The last person I expected to see on this tropical island is my ex. Although, since I never actually broke up with her, isn’t she technically still my girlfriend?

Yeah, I’ve got some explaining to do. And groveling. Probably some begging, too. Good thing we’re stuck at this resort together for the next three weeks.

Corrine Harper is the only girl I’ve ever wanted, and I won’t let her slip through my fingers again. They call me Aiden the unattainable. Consider me attained.

Unattainable is the third book in the Night Time Television series by Jamie Schlosser. We met Theo in the previous book, Untrainable. So now it’s time to get to know his younger brother, Aiden, and the girl he never stopped loving, Corrine.

Aiden Legend’s life is finally starting to fall into place. After the devastating loss of his parents, he was in a very dark place for a very long time. But now, after winning the grand prize on a television talent show, he has his own reality talent show, Stranded with a Legend. And his brother, Theo, is the producer, who he is finally enjoying a closer relationship with. But on the first day of filming, everything else fades away as he sees the girl he fell in love with two and a half years ago, but walked away from when his parents died.

Corrine (Corrie) Harper’s dreams were coming true when she got hired for the job as a music mixer for the reality show. Part of the job was that she would get to spend three weeks on a beautiful tropical island. But she also knew that part of this job was going to be to come face to face with the boy she fell in love with, who wasn’t a boy anymore. She could avoid him, right? Just do her job and stay out of his path. As soon as their eyes met, though, she knew that she never did get over him. That there would be no avoiding him.

“The last time the world felt right was when I was with you.”

For Aiden, it was like the color suddenly came back into his life. His heart woke back up. One look, one touch, and he knew he had to get her back. That she still owned his heart.

These two were adorable together. Even though they were so young when they first met, they were it for each other. And in the time that had elapsed, their hearts had just sort of gone dormant until they were back in each other’s lives again. Aiden was a sweet talker most definitely. He said all the right things. Corrie was so cute with all of her little quirks. But with Aiden, she was stronger, more courageous. There was a no fraternizing rule in her contract, though. So they had to keep everything secret. And what about after their time on the island was up? She had to go back to Chicago and work. Aiden was a brand new star. He had obligations. How could they fit into each other’s lives?

“My safe place and best friend. My deep end.”

There was so much I loved about this book. First, I loved, loved seeing Theo and Aiden’s relationship now. They were so close. They were finally enjoying the brotherly bond that had been denied them growing up. Aiden and Corrie were perfect together. Their chemistry was off the charts. This is just a really easy, sweet, sexy read with very little angst and lots of feel good moments. You just can’t help but to get swept up with these two and want everything to work out for them. One thing I have to give the author so much credit for that I thought stood out. That once these two had committed themselves back to each other, they never doubted each other. Even when others tried to make them believe otherwise. Their love was true and their trust was strong. I really liked that about this book.

I have so fallen in love with this author! I love the way she writes and I love her characters. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Aiden Legend’s, 21, happy life was turned upside-down when he lost his parents at eighteen. In the process of grieving, he also pushed away the girl he adored.
“‘The last time the world felt right was when I was with you.’”

But now that he’s got his life back on track and the girl he always wanted in his sights, he’s ready to make amends.
“‘I should know what you taste like. What turns you on. What you look like when you sleep. Where your most ticklish spot is, and how you like to be kissed. By now, I could’ve known your body better than I know my own.’”

Aiden’s a total sweetie and an all-round good guy. I flove that he didn’t whore around in the years he was grieving; he was just lonely and lost. And man does he always know how to say the right thing.
“‘I’d rather rack myself in the nuts than break her heart.’”

Corrie Harper, 21, has her quirks. Like I might have a phobia or two, but this girl made me feel totally normal. None the less, it lends the comedic elements to the tale.

Told via their dual alternating first person POV, the pair doesn’t waste any time making up for lost time or rising the temperatures on a tropical island with their hot and dirty encounters.
“‘Call me old fashioned, but I thought you coming on my cock was a pretty good sign for the future.’”

All in all, a sweet, safe, low angst second chance romance with a super epilogue. Theo and Hadley from Untrainable make appearances with Theo proving what an awesome big brother he can be. Still the story can be read as a standalone, though the other two in this series really are must reads.

Safety Recap:

PS Because it’s sure to be stuck in your head:

(Okay I know Aiden and his show is all about country music, but this is how I picture the song. he he)

Did someone say second chance? Well, that's my jam for sure.

