, his grown-up daughter who has just been discovered he agrees. The order that no one touches her isn't going to be so easy since that's all he wants to do.
There is trouble brewing for the club making the president's family targets. Mac has to spend all his time with Kate as well as help her adjust the life in the MC. The relationship is touching and hot.
I loved the story and the lovers. There were some touching moments, scary, funny, and steamy moments. These were characters of loyalty and ones fans will love as well. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
Keep an eye on my daughter the President said, guess I had a little more interest !!
Mac member of the Dessert Sinners MC was asked to watch over Vikings daughter but to his dismay Mac fell for Kate!! Kate wE brought up my her Grandmother after her mother killed herself. Grandmother died and Kate finds out who her father is and goes to Vegas to find him. Great book and story. Recommend with a 5 Stars rating
Kate has just lost the one person who means the world to her, now with her grandmother gone she is alone, no mother, never met her father. Mac is a member of the Dessert Sinners MC. They meet when Kate finds out who her father is, he's Mac's president. The attraction is there from first meeting. How will Kate take to finding a family that truly loves her? Will Mac cross the line with the prez daughter? When trouble shows will the Desert sinners keep late safe? Will they get a HEA?
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Loved the story of Mac and Kate. Kate is all alone, when her grandma died no one wanted her. Kate heads off to Las Vegas and the first person she met was Mac, Mac protects his MC brothers. Is she the daughter to the Pres? Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

What happens when a small town girl friends out her dad is the president of an MC? OR what happens when said man finds out He has a long list daughter? Well we find out in Mac. Kate is a small town girl who has led a sheltered life. After losing someone who means the most to her life decides to throw a few more lemons her way. Those lemons lead her to Mac and the Desert Sinners MC. Once there she finds just what having a family really means.
This is the 1st in a new series and what a wonderful introduction this is! Kate has not had the best of upbringings, and when she finds herself alone, she decides to seek out her dad, who is the President of the Sinners. She may be off limits however her and Mac have an undeniable attraction. This is a well written story which is action packed, and filled with suspense, twists and love. I was intrigued and hooked throughout and highly recommend for all MC lovers.
Mac has always been loyal to his club. He follows the rules and he follows the code. He had no problems doing that until Kate walked in. Kate just learned who her dad was. After her grandmother that raised her past away, her uncle threw her out ofvtge house. She discovers a note her mom left her telling her the name of her father. With no where to go, she goes to find him. Finding her father brings her a whole new family she learns to love. Her feelings for Mac become more, is it worth it.
This was a good, simple MC romance, without a lot of angst. Kate is a sweet FMC and Mac is a normal MC guy. There’s some club girl drama, but no cheating. HEA, but the MC plot goes into the next book.
We don’t get a huge HEA, but it’s enough. I’m hoping to see these characters in future books.
This is good read for people who like the MC setting, but don’t necessarily want the extreme version and who don’t need the angst.
This is a new to me author and this was a decent read, I'd call this a mild to moderate MC related story. Good romance and characters, MFC to me was just ok. I like my female leads strong of will and heart and Katie just didn't fit that character imo. She just didn't click for me and the best friend/ stalker part just weird and outta nowhere. Liked Mac and Viking hated Michelle( aka club wmore). 2.5 stars✌
This was an absolute great start to a new MC series! I loved the characters and can not wait for the next book to come out! Hoping to read more about Mac and Kate too! And that ending has been on edge waiting like a kid on Christmas for the next book! June absolutely can not come soon enough.
I love the idea that a daughter finds her dad years later. A 5 star rating and I would recommend this book to friends and family members. I can't wait for Colt to come out. True love after meeting a guy one time. Great chemistry between Mac and Kate. Once you start reading this book you will not want to put it down until you finished it.
This was a good one though I thought it was missing some meat and potatoes such as a virgin h, an abused H/h, a kidnapped h, etc. It was missing that conflict with a little grit. Mac and Kate work well together. I even like Viking. He's a good family oriented guy with good intentions toward Kate. Mac faces Vik like a man after getting caught with Kate. I just wish there was a little more angst.
I’m stuck in cheesy biker world. I’m not sure if it’s me or the books I’m choosing but I haven’t read a decent MC book lately. This was well written, flowed, no issues in that aspect. There was just no depth and you barely got a glimpse of the MC. It read like a sequence of events versus a get involved story. Didn’t fascinate me enough to want to read on.
A tame MC book with a good HEA. Good writing make this easy to finish before you know it. A good story line with a good teaser to lead into the next in the series. No cliffhanger makes it even better. Over a nice MC romance even if that sounds odd. Happy reading.
This was such a good hot read! I loved how the story was built up and how welcoming Kate's MC family was, Mac included! He was so hot and charming but so sweet and protective too! Definitely one of my favourite MC books! Only bad thing was that it wasn't longer!