Aiden and Corrine's story is one of those bittersweet tales. As you read the backstory as to why one has stayed away from another, you can completely connect with the characters. You want to sit down and say "Yes, I completely get it. Now stop being stupid and be together."

Because when they are together - you love them even more. The dialogue is fun. The banter between the main and secondary will have you chuckling to 'the end'.

A reader may enter the story with feelings of fun, sexy, and swoony relationship you know you can trust for Jamie Schlosser to deliver. And she does so hands down. Yet, these two also offered something tender and real.

I love Jamie Schlosser's storytelling and characters. This one is another favorite of mine. Looking for something fun with lots of 'awe' swoons - getting to reading this story.

“I’ve never wanted anyone else. Only you. My only kiss. The only one who’s ever had my heart.” “I have your heart?” Nodding, he placed my hand on his chest. “Don’t break it.”

Such a good story with great characters.
Many parts of this story was laugh out loud funny while other parts just made you swoon.
So nice to read about Hollywood or famous characters and not have the H's be complete asshole manwhores or have flaky h's.
When you have a great storyline and characters with honest and believable feelings, you have a 5 star from me. Great job!

This book is everything.

Sincerity and authenticity just pour out of this story. 100% safe for even the most rigorous of safety readers, this book has humor, steam, realness and the kind of love that when you swipe to the final page is utterly believable. This is a book that will stay with me, for all the right reasons, for a real long time.

2.5 stars rounding up...

Jamie Schlosser’s ‘Unattainable’ is an easy read, while looking like it’s custom-written for disgruntled readers who have at some point in time or other, found fault with the lack of grovelling, with gendered double-standards especially during separations and with forcing conflict for the sake of prolonging the story.

The result of these preset conditions is a safe, uber-sweet story of 2 characters who’d found each other again by coincidence and somehow resolved their unhappiness with each other (possibly too) quickly. Much of it thereafter, was an angst-free upward tick of how both juggled their budding careers and their own blossoming relationship.

To read Corrie and Aiden rediscover each other and be each other’s firsts in so many ways was nonetheless enjoyable—free of the usual prolonged, rocky period where both parties wonder about the other people they’ve dated during separation—, interspersed with odd moments that felt a bit more farcical than funny to me.

But entertainment (mine, at least) comes out of conflict and it was ‘Unattainable’’s predictability, its quick resolution of problems in the first few chapters after Corrie/Aiden’s reconciliation and Corrie’s speedy agreement to give coupledom a go again despite her reservations that pulled the book into a lull-period for me. I wonder if it would have worked better if there were a few more troughs and peaks before Corrie/Aiden really got together, though it’s probably a delicate balance that is hard to achieve.

Still, there’s an unfailing, rosy optimism that colours the entire storytelling if it’s your kinda thing but speaks less to my own brand of cynical scepticism: a kind of sense that love really will keep them together in the years to come, a finality that there’s no other travails this couple would face in their romantic lives.

So fun and cute! Really enjoyed! Ill pretty much read anything by Jamie Schlosser.

The relationship was just beyond fluffy and it was nice to see a heroine who had so many phobias cause i myself am paranoid about a lot of things and the way the hero was there for her was really beautiful and sweet.

Safety:
◇no om drama
◇no real ow drama: 2 contestants flirt with him but he thwarts their advances. A producer lies to h saying hes on a date with ow but she doesnt believe him and it isnt true, she was lodging a sexual harassment complaint and H's brother was also there.
◇no cheating/sharing
◇both virgins
◇condoms (sometimes) and birth control are used.
◇kinda separation? They dated in HS but his parents passed and he kinda ghosted her (he feels bad about that and pined for her in the 2.5 years after that)
◇i think both are twenty
◇HEA 6 yrs in future, married with 1 daughter and a 2nd on the way

Once upon a time there was a hot country singer and a purple haired music master who feel in love. Mix in a little humor and some extremely hot sex for an epic romance story. Jamie Schlosser has done it again! Unattainable is the story of Aiden Legend and Corrine Harper. Aiden Legend, son of the founder of Night Time Television, became famous at a young age when his family starred in the reality television show “Living with a Legend”. More recently he starred in and won “The Final Showdown”, a talent show. As the winner of “The Final Showdown” and a Legend he has one more show to finish before he pursues his own music career. Which brings him to a tropical island to film “Stranded with a Legend”. A competition where contestants will compete for their own chance at a record deal. Unbeknownst to Aiden, Corrine Harper has been hired as a music mixer for the competition.

Aiden and Corrine have a history. They met in high school and fell in love, but when tragedy struck Aiden cut himself off from everyone, including Corrine. Aiden has regretted that decision ever since. As soon as Aiden sees Corrine he realizes he has a chance to fix his worst mistake and get back the only woman he has ever loved.

Corrine isn’t so quick to forgive. Aiden cut her off without any explanation and left her broken hearted. It took her a long time to get over what he did, and she isn’t ready to just let him back into her heart. But, those feelings are still there. Aiden knows what he needs to do. He needs to win her back, and he sets out to do just that, but there are things Aiden doesn’t know about Corrine. Corrine has phobias. Lots of phobias. And of course everything Aiden plans to win Corrine back . . . well, things don’t go as he hoped. Hilarity ensues. As do some very hot sex scenes and some sweet romantic scenes. Of course, there is a happily ever after for this awesome couple. And the epilogue? IT. IS. EVERYTHING!!

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this book. The characters are well-developed and the story is paced perfectly. One thing that really impressed me was how well Corrine’s phobias were handled. Ms. Schlosser recognizes the difficulties such phobias can create in a person’s life as well as the humor that can come along with them. This is not an angsty book. It is a second-chance romance that is sweet, sexy, and hilarious.

Side note: I was reading this book at work. Ok, I was reading this book in the bathroom at work. I may have lingered a little longer in the bathroom to read more of the book. The problem was the part of the book I was at was freaking HILARIOUS. I kept trying to stifle my laughter, but that just created weird sounds. I’m pretty sure I may have scared some women out of the bathroom. Then I was trying so hard not to laugh out loud or make weird sounds I almost fell off the toilet. All of this to say, be careful where you read this book.

A lost love, a second chance, and a woman with more phobias than a Dalmatian has spots.
Add in a male virgin, a romantic island and some alcohol and you have the perfect setting for this romcom. Aiden and Corrie were a great read. Real. Sweet. Funny. Aiden is thoughtful, warm, and still in love with the girl from his past. Corrie is quirky, scared, and worried about losing her heart again. Together they mesh and their relationship is a joy to read.
Laugh out loud funny moments, sweet, heart-wrenching words, and some drama to keep things interesting, this is a 5 star summer read!

When Aiden sees Corrie again while filming his reality show, he sees it as his second chance. Now if only Corrie wants to give him that chance...

I found Unattainable fun, sweet and sexy. I love that Aiden isn't the typical manwhore rockstar, and I especially love that Corrie is independent, strong, and uninterested and unimpressed by Aiden's money, doesn't see him as a way to better her circumstances. If you're looking for a fun, sexy love story, I highly recommend you download a copy of Unattainable today.

POV ~> Alternating first-person

I did not like this cover as much as I did the last two. The female model looks uncomfortable and/or bored, thus not really selling the story. Luckily, I’ve read the previous books to this series as have been excited about this one since the end of UNTRAINABLE.
High school sweethearts, Corrie and Aiden were ripped apart by tragedy. Now, a few years later, they come face-to-face once again and Aiden’s determined to get it right this time.
She provides a sense of stability; home. He encourages her to be brave and strong. They both want to be better people for the other and feel the other helps them be that better person.
In the midst of a reality TV talent show, Aiden’s the star and Corrie’s the audio technician. They’re contracted not to mingle, but the heart wants what it wants and there’s just no keeping these two apart.
The lead characters are perfectly imperfect, making them relatable and quirky. Their chemistry is magnetic. The secondary characters filled a wide range of personalities. The interactions and dialogue were smart and entertaining. The plot concept was enjoyable and the flow was fantastic. There were a few minor conflicts along the way and all were resolved nicely. Mild to moderate predictability was detected. The conclusion is solid and quite satisfying.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and was glad to see Theo and Hadley again as well.

“It’s only ever been you...”

Grab a suitcase, a string bikini and some sun block because Jamie Schlosser is about to whisk you off to tropical paradise in UNATTAINABLE, the third captivating standalone in her Nighttime Television Series!

THE PREMISE:
Back when they both attended the Weston Academy of Fine Arts, Aiden Legend and fellow songbird, Corrie Harper, were in perfect harmony on—and off—the stage! But mere moments after sharing their very first kiss, they were torn apart by unspeakable tragedy. Drowning in grief over his parents’ deaths, Aiden dropped out of Weston Academy and a heartbroken Corrie never heard from him again. But even as they both went on to pursue their lifelong ambitions, neither of them forgot their sizzling hot connection...or stopped wondering “what if....”

Now two and a half years later, they get a chance at a DO OVER when they reunite on the reality music TV show, Stranded with a Legend, in which Aiden’s the star and Corrie has landed her dream job behind the scenes as the audio engineer.

Sparks immediately reignite between the former sweethearts, but no matter how much she might still pine for him, Corrie knows that Aiden Legend was always the shining star she couldn’t quite reach. And besides, fraternization on the set is a STRICT NO-NO. However, America’s ‘it’ man is bound and determined reclaim his adorkable first love and pulls out all the stops to make her his! But can this lust-crazed, hopefully-smitten duo achieve the UNATTAINABLE once their three weeks of tropical bliss comes to an end?

MY MUSINGS:
I always get a giddy euphoric rush while reading a Jamie Schlosser book and WOW did she make me fall head over heels in love with UNATTAINAIBLE! This sweet, enchanting, delightfully sexy rom-com tugged at my heartstrings, tickled my funny bone, and made me FEEL ALL THE FEELS!

The writing is top notch as always. Ms. Schlosser’s warm, breezy prose just flows so effortlessly, her comedic timing is BRILLIANT, her whimsical tone is tinged with heartfelt poignancy, and hee hee she may be the ONLY author on the planet who makes me a total believer of the DOUBLE VIRGIN TROPE! I am also a sucker for a swoony second chance romance and she provided a triple whammy by transporting this darling duo to an exotic tropical island AND adding a forbidden workplace twist!

Furthermore, I truly admire how she always crafts a delightfully entertaining, lighthearted read that provides the perfect romantic escape, yet still manages to delve into real life, relatable problems that strike a chord! For at its core, this is a story of love, acceptance, soul deep healing, seizing second chances and finding your rightful place in the world!

Sighhh…both MCs completely stole my heart! For starters, Aiden is so DREAMY! Magnetically charming, chivalrously sexy and oh so gentlemanly, he gave me BUTTERFLIES GALORE! But this drop-dead gorgeous country crooner is not your run of the mill celebrity BBF! Aiden suffered a horrific family loss that truly reverberated throughout his life. My heart ached for what he went through after his parents died yet his ability to pick himself up from his bootstraps to start anew and his sheer determination to atone for the past and win back the girl who got away just made me love him all the more!

“This was what it felt like to come back to life. For years, I’d been breathing, yet drowning at the same time. Existing, but not really living. Playing a part. Pretending to be happy. Up until now.”

And his lavender-haired ladylove, Corrie, is also TOTALLY RAD! I was drawn to her sweetness, her spunk, her kind-heartedness, and her HUGE capacity for love and forgiveness. But just like Aiden, this petite beauty is not infallible. Her quirks, vulnerabilities, deep seated insecurities, and fierce, stubborn determination to forge her OWN path, totally endeared her to me!

Gah! I truly couldn’t get enough of this vibrant, fun, goofy, PERFECTLY IMPERFECT couple! Individually they shine but together Aiden and Corrie SPARKLE like true superstars! They have the kind of magical chemistry that takes your breath away, they make each other braver—and ridiculously happy—and truly bring out the best in each other.

“You’re my courage and I’m your contentment.”

Of course, the fact that they must rendezvous in secret made this romance even hotter—and more awkwardly adorable—and as the plot unfolds and these cute clandestine lovers find themselves baring their souls, healing old hurts, and falling head over heels for each other again, I felt this palpable sense of urgency building between them because they are on borrowed time. Can they find a way to fit into each other’s worlds once the reality show ends? Well…duh…it goes without saying that Aiden and Corrie get their long-awaited HEA—with a swoony epilogue to boot— but the journey along the way is not without some nail-biting tumult!

As for the side characters, they were FANFREAKINGTASTIC and they added a lot of warmth, wit and juicy drama to the wonderfully penned reality show-based storyline! And although I have not read the first two installments in the Nighttime Television Series—and this book reads fine as a complete standalone— now of course I want to catch up with the entire series. I especially want to know more about Aiden’s older brother, Theo, who is featured predominantly in this book as host/producer on the reality show. I really loved the sibling bond between these two young men, who have mended fences after a long estrangement—and can’t wait to dive into UNTRAINABLE, which features Theo and Hadley’s romance.

BOTTOM LINE:
Temperatures rise and sweetness, hilarity and forbidden island frolicking abound in UNATTAINABLE, another winsome read by the mega talented Jamie Schlosser!.

Highly Recommend!

Unattainable is a good read. It's book two in the Night Time Television Series but it can be read as a standalone. If you read the first one ( Untamable), you'll be happy to know we get some
Theo and Hadley in this one. The focus of this story is Theo's brother Aiden. Aiden is super sweet and nice. He and Corrie were high school sweethearts but after the death of his parents he pushed everyone away including Corrie. Now they are both on the set of Stranded With A Legend. Corrie is a music mixer for the reality show. She has a clause in her contract that there is no fraternizing with co-workers. That means Aiden should be off limits but once these two get talk there's no stopping a relationship between them. These two were super cute and I loved their story.

I am a huge Jamie Schlosser fan, I have even been named a “super fan”, so you can imagine that I loved this book. This book was just as good as I had anticipated. I’m not going to lie, when I first read that his ex-girlfriend was on the island too, but he never actually broke up with her, I thought….what, what? Aiden is a total sweetheart though, probably one of Jamie’s sweetest male characters, next to my Ezra. He and Corrie were in high school and had just had their first kiss when he got the news of his parents passing away. His parents and he were extremely close, so he basically locked himself away, because he was not as close to Theo like he wanted to be. My heart went out to him when he was talking about this part of his life, very sad. I was not a huge fan of his parents, because of the way they treated Theo, but I am a huge fan of Aiden and Theo.

Corrie was a sweetheart too, with a few quirks, but it just made her so much sweeter. These two together were one of my favorite couples of Jamie’s. This book had it all, great storyline, romantic, funny af, sexy scenes with 2 virgins.

Safe read. Sexy scenes with a laugh out loud condom scene that I could not quit laughing at, there may have been some funny talk about some Apple Pie….stuff too. No om, some ow stuff, but I don’t really count that, Aiden didn’t notice and Theo stepped in. A great storyline. There was time apart, but neither were with anyone else during that time. These two are soul mate relationship goals. Great characters and we get to see Theo and his wife too. Epilogues and an hea.

Aiden Legend is no stranger to reality shows. Winning a talent show landed him his own gig called Stranded with a Legend where he chooses music hopefuls while on a private island. Think tropical American Idol. He’s young and knows he wants to be a country music star even if he’s never stepped foot on a ranch. He has mended fences with his brother Theo and the two are inseparable. When Aiden lands on the island he doesn’t realize how hard this job is going to be and he locks eyes on one girl he thought he would never see again. The love of his life Corrie. A girl he knew back in the day before tragedy rocked his world. He’s hoping this is their chance for a new start. While juggling the show he is also trying to win Corrie back.

Corrie has always loved Aiden Legend and she was hurt and thought maybe she wasn’t that important to him. Her career in music hasn’t always been what she wanted it to be, but she paved her own way. When she is given the job as a music mixer on Stranded with a Legend, she knew her chances of running into Aiden are very great. She just needs the job so she figures she’ll dodge him when she can. When they finally find themselves alone it’s like coming home. Corrie opens up about her fears and struggles while Aiden opens up to her about his music and his family life. Little by little they come together and fall for each other.

This book was a perfect little mix of everything. Real life problems, love, steamy times, and finding your own way in this world. You had to admire Corrie for wanting to pave her own way. She didn’t want Aiden’s money or his pull in the music world. Aiden, I admired. He wasn’t the typical 21-year-old music star. He was honest and true and didn’t want to dash peoples hopes and dreams. Ross the scumbag needed what was coming to him. I liked that we got to see a lot of Theo and Hadley. Aiden the unattainable became Aiden the lover. Kudos to another awesome story in this series.

Another RomCom hit for Jamie Schlosser!

I look forward to every release by this author. I know I’m going to get quality writing, a highly enjoyable story, and an escape into a world that makes me happy. That’s exactly what I got with Unattainable.

This fun story was exactly what I needed - loaded with humor, full of emotion, and high on the feel-good tingles. I’m pretty sure I had a smile during most of the book.

Aiden was first introduced in Untrainable, and I was very eager for his story. Untrainable was Theo’s book, and Aiden is Theo’s younger brother. I was very happy to see so much of Theo (and Hadley) in this book. And I loved seeing their relationship grow and their bond get stronger.

Aiden & Corrie met as teenagers.
They were young and new, they were smitten, they were falling for each other. Then after a tragic event, Aiden left suddenly without a word or any contact. Years later, they end up in the same place, both nervous and excited and adorably vulnerable, knowing they are going to face each other again soon. And all those angry and hurt feelings come out. But luckily, all the sparks between them are still there.

These characters are so easy to love, easy to root for. From the start, I couldn’t get enough of them. Their chemistry is strong and their banter is super fun.

Aiden is such a beautiful soul - kind-hearted, generous, sexy AF, and...a virgin. *insert heart-eyes here* And damn if I didn’t want to be the one to deflower that country-singin’ Hottie McTottie.

The way Aiden helps Corrie with her phobias, the way he’s so understanding, is yet another reason he is perfect BBF material.

And to go along with his heart of gold and his nature to make people happy, he goes and melts hearts by saying things like this:

“You said earlier that I make you brave? Well, you make me happy. I’ll be your courage if you’ll be my contentment.”

See??
*SWOOOOOON*

When it comes to romance novels, I am a huge first kiss snob. It needs to make my heart race and it better rock my socks off. Well, I have to say, Aiden & Corrie’s first kiss (not the almost-kiss from years ago) was highly satisfactory! My socks were rocked right off. <3

I can’t say enough good things about this book - I loved everything about it. This was a feel-good story that left me satisfied in the best way. It’s the perfect blend of fun, laughs, heart, and passion.

If you’ve read and loved the other two books in this series, I’m confident you’ll enjoy this one.

How can this author keep wowing me with every book she writes? This one is a very loving second chance romance with a bit of secrecy to the story that will have you turning the page to learn more. Not only do with meet two new characters in this book but we get to see what is happening with Theo and Hadley as well, but this is still a stand-alone read as you do not need to read the first two books to follow this great story. This is a very sweet, sexy and funny read that will melt your heart as it reinforces your belief in first and everlasting love.

Aiden Legend is about to star in his own TV reality talent show, “Stranded with a Legend” when he sees someone he thought he had lost. His ex-high school girlfriend Corrie, what was she doing here on his show? He didn’t really care he was just grateful to have the chance to apologise for leaving her.

Corrine Harper (Corrie) is second-guessing herself as to why she took this job? A job that she is hoping will lead to her starting her career in the world she loves music.

“ I had months to mentally prepare myself for this day, so why was I such a wreck?
Well. Because I thought I was over him.
I was wrong.”

“This was what it felt like to come back to life. For years, I’d been breathing, yet drowning at the same time. Existing, but not really living. Playing a part. Pretending to be happy.”

“I’ll be your courage if you’ll be my contentment.”

“The last time the world felt right was when I was with you.”

2.5 🌟rounded down

This was a decent read until the third act, which really kind of bummed me out. It’s definitely a personal preference issue, as the H acts in a reasonable way that most readers won’t take issue with, but for me it just made me feel like he was a little selfish, since the situation occurred largely because of his own pushing. I like my H’s to be so obsessed that they will literally do anything to protect/make amends etc. when the h is hurt or sad 🤷🏼‍♀️ There was no third act break up though, so most will be happy. I personally wanted the h to break up with him, but I can be vindictive like that lol

Otherwise, this was cute and safe for a second chance! Although, I was wondering if the H really would have looked for the h and rekindled their relationship if they had never met again under these circumstances. Even though he said he was going to look her up, it obviously wasn’t a priority. His grief was used as an excuse and I understood that it was forgivable for that reason, but he wasn’t grieving so much that he couldn’t still go on a reality tv show and kickstart his music career… so I don’t know. Not my fave H ever, that’s for sure.

Safety:
Dual virgins. First, last and only for both, with everything.
No om drama.
No ow drama - just some jealousy since the H is on a reality show and the producers are trying to push the contestants on him.

Jamie Schlosser... this lady is totally my idol and spirit animal in every little way when it comes to romance and the couple goals she writes. Her books are always a little easier... a whole lot sweeter... jam-packed with heart, heat, and swoony love stories... and filled with tons of laughs and swooning that'll leave your ribs aching from all the goodness and a perma-smile etched into your face, start to finish.

Jamie is back with all-new standalone in one of my very favorite series by her, Night Time Television and she totally had me by the end of chapter one. Unattainable was a sexy, sweet, swoony, laugh out loud, second chance romantic comedy that had me hooked on everything that was Corinne and Aiden and all the feels they gave! These two y'all.... *dreamy sigh* they were so dang good, hitting me right in the heart at times, and the chemistry between them was so explosive, magnetic, and completely undeniable in all the ways. I loved every moment they gave me, completely unforgettable and their journey... unputdownable.

If you want an easier romance that keep you smiling and swooning then Jamir Schlosser is a must read.

I highly recommend this book.

A second chance romance that’s sweet, sexy and gives you everything you have come to love and expect from this author! This is a great series.

Aiden is a country music star on the rise. Fresh off winning a reality show, he’s working towards a career in country music. He’s been picked to mentor and judge on his own show for the next great music star. He never expected to find “the one” from his past.

Corrie needed a job. And even though it meant seeing him again, the guy who crushed her heart, she was willing to do it. She’d just keep to herself and hopefully he wouldn’t notice her.

A second chance is all he wants and he’s willing to do anything to get it.

I really enjoy these romances with great guys who aren’t afraid to take a risk on love. A man that knows what he wants and is willing to accept responibilty for the hurt he caused. A man willing to do anything to have the love they both deserve. This story was more. There was pain, past hurts and unresolved feelings. This was their chance to get the happy ending they deserved with each other. Enjoy this fun and steamy romance.

I had a really hard time in this one and never really got fully invested in the romance. The whole thing is set up as a "one that got away" trope. Come to find out they hung out for a few months in high school. Their first kiss was interrupted by the news of his parent's death. He then ghosted and they both went their separate ways. Apparently though they went their entire adult lives without ever getting involved with anyone else. They decided that this meant they were meant for each other even though it seems like they never actually tried to move on from a few months of friendship and one kiss. As a result of this, though I appreciated the author's humorand sexy but realistic sex scenes, I couldn't buy into the relationship. Especially because this one didn't have the same relationship building as her other books. I'd definitely read more by this author but wouldn't recommend this one

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:

OH THANK THE BOOK GODS, UNATTAINABLE WAS DELIGHTFULLY ADORABLE, OUTRAGEOUSLY FUNNY AND BEAUTIFULLY SWEET!

Jamie Schlosser did a STUPENDOUS job with her newest romantic comedy. I have been craving Aiden's story since I learned of him in Untrainable. He is such a sweetheart and gorgeous and kind. And Corrine is a unique and brilliant heroine with quirks and issues that had me loving her. I enjoyed the way this story was written. It was completely captivating and fun and so effing cute! I laughed, I fell in love, and couldn't get enough. Corrine and Aiden had some major sparks flying between them. And the fact that BOTH of them were virgins made it even more special. Their romance blossomed beautifully and in a way that had my heart melting. Such a sweet and entertaining story that deserves ALL the stars in the sky!

Unattainable gets a PERFECT FIVE DELIGHTFUL STARS!

With every book I get my grabby hands on that Jamie Schlosser writes, I just want more! I was very fortunate to receive an early copy of Unattainable and I absolutely fell in LOVE with Aiden and Corrine! This second chance romance made my heart happy :) A story of two young kids falling in love only to be separated by something so tragic..and something Aiden never got to talk to Corrine about. Now, back together on an island, Aiden isn’t going down without a fight for the only woman he’s ever loved.

I was totally swept up in Aiden and Corrine’s story! The swoon worthy times, the stolen moments together and being able to reconnect and explain what happened to their love all those years ago...GAH!!! Loved it! This was a fun and sweet story! A must read!

I was pulled right into this story. This story contains laughs, heartbreak, and cats.

The below are part of this series if you want to read those books(s) first
Untamable (Night Time Television)
Untrainable (Night Time Television)

This is Corrine and Aiden‘s story. Corrine knows when she takes a job on the set, she will have to see Aiden. But she can handle it right? As soon as he sees her, he knows he needs her back. After all they never really broke up so he can still use that to his advantage. He knows he only has one shot to convince her that she has him forever. Is she willing to believe him?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Perhaps I needed to read the earlier books in this series to fully appreciate this story, but it took a while for me to get invested in this story. I enjoyed this new-to-me author's style, she's got a fun voice, I just didn't feel connected to the characters the way I was hoping I would, until much further into the story.

I cared enough about this story to want to go back and read the first two books in this series to see what I missed from the previous couples. I'm a sucker for a back story and there was some stories I missed and would have appreciated knowing more about before reading this book.
